So I've been lurking around this forum, random YouTube channels and websites looking at information on getting into GPU mining. I decided to finally register here because I have a question on calculating profits from a GPU mining rig. This is the pre-built rig I've been looking at...
This just can't be real. Why isn't everyone doing this? I understand that ETH rises in complexity, but anyone can buy/build a rig. What am i missing?
that's right, just for now.
But be sure it will not always be like today.
That's the reason there are no Amd RX 470/480 or 570/580 in any store in the world

i have a asus prime Z270(with 7 GPUs) I also had the same problem.
try this: must have windows 10 installed in UEFI Mode update motherboards BIOS to the latest version and enabled 4G decoding. if you already have windows 10 and drivers installed use DDU to uninstall AMD drivers. now install any drivers 17.1.1 or any up to drivers 17.5.1. Turn off your pc.
Install one video card at a time and Run atikmdag-patcher.exe. Download the Patcher: Pixel Clock patcher: https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher If all limits are found, click "Yes" to patch and sign. If a limit is not found or if multiple matches are found, the patcher needs to be updated. Reboot.
When you have done all the cards one by one, turn off your pc. and install all the cards.
the asrock is almost discontinued but there are good alternative check the asus prime z270-a and p version they can carry up to 8 gpu with proper tweak https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=155
Ah yes, this looks like a good one. $40 more than what I had budgeted for my rigs, but may be worthwhile adding the extra cards there
I have asus prime z270-ar using 6 gpus not sure if i want to try 7th gpu.
