Re: Is this good for bounty checks?
by

Yes it is on the surface, but even with all these projects can still fail. Haven't you heard of projects with solid team(s) that raised money only to exit due to their projections not panning out as planned etc?. However you're on the right track with that list, I would add website (web presence), domain registration/expiration dates(these little info tells me alot about their desires to be around for the longterm) too.

Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread
by

I see Nigeria knocking out South Africa tomorrow, the South African team has not actually sparked in this year's African nations cup and had to qualify as best losers in there group and although they IMO deserve their win against Egypt which they played well in the first half but went low in the second half. But the Nigerian team has picked up after an embarrassing defeat against Madagascar made things up with a hard fought victory again defending champions Cameroon. While Senegal should not take things lightly because the Benin Republic team can strike them is they relent but I think Senegal would move passed them to the next round.
What are your predictions

Here goes my predictions, Senegal will send benin republic back home, the Nigerian game with South Africa will be a bit dicey but Nigeria to win with 1 or 2 goals and the last two games between ivory coast & Algeria / Madagascar & Tunisia, the will be an upset in one(so if you're placing a bet, I suggest you be careful). So let's Sit back and see how things unfold.

Re: Is regulation good or bad?

It's two sided, regulation looks good from one side and bad from another. Yes regulation with regards to containing all these raging scammers that abound in the crypto space is good, especially bringing down the hammer on those who's aims are to fleece investors however having this regulation can easily bring other "negatives" and as a community we must all weigh the consequence(s) of our collective decision(s).

I hate to admit it bro but a change of attitude is long overdue. The present attitude of some BM's can be likened to that of feudal lords and we the bounty hunters their subjects which they can treat and push around as they like. However, you must make conscious effort to join only projects/bounties you are able to stomach their rules.

I dunno about other folks but i'm a lover of good customer care and I believe every business establishment must have a standby customer care attendant ready to attend to customers need(s) 24/7. Also, an easy to use website (that  loads fast on mobile phones not just pc), instant withdrawal without having to go through hoops and ofcourse great odds with cashout option during live games. This is all I want

This crypto world is full of uncertainties not just life. Most times I take a look at my wallet and I begin to wonder how I arrived having so many worthless shitcoins around. A few have spung back to life but most are totally worthless especially those gotten from bounties and airdrops that ended up doing an exit scam. Thus the answer is because it's worthless. Re: Casinos can use AI to get additional edge?
by
virtualx
on 08/07/2019, 18:00:23 UTC
I don't think they need any more AI to get money from gamblers or for them to get additional edge because as we all know casinos will really get profits in the long run depending on the number of times the gambler play. The longer a gambler play the higher chance that gambler will lose, imagine how many gambler's play everyday, with casinos house edges they don't need to cheat or do anything because in the long run they will win.

Exactly my thoughts and I see no need to bring in A.i. For an advantage because the house always wins most often. Imagine a regular gambler going up against an A.i knowing at every turn he Wil be beaten or will loose. It won't be great for the industry's overall progress because many will backoff totally.

As it stands right now in the tournament, I believe the cup is up for grabs with the exit of egypt, cameroun and Morocco former powerhouses of African football, though we still have nigeria and Algeria. Funny enough, teams like Madagascar previously unheard of are swelling in confidence and may create upsets. So be careful with your bets.

Season 8 of game of thrones is the biggest disappointment of my life
Not a fan of GOT, just watch a few episodes when it was in its early days, (Season 1). But reading how it ended, even casual fans like me will say that it's really disappointed how it ended, how some characters die. I just the white walker was really trying to save everyone during its last episode, lol.And he is not actually the villain but the hero.  Grin

Tried watching it from season 1 to 4 had to abandon it. At a point, the hype was so much I thought I was missing out on life itself but greatful it ended in an anticlimax...atleast i can still feel alive.hahaha Tongue

I don't believe there is any money to be made off dead cryoto's, infact you should be better off investing in living projects, things that won't give you hbp or a reason to visit the doctor . Let's say you decide to take up a dead project like bitflux, doctailor, velix ID, sleekplay etc do you realize the sheer amount of time, effort and cash you will need?. I implore you to look to the future and let the past be.

Telegram seems to have overtaken Instagram as the favorite spot for scammers and crooks. He obviously blocked you immediately he knew you where not falling for his cheap scammy pranks.

I wish you where able to remember the name or grab the screnshot for us here. Atleast as a domainer, I would have checked the age of the site and it's records(including registrants name i.e if he's not behind some privacy guard).

Yes handing over KYC which information about yourself is a contentious issue. However you do not expect bounty managers to go through same processes like you because they are already known and it's for that very reason they are handling the project coordination and management instead of you .

However I understand your pains as a fellow bounty hunter. Invariably it's left for you to do such projects or not.

Re: Need partner to bet with
by

on 07/07/2019, 08:52:04 UTC
i need partner who has an account in bet365 or planetofbets who is able to bet no less than 0.1 btc for some chosen matchs of foot-ball with higher odd 1.7 to 2.00  . for each bet he must give me 40% of the gain . i am expert in foot. only serious people plz

Ok and if we get a loss then ? Who will be responsible then ?
This is an easy and old way of scamming whereby one do not have to invest and risk any money. If you win the bet, you will get share in the profit and if you lose the bet, the person loses his money and the one who gave advice has nothing to lose.
Moreover football/soccer are the hardest bets because they attract the most people and bookmakers study them the most carefully.

Yes you are right, soccer attracts huge amounts of people. But I don't believe it's too hard to make a killing with it. Personally many people loose money when the play all sorts of niches hoping it goes their way.

Personally I bet only on corner kicks, I pick up teams that are attacking in nature and play over 6.5 or 7.5 corners, I careless about who wins the game  Cheesy

He should get a partner or someone he can collaborate with around his city because here on Bitcointalk we are weary of being scammed etc.

Re: IS there any ICO rating websites we can trust.
by

on 06/07/2019, 17:47:04 UTC
Initially when I was a newbie in the crypto space, I relied so much on their so called expert advice whenever I wanted to invest, but I have been dealt with severely and I experienced my greatest lost when I invested in doctailor by following their ridiculous ratings. It was after my sad episode that I came to the realization that most, if not all ratings are paid for by these project organizers.

For now I, I will say go up on icobench, look around but do your own indepth analysis and due diligence.

Frank Lampard is the new Chelsea manager: https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC/status/1146697129328545792

I think he was the only manager willing to accept the job while not being to make any signings, so it's not like Chelsea had no other choice but to offer him a contract...IMO he won't last too long, looking forward to see who gets the sack first: him or Solskjaer.

LOL

Yeah, I think Solksjaer will get sacked first, possibly around Xmas/New Year. Lampard MIGHT get 1 season without being judged because they can’t sign anybody. If Lampard gets top 4 then I think Abramovich will accept that considering they lost Hazard & are unable to sign players.

Do either of you wanna make a fun bet on who gets the sack first?  I'll go with Lampard.  10 bucks.  Smiley  And it should literally be who gets the sack first even if it lasts multiple seasons.

You will surely lose.
Lampard has the full support of the board a they recognize that he came to help the club in a difficult situation because nobody other manager was willing to come to Chelsea without the option of signing players.

Yes you are right, the board recognizes the difficult position they are in but every coach has the support of the club and management when they are initially recruited. However alot is against him and with hazard leaving & lampards relative lack of coaching experience I doubt he will be with Chelsea more than a season. Maybe, just maybe a season and a half.

Also let's say by a miracle he makes top 4,that doesn't mean he can't be sacked. It will just add more days to his stay at Chelsea. I wish him the best though.

Re: From Janitor to Millionaire
by
virtualx
on 06/07/2019, 11:20:53 UTC
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/

I am a born gambler and I understand what Vito said. Buying tickets to dream is what we do. I have this writing above the head of my bed - "impossible is nothing" and it pushes me to keep trying. Many are saying gambling is bad but what is bad is alcoholism, addiction to drugs not gambling.

You've got to be confident enough to win big like Vito. However I do hope he manages the funds he has made well and should be wary of parasites - the very people that will cast aspersions on you when you're gambling will still turn back to beg for cash.

Re: Did we actually really land on moon?
by
virtualx
on 06/07/2019, 07:49:17 UTC
What makes me believe it the most is the fact that the moon landing was a race between several countries, biggest countries at the time and somehow conspirators think the USA was able to fake it in such a way that they fooled entire nations to believe them? And somehow now years later some youtube idiots were able to find out? Seems quite improbable.

Very true. The race then was between Russia and the USA. I believe Kennedy was the president back then, when the Russians sent Yuri Garin to space. In Kennedy's desire to show the world that America wasn't lagging behind either , I believe that's how the conspiracy theory came about. Because nobody had envisaged a moon landing so early in the race.

Re: Stop badmouthing new projects
by
virtualx
on 06/07/2019, 07:28:40 UTC
I understand where you're coming from being an investor myself in a project that is currently misbehaving since last year. These new projects are the cause of their own bad mouthing. Before launching, they will promise heaven on earth and all sorts of things, only to run short of those promises and you start seeing a pattern develop. Besides  you don't expect us to form the ostrich behavior of I don't care because some of us have scars to show from projects that ended up scamming us.

The thing is that people tend to speak against new projects which may rise in the business of cryptocurrency instead of supporting these new projects through encouragement. Sometimes they do this as a result of their past experience and I don't blame them for that.

Past experiences that tell them which one is crap or not. Because if you are already an old timer in a specific industry, you already know which one is heading to be a good one and which ones are deemed to fail. You can always see individuals who are badmouthing projects but in the end, it is all up to the project if they will be affected of those critics or not. If they have something to offer to the community, those bad words will not matter at all.

Your last statement caps it all up. If they have got a solid base, a truthful management(note:some come at you with half-truths to keep you hooked consistently) they will rise above any amount of words thrown at them.
