Devs: Can you integrate 2FA in wallet? In the last weeks i heard about several cases of wallet stealer and i could investigate that it's very easy to code that sh*t (if you remember, it was the infected sgminer on sgminerwindows.com which was also linked at blackcoinpool.com). This compared with keylogger when i type in my password for staking would be able to steal all coins.

I was not infected because i have no wallets on my mining rig but i created new wallets for all of my coins! I know that i'm responsible myself for computer security, but have you some plan to improve the encryption function? Thank you! :-)

2fa requires a server that sends the authentication keys.. thats not in the scope of the wallet so as far as the source that rat4 is working on, this won't happen. You could pay some developers to make a 3rd party wallet that uses this server type approach. I would prefer not using it though (even though I like the idea of 2fa).

Hi maarx. I think it can be done and end the keylogger madness... see your msg;)

... I have my own job to keep my family feed and warm and at the same time donating free time to make Blackcoin awesome...
I understand you want more developments done asap but software development is not easy! It took 1 mother to deliver a baby in 10 months but 10 mothers cannot deliver a baby in 1 month.
...

So you have a family to feed and you do not know that it takes 9 months to deliver a baby... LOL

9 and half month. I rounded it to 10... lol

I am one of the external developer working on a few exciting things around Blackcoin. I have my own job to keep my family feed and warm and at the same time donating free time to make Blackcoin awesome.

I am in the IT field for more than 14 years, there are far far few developers who have the level of skill of rat4 and Dzimbeck. For such a new coin like us we are too young to attract top minds with just the money. Plus we don’t really have that much money. I remember Soepkip once mentioned the foundation only have around 24BTC donation. That’s around 15K USD. To be able to hire a good coder at rat4 level you will need at least 150K USD. We don’t have that much right now. This is what we have to deal with.

[PRE-ANN] BitHalo/BlackHalo –

BitHalo/BlackHalo

The "more RAM is needed" thing is pure unfounded bullshit.
If someone is only interested in mining scrypt or vertcoin (At its current N factor), I will say you are correct.  Vertoin's N factor will eventually change (at the same pace as glaciers move - across land)

On other coins, that increment their N factor regularly, some are up to N=14.  If you get more than 2 cards that run 4GB each, you'll want to have 8 GB system ram.  The miner software has to allocate the scrypt buffer in system memory to start, and allocating a 3.5 GB buffer for 3, 4, or 6  cards just doesn't fit into 4 GB of RAM.
I just fired up 5x R9 290 cards at N=12,13, and 14, with 4GB of system memory for several minutes at each N.  Seemed to compile/load the kernel and hash fine.  This might not be the case on windows, mind you - I run a custom gentoo install on all my rigs.

Just interest to know. Is your Linux 64bit? My BAMT (32bit) on 4GB memory just shows me less than 2.6GB available.
what is your "cat /proc/meminfo"?  Thank you.
