I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Government will never accept this kind of technology because they will never gonna have access to it. But the government will never control peolple. Shocked

Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it?
by

on 24/04/2017, 10:26:02 UTC
Since Zcash launch, prices have been around the $1000+ mark, however after a few days the price has gone down, and I think that it will continue to do so for the following days until it reaches the total supply of 21 million coins.

In my own opinion, Zcash has been overvalued, (considering that there have been privacy oriented altcoins before like Monero) and the fact that Zcash does not enforce anonymity by default (unlike Monero), it makes me wonder whenever Zcash would be a good investment or not.

If there is one thing that I don't like about Zcash, is the fact that it is behind a company, as well as having a sort of premine called Founder's reward, which seems kind of fishy to me.

Please let me know what do you think about this.  Smiley
I suggest you to wait for a lower price and/or problems fixed.Just look at all the poor people who bought in higher Sad

I think a nice way to convert dollars to bitcoin would be to buy something for dollars that you know you could sell for a premium in bitcoin and then immediately resell it online. That would help the bitcoin economy in multiple ways while potentially earning you a profit instead of costing you fees. Smiley

Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader
by
vips
on 22/04/2017, 05:33:54 UTC
“Soon, though, I became aware that there was an even bigger game available to players like me. It was, in fact, the biggest game in town -- the international financial markets. So my interest shifted from playing cards to playing the markets.” - James Frazer

Someone in a West African country - a young man - had exhausted all means of getting a reliable livelihood, including hard manual labor. He resorted to commercial motorcycle riding. At least, he was able to get some money to feed his family.

One day, he’d a near fatal accident, and got confined to bed for weeks. I thought he’d never go back to commercial bike riding. I was wrong! Since he thought he’d no alternative, he went back to that job.

The young man went back to a job that nearly claimed his life because he’d no alternative; yet many quit trading because they lost negligible amount of money. People suffer ignominious defeat in other areas of their life and careers, and they don’t see any big deal in that. Nonetheless, they see a big deal in trading losses and they think there are better alternatives.

There are many people who tried to discourage me from trading when I started. These were people who were considered intelligent and successful in other fields, like religion, education, politics, etc.

For example, one respected religious man told me that he didn’t want to become a trader because he knew those who wanted to make heaven shouldn’t trade. What a totally wrong opinion about trading? That statement could discourage ignorant people from attaining their potential as traders. The man later sent me a personal email, asking me to remove him from my mailing list because he wasn’t a “businessman,” and he wasn’t interested in trading. I quickly removed him from my mailing list. He later blocked me on Facebook because he didn’t want to see some of my posts, which obviously related to trading.

I wasn’t deterred by his actions, for I knew his actions were also lined with envy. I knew he wasn’t the one to feed me or carry my responsibilities for me. He’d his own responsibilities and he’d even be glad if someone like me offered him some cash.

Years later, the same man was surprised that I’m still a trader, with a measure of success. I even sent him some money recently. He was grateful for the gift.

When Should You Become a Trader?
Now is the time for you to decide to become a trader. You chances of success are greater than you can imagine.

How can this be possible? I’ll reveal the secrets in my coming articles.

Most people come to trading as a last resort: When they’re completely down, when they’ve nothing to rely on and they’ve exhausted other possibilities. This is a wrong time to become a trader, since the financial pressure on you would make it impossible to trader with sane logic and rationality.

It’s better for you to become a trader when you’ve another sources of income. When you know that some initial challenges you encounter wouldn’t endanger your wellbeing (and perhaps, that of your family).

When you’re supported by your family, your life as a trader would become easier. Joe Ross, a trading veteran, once said his wife suggested that he write down what he knew about trading so that his children could learn in the event they ever wanted to take up trading. What he wrote at that time became his first book. Joe Ross clearly had support from his family. What a blessing!

Don’t Give Up Trying to Become a Successful Trader
Several years ago, when I encountered initial challenges in trading, I was tempted to give up. However, I was lucky to come across some things that encouraged me to keep on going. I knew I’d no better alternatives than trading. Now I’m happy to be a trader. I can only look forward to a brighter future.

Trading success is sweet, liberating and enriching. There are numerous known and unknown traders all over the world, who make decent profits on monthly and annual basis. They won’t exchange this wonderful privilege for anything! By not giving up trying to become a successful trader, you’ll soon experience the joy of financial freedom that comes with trading.

Conclusion: Many a good trader has survived the point at which chicken-hearted people quit, and has been rewarded. If we also imitate such determined traders, we’d survive whatever the hurdles we come across and we’ll enjoy rewards greater than what people think we can enjoy.

This article is ended with the quote below:

“Roald Amundsen says: Adventure is merely bad planning. I have talked about Amundsen before and focused in particular about how his success as an explorer was a function of his obsessive planning. What strikes me about people who are successful in very difficult fields is that they all share similar traits, attributes or philosophies.  Much the same could be said about traders and trading/. If you are find trading an adventure or it is exciting/stressful then you are most likely doing it incorrectly.” – Chris Tate (Source: Tradinggame.com.au)

We shall explain here the above said formulas but the other things which are very important and need to be taken care of are –1-Having a proper Mind-set and Psychology ,2-Control over the Emotions, 3-Having a Plan-Having a proper trading plan is an important part of trading in stock markets. You should be clear of the entry level, target level and stop loss of the particular stock which you are trading in

I like bitcoin and trust it a lot. It has given me lots of profit until now by app, using strategy of buy at low sell at high. So yes I have put more than 50% of my money into bitcoins. Moreover it has no transaction limits and my bank also don't ask me from did the money come. For heavy transaction I can simply say I traded and won my money.

I will leave one on this pool but I'm not doing all with no pay in the near future or last 6 months.
I totally get that.  That's why my challenge is to all the miners out there that have multiple machines as I now do.  Most of my hash is pointed at kano for regular (enough) payouts, and the rest is pointed here.  Get enough of us to point some hash here and we'll get a share rate for maybe a block or two between diff changes.  I wouldn't mind that...
I have multiple pairs of S3s running on Corsair 750's and they have been fine for a long time.

This is a really great news and lets hope that in future it will be available in all countries where we would be able to spend our bitcoins to buy almost anything and it would really great fun to pay for food in restaurants using bitcoin as a mode of payment.
Yes, I hope will be many Italian who accept bitcoin making it easier for users of the bitcoin in real deals, I prefer to use the bitcoin transactions directly rather than bitcoin ATM.

Re: Possible to Mine Bitcoins Using Desktop?
by
vips
on 21/04/2017, 06:42:45 UTC
What you mean by negative profit? If I am getting electricity for free, then there will be no loss, right? Anyway, I don't care if I get any profit or not. Mining will be fun, and I want to experience it.

I mean that mining with a good, new i7 + decent GPU PC 24/7 will net you less than a dollar a year at current diff, block reward and BTC price.
Even if you get free electricity, i doubt that you'd find a free PC + network equipment + ISP + power for $0 a year. As soon as you pay $10 for a new power cable or a new PC keyboard, you'll never be able to recuperate this cost by mining, hence you'll make a negative profit.
As soon as you decide to mine with an old "free" PC, do realise that you won't even come close to $1/year... It'll probably only be a small fraction of this.

Next to this, the concept of "free" power is pretty confusing. Either you're stealing power, or somebody is paying for it... Either you yourself (maybe it's calculated into your monthly rent), maybe your parents, maybe your employer,... But somebody is footing the bill, and one way or another, most of the time, the bill is passed on to you (maybe your parents make you do chores, maybe your employer sees your power consumption as part of your salary, maybe your rent gets higher after a couple of years because the landlord pays so much for his power bill,...).

Mining revenue of $1 per year? If this is true, then there is no point in doing desktop mining. I would rather purchase BTCs from some exchange site for $1, rather than wasting time and effort in mining.
Yes you can still mine bitcoins with you PC using some of the Windows based Mining software. But the returns would be negligible as Bitcoins prices have gone much higher.

Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins?
by
vips
on 21/04/2017, 06:04:10 UTC
I do agree to some of the comments and posts on this thread, the best way to invest your 0.1BTC is either through trading altcoins but it does take some time so you really need to have lots of patience for you to earn a certain amount. Then the other way to invest is through gambling; though it is the easiest way to increase your profit, it is also the riskiest way and so it might be the easiest way to lose your money too.

To invest in trade of altcoins you don't need only patience, but luck and some skills also to know which altcoin to choose, the one is more profitable and the one won't die very fast... Most of the altcoins are worthless coins that can lose price any moment, the pumps are fake and their real price is 0 or 1 satoshi... It's complicated.
I invest my bitcoins in my mattress.

Re: What is the future play of russia in venezuela?
by
vips
on 21/04/2017, 05:53:29 UTC
IMO, Russia should not get involved in Venezuela. Maduro is very unpopular right now, mostly as a result of his own blunders. Supporting Maduro in any kind would make Russia unpopular with the general population.
Should Maduro be voted out in the referendum, the law on referendums passed under the government of Hugo Chavez in 2002 establishes two scenarios for what would happen next. If the referendum takes place this year, as the opposition-controlled National Assembly wants, the country will hold early elections. If it takes place after Jan. 10, 2017, when Maduro will have exactly two years left on his term, he will be replaced by the current vice president, Aristobulo Isturiz, who would lead the country until the elections already scheduled for 2019.
This system poses a serious dilemma for both the opposition and the government. If the government draws out the referendum preparations, Chavismo will continue to dominate Venezuela. However, if Isturiz — who is considered just as incompetent and unpopular as Maduro — comes to power, this could provoke further social unrest in the country, where the population has been driven to desperation by chronic food shortages, poor health services and inflation projected to reach 480 percent by the end of the year.

The Russians have never not been a friend of America. They have always supported regimes which fought against the United States. Have you seen any changes? The only change I saw is that the Russian began to allow themselves to interfere in the internal Affairs of America. Before, I don't remember.

Russians have supported secular regimes instead of Islamic fiefdoms. Look at Syria. Bashar al Assad is the last remaining secular ruler in the entire Middle East. Russia is right in supporting him.

Yeah and Assad let's Christians live in Syria in peace... He even protects them...  Can you say that about the militants/ rebels?

The rebels are mostly hardline Islamist factions. Previously, they have even committed genocide against fellow Muslim minorities such as Alawites, Ismailis and Kurds. You can imagine what will happen to the Christians if these people come to power.
The mass hypnosis has lost its grip. Republicans+democrats+pope+el chapo+soros, all united to stop TRUMP...

What a beautiful sight...... Or if they will let him win. At all.
