Re: when will segwit be ready
by
vlamer
on 24/05/2016, 12:59:29 UTC
bump.

is it ready yet?
It is still being reviewed. It's going a bit slowly. The code exists, the PR has been submitted, and AFAIK, it works. However, people are still reviewing it to make sure that there are no bugs and that it is optimized.

AFAIK?

exactly the problem with Core communication, the road map outdated,
(I see your trying to help, but)
Everyone knows afaik, and thinks it works, but no one seems to know wtf is really happening or going to happen or when.

Is that, in some part, because segwit will have no effect on "block space" for many months to come.
Whilst natural "user adoption" should continue to rise.
mempool could gridlock, leading to a stupid pointless fees bubble and long delays.
Bitcoin adoption stalled or permanently damaged.
Core should answer this question clearly,

Will it be "many" months, best case, before segwit has any noticeable effect on block space? (or longer, if ever)

I think I know.

Well, maybe Segwit part of the process towards Bitcoin 1.0 ..

Uh, yes.  If you came from google to do translations you could have googled "bitcoin decentralized" and find a wealth of information to this basic question.  Huh

I wouldn't stress. Just be prepared to wait a while.
You're a legendary, you should know this.

The transaction will either go through or bounce back, unless you keep rebroadcasting it, in which case will cause it to get trapped in the menpool (limbo) until it gets a confirmation. Which could also very well be never.

I just resent it, I don't think it was ever going to send, was just curious to what others thought.

LEGENDARY KILL !! lol. (sorry league popped into my head)
of course you know the procedure ..
are you playing with newbie? childish. (that into my head too)

We could say that the major centralization aspect is happening in China because most of BTC trading and mining is happening there. That does not make bitcoin centralized but it could be considered by some as some sort of centralization.
yes ,that is realistic ,but i'm not talking about circulation of Bitcoin.
my point is something fundamental about Bitcoin, and i don't think this question is only can answered by Satoshi  Smiley

Everthing about bitcoin is decentralized. No one or nobody controls or decides for bitcoin, neither the government. Whatever happen happens for bitcoin.
yes you are right, that is your mind .. so you can free with that ..

Uwh ,somothing like that,so is unity there.. I hear it can make us do not need a third party ?
Sorry, but your question is incomprehensible.

The way that Bitcoin is designed makes it so that you do not need to depend on any other party to do things and that, in theory, you can take matters into your own hands if you don't like something.
yes that is incomprehensible,I was wrong in typo.
for what i don't like something like Decentralized system.so if Bitcoin still designed  like that is Bitcoin still Decentralized ?

I have some question although I have learned I always go back to newbie and rotates around over there.and now this is my question :
What does it mean by Bitcoin is Decentralization ,is decentralization only in working system along payment system or all about Bitcoin is decentralization ?

very thanks for answer..

regards ,
Your question is hard to understand. What are you trying to ask? Are you asking what is decentralized about Bitcoin? If so, then the answer is everything. Everything about Bitcoin is decentralized as there is no central body which issues Bitcoin and adds to the blockchain. It is entirely peer to peer and does not rely on any one server(s) to do anything.
thanks, btw I changed the use of wrong word ,google does not always give the correct word.
that only  p2p system makes Bitcoin decentralized ?
The p2p system and the proof of work system are the primary aspects of Bitcoin's decentralization. P2p make it so that no block or transaction must originate from a central controlling server. The proof of work system makes it so that each node will only accept blocks that prove an amount of work was done.
Uwh ,something like that, there is unity .. I hear it can make us do not need a third party ?

EDIT: my grammar too  Lips sealed

Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc?
by
vlamer
on 18/05/2016, 22:13:48 UTC
If you can hack the bitcoin network it means that you will have more than 1,000BTC and you will be the richest one, simply impossible even to think.

He's just trolling.
He wants to hire someone to hack the network & wants them to give him 950BTC after the hack & keep 50BTC for themselves. Lol

Some stupid indian troll, who doesn`t know anything about bitcoin just posting random stuff.

Why do we have to duscuss this?

Totally pointless.
because someone need to help ,we must discussion about mental disorders and doing some research or give motivation that him not to give up ..  Grin

Somebody was complaining someday about how long does it takes for his transaction to confirm.
As a reply, someone said "ask a miner to include your transaction into blockchain".
Is this possible ?

Today I have the same issue, there is this transaction with 0 fee that won't confirm :

https://blockchain.info/tx/7a0aea7c3ab870dac6fd287134f0435d96a1532a5acfa1a91c219f3e0288a4ee

Is there any way I get it to confirm ?

Ok burtw lol how would you suggest I go about emailing Bc.i with this info about being 2xpubs for the one seed so this infact is a bug or an error on there side ?

And vlamer what do I need to show you to prove it lol I feel as if everything is there I wouldn't come on here and waste peoples time including yourself I've bugged the life out the guy I buy from  he's helped me  as much as he can . I've sent multiple messages to bc.i support  to be ignored and I've done everything I think everyone here has asked me to do . I'm not lying what would there be for me to gain out of talking shit ?
This is not to not believe what you say, this is just to get clarity on what happens.
because the bc.i did not respond so you do not have a companion in this case., and I also have an account there with HD features on the new wallet and I also use a version of the smartphone wallet, and looks fine so far .

Ok, BurtW not accept it.
you just have to wait for a response from bc.i .. or someone else will be able to help you further.

I am also sure I made a brand new wallet for te transaction

Burtw doesn't want the login details iv already gave them to my seller as at first I think he thought I was talking shit I changed pw after
i think password in bc.i can not be changed.
