Re: Why don't the rich people get addicted easily?

It doesn't matter if they are rich or poor people could still get addicted to gambling it only depends on how well they could control it and how much they could spend on it.
For me the only difference is the amount that they could risk in gambling.
They might not be addicted to the profit or gains but the feeling of winning or being a winner hitting big or something else.

They are the people who couldn't control their emotion when they are gambling, they tend to bring it out even when they are done gambling.
The rage or disappointment that they feel when they lose would be shared or felt by the one's who would be close to them after the game.

It is better to have a plan and be open about it with your partner, being married without having children should be talked between partners.
They should be on the same boat, so that the relationship wouldn't be destroyed, respect each other's decision.
There are those who knows that they still couldn't afford it so they decides to bee safe and secure their future first, and I think this is way better than having a child but couldn't properly take care and love them.

I couldn't really remember when but it started at a really young age when my siblings and I would decide on which channel would we watch by guessing the next commercial.
The first one to have a correct answer would decide on which channel should be watched.

I don't really put it on a plan but the money I spend on gambling is the extra money that is left from my previous salary.
I would only deposit every time that I received my salary and the amount would depend on how much was left from my previous salary.

Trust worthy? are we talking about scam gambling sites or gambling itself?
This isn't investment and nobody forced anyone to gamble, if they gamble and lose it was their decision from the start they shouldn't blame it on anyone else but their self.
We should be responsible for are actions and know our limits.

Re: Why the fear after lose?
by

on 14/05/2025, 17:18:10 UTC
I bet on few matches and it happens that I had few winning but unfortunately I lost it because the last game didn't play as expected as Everton FC - Ipswich Town played draw after I gave Everton to win. Though I have other line up games which I was supposed to bet but due to the lose I wasn't that having that moments to stake any further games.

The curiosity led me to come ask if this has happened to anyone before, having double mind to stake game. Something keep telling you don't stake while the other says go ahead which would you choose if you were the one? Please your response are greatly needed.
For me it is normal specially if the amount that we lose isn't a small amount or just a couple dollars.
I usually feel like staying out or laying low after losing a good amount of money, but if it is just a couple of dollars I would still continue to play or bet.

Trading is open for everyone, but it is not for all of us.
Trading needs skills and experience, it takes time to be successful from it.
And some of the traders nowadays are too lazy to analyze the market they would just go with trendy coins.

They might be similar to some aspect such as analyzing before putting up your money, in trading we have some TA and in sports betting we have those who analyze the match to understand which one have a higher chance to win.
There are also those who blindly pick ups a random bets in sports, and we also have that kind of traders who would randomly pick alt coins or those that are being hype.
But in trading we are the ones who controls our money, while in betting it would be decided by those who plays.

Re: when you say, you can't win in gambling..
by
virasisog
on 07/04/2025, 17:23:46 UTC
A lot of people here say that we can’t win in gambling, so I just want to ask - are you saying that because you’ve experienced it yourself, or is it just something you read and are repeating as a theory? It’s easy to say, but if you’re someone who doesn’t really gamble and yet insists that no one can win, isn’t that just discouraging those who are actually optimistic about winning?
If they consider their self as a gambler then they would know that we could win in gambling.
But it's just that it losing is also part of the game, we should accept that we wouldn't always have a great result.
And most gambler are aware of it, they choose to continue cause they already experience how it felt to win in gambling.

Best thing that I've done with my winnings would be when I invested it all in crypto and gain more profit later on.
I also like to enjoy my winnings through buying stuff online and eating delicious foods.
Last time I've won I bought a bicycle so that I could do something on my day off.

Re: In which situation you think you lose more?
by

on 03/04/2025, 22:13:10 UTC
There are times when we can't control our emotions - like when we're losing and become aggressive because we want to win more, or when we chase losses and make reckless moves. Neither usually ends well. How about you? Which type of gambler are you,  the kind who gets aggressive when losing, or when winning?
In the past I used to experience both of it.
Being aggressive when winning and losing, and one thing that I notice is that it would depend on the situation and my emotion.
I would be aggressive when winning when I am happy, enjoying it or having fun while gambling.
And I would try to chase my losses when I have a problem or stress.

Re: Should I wait to have a huge capital before I start trading?
by
virasisog
on 21/03/2025, 20:27:29 UTC
Hello Bitcoin talk community!
The above question is what many people who are new to trading hear, I've also been advised to start with a large sum of money which I couldn't afford then .
But looking at it now , is it really advisable to start trading with a lot f money? Or just start with whatever you can afford?
If you're just starting up it is better to only use what you could afford to lose.
It isn't really advisable for newbie's to jump in with a huge capital since they are just starting and experiencing it for the first time.
Experience is the best teacher that we could have so they would surely fail first and should learn from their mistakes.
Don't let those first mistakes be so expensive so only start with small amount till you know to yourself that you are ready enough to risk a higher amount.

You should also consider that there are so many fake projects or scams eo not all of it are worth to invest.
There are also projects that would drop down drastically after listing on exchange.
Getting early to gain bonus would be great but sometimes it isn't even worth it cause of the huge price drop.

Re: Why not just save in Bitcoin?
by

on 19/03/2025, 17:41:50 UTC
Because Bitcoin price fluctuates so the money that you would put in it could either give you a profit or lessen the actual value of your cash.
It wouldn't always be good to just put up your money in crypto specially when entering a bear market.
The timing and how long they would keep should also be considered.

Re: Who is laughing now?
by
virasisog

Attention-seekers and fantasists are getting more and more deluded with each passing day.

The number of absolute nonsense threads being created about members allegedly selling their Bitcoin while the prices were high, are increasing. I cannot understand what these people think they will achieve by imaginary bravado apart from making posts to earn their campaign and get a few merits from gullible members (and any other account if they operate them).

As for the OP, in his last 20 posts a staggering 11 of them have been applications to join signature campaigns. Unsurprisingly the address in his campaign applications he uses (bc1qkt8f56s47uhyrhruuht2dwqvyssd56pcjselwf) show no signs of trading other than campaign funds going in and out.

There were no lands that were sold for $17,000 that were then used to buy Bitcoin. None of those alleged Bitcoin were then sold for $102,000 and $105,000 later therefore that and the remainder of the story is a complete fabrication.

I am sure a story will be presented to counter this but in the end there will never ever be a signed message from an address that received $17,000 worth of Bitcoin or any signed message from an address that sold huge amounts of Bitcoin for over $102,000 and $105,000.

I was about to congratulate OP because it isn't impossible for others to do such thing in order to invest or start business.
Some people would even take a loan just to have a capital to start so it isn't new to most of us.
But I think bragging about their fantasy while pretending that it is something that really happened or part of the reality is too much.

Since you already have 20 different coins why not put the profit on a single coin like Bitcoin.
It is also good to keep it in stable coins so that you would have funds to buy back when the market drops down again.

Re: Fears of successes
by
virasisog
on 13/03/2025, 17:38:33 UTC
This has been one of the majority problem in the trading space today most average traders who already have average experience on trading mostly have this state of fears in them, In the trading space many average trader have this fear of succeeding, this  mostly happens to an average traders or business owners which   they likely say, "what if one red trade takes it all alway" they suddenly become more anxious having that fear that they might start all over again.

Most of it is caused by fear they let fear and anxiety take the best part of them which make them predict about the future's of there trades, well this mostly doesn't only happen to average traders only but average business owners to are also facing this which its called the  fear of successes.

How do i overcome this fear?

Likely i would say it very easy to overcome this fear
When it happens i likely advice, in every one month ever week choose a day off  from your phone, device's and go enjoy your self go enjoy natures, go play sports hangouts with friends love ones without ever touching your phone or laptop.
This has work out for me but yours made be in a different position it help you to recognize that there is more to life than the endless chase of money and materialism.
Why would a trader be afraid of success?
And the example you given isn't a fear to succeed but the fear to fall or experience to fail again.
This isn't new to traders every traders might have thought of this before putting on an order specially on bull market.
What if it continues to drop is something that most of us are thinking whenever we buy crypto while the market falls.
