I got Bittrex to update the ticker from SSD to TORQ which is a small victory.

It's hard to find developers when you have no budget. That's the biggest issue facing this project right now and the only thing that would help it take off and get listed on an exchange. If you know of any developers who would like to participate it would help us tremendously. Have them message Argakiig on Twitter.

Torque is looking for a developer that is familiar with BTC style code bases. The main developer got a job with Raiblocks as a core developer and wont have much time to work on Torque. There's no budget for Torque ATM but if you would like to get your feet wet as a new developer while also networking with a core developer for Raiblocks then this is your opportunity. Especially now after that massive crash and all the damage that bitconnect caused. People need to start looking at how centralized these exchanges are. They are the weak point in cryptocurrency.

I think the main thing right now is to get a wallet and a website up and running. No point in getting listed on an exchange of people can't withdraw to a wallet. Right now we're in a bear market anyway so it's not like it's going to draw alot of investors. The market shook out alot of dumb money and people looking to get rich quick. Time to refocus on blockchain utility instead of gains and Torque has utility in the privacy market. I wouldn't want to see it become just another pump and dump like bittconnect. Quality over quantity imo.

At some point yes but Argakiig is only one person and can only work on it when he's not working irl. If we had more developers then it would go faster. He was able to get access to one of the Twitter pages and update the name. I think he may work on the wallet next. Can't really list on an exchange when we're not prepared. I created a Reddit page, a Telegram page and a Slack group. All of which are way better places than this website.

I made a Telegram forum for Torque https://t.me/joinchat/HJbZQxK0lckRE9A_jv_zjQ Supposedly its a requirement to have one if you plan on applying to certain exchanges. The idea is to have 1000 or more people on your telegram page so well see how things go from here and once things are fully re branded and any development that needed done is done we can push for more users.

r/cryptocurrency has been cracking down on "shilling" posts recently. There were tons of posts each day pushing a coin so I guess the moderators got tired of it and added new rules. Right now the best way to get a post about your coin in top of the day would be through a reference on NBC money or an ad in the Wall Street journal. My suggestion would be to pay for an ad in a notable location, maybe something to do with the Superbowl and then have someone post a link to r/cryptocurrency.

I'm thoroughly impressed!!!! This coin will have a market cap over $1 billion for sure and I truly believe a price around $20 to $30.

When the website and wallets are up with the new Branding we will need to get added to an exchange and then it's a matter of spreading the word. I'm sure we all can help with that. Arg also needs to create a new Twitter account for Torque. It's a big undertaking but slow and steady wins the race.

I think I'm more interested to see if we can adopt the raiblocks block-lattice to be honest. This past month has been price point mania and getting back to the technology is part of my cryto new years resolution.
