Re: You should never doubt on bitcoin investment!

Well if you do your own research and buy Bitcoins from an exchange like Coinbase then I think if you hold till the price go up, you will win (assuming that you are a long term investor). However, if you are referring to a Bitcoin investment where you give your fiat currency and some person or group manage your investment saying that they have invested the amount in BTC and will give a high return on your investment, I would be extra auspicious as well as cautious when putting my money! Be careful and do your due diligence before investing your hard earned money.

Re: Bitcoin in Iran touch 26.000 USD

I think this is incorrect something to do with an exchange error in Iranian currency (Iranian Rial ) and BTC value. Anyways I assume that the price of BTC has to be somewhat higher because of the adverse restrictions in Iran. Hopefully this error in exchanges will be rectified soon.

Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold??
by

on 19/09/2018, 14:34:30 UTC
It will be determined by the concept of supply and demand. The scarcity of bitcoins (only about 21 million coins) and its increase usage (for example blockchain technology)
will make the price of BTC to go up. Currently, BTC is at a dip or going down which make sense after a huge correction, but I am very optimistic about its price going up in the coming years and for sure BTC will become digital gold in the future. I believe this is a good time for people to buy and hold BTC for a future gain. All the best.

Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS
by

I love them too! People who jump into crypto just to make a quick buck usually end up panic selling when the market is going down in the short term price movement. This is normal, I have seen this many times. People who are knowledgeable and patient will win at the end. The norm of the game would be to hold on to your dear Bitcoins and other altcoins when the market is going down and if possible buy more during that time and wait for the next bull run to sell the coins/tokens at a profit.

Re: China plans closing Bitcoin mining.
by

on 19/09/2018, 00:52:14 UTC
I think its not profitable anymore to mine Bitcoins! With increasing difficulty in mining and higher labor and electricity cost this makes more harder to get a profit. The downward trend in the Bitcoin price also adversely effect profit earning in Bitcoin mining. So even if China closes Bitcoin mining I think its okay, if the investors still wants to mine they can move elsewhere. Maybe a country like Venezuela where electricity costs are extremely cheap.

Re: Too many exchanges?
by

Yes, I agree there are two many exchanges and some of the are saying that they are centralized and other decentralized. Most of them to my knowledge are simply scams and unfortunately some ICOs are boasting that their coin will get listed soon and give the investors an exchange that has no credibility and never heard of. This is too much and I believe it is detrimental for the future of cryptocurrencies and ICOs. The blossoming of so many exchanges irrespective if they are centralized or decentralized should be controlled and monitored.

Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin..

I actually have a Youtbe channel that talks about Bitcoins, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology in simply, laymen's terms. And the way people are subscribing my channel, I believe I am doing something right. As a teacher, I have experienced a picture or figures based approach works very well in introducing new and complex concept. I Since there's lot of multimedia tools I used them in my clips to explain cryptocurrencies, there operation and what we can do with them. If I don't have access to them then I just try to relate the concept to well known examples that everyone knows. From the people I have explained these concepts everyone seems to get it.

Re: Bitcoin (BTC) down $200
by
vnck25
on 18/09/2018, 17:06:59 UTC
I think its possible. If you have invested heavily on Bitcoins when it was at a high price, then this would be disastrous! However, I am a firm believer of the market cycle that can be seen in every investment instrument. According to the market cycle we are just seen a huge correction in terms of the BTC price. So if the price goes down to $200 I think you should buy, because it a really bargain price. So when price goes down hold on to your current coins and buy more at a lower price.

Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency?
by
vnck25
on 17/09/2018, 23:39:29 UTC
I think more regulations will be good in the long run. Sometime due to the lack of strong regulations many come into crytocurrencies with bad intentions and in the process harm many people who are genuinely interested in cryptos as well as blockchain technology. This is detrimental to the future of cryptocurrencies because governments and other authorities who are mainly in the traditional financial industry can use it to ban or severely block spreading of cryptocurrencies among the general public. Thus having strong, extensive regulations at the onset is a good thing in the long run of this valuable asset!

I firmly believe that your friend is right. The value of a car as soon its purchase will depreciate. However, from what I know and what people are saying the value of Bitcoins will grown in an average way (that is there will be numerous bull runs as well as huge corrections, but in general the price will go up), thus you friend would gain in the long term, I think he is on the right track. All the best for him!

Re: Psychological fear dominates the market
by

on 12/09/2018, 18:57:41 UTC
This is because many people have entered the cryptocurrency arena to make quick money, to become rich in quick time without investing time to actually understand the core principles of investing and  concepts behind cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. This is why there is lots of negative talk and fear among many players in the field. But people who know that after a huge rally there's definitely a downward trend and a consolidation period will take this opportunity to collect more cryptocurrencies at a bargain price. The people who lacks the information will leave the stage.

I think this is very good news for bitcoins as well as other cryptocurrencies. The future is obviously bright for cryptos and blockchain technology. But since the current trend is not that good in view of cryptocurrency investments, many people are speculating that this is the end of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. This is far from the truth and the post that you share is just one of many use cases that we see that are being done with bitcoins (or other cryptos).

Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin

Do you have any Internet links to this news? Where did you read it?
As I stated in the forum, I am very optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Currently bitcoin and other altcoins are going through a consolidation period, but after a huge rally and a huge correction, this is expected. But the fact of the matter (as this news states) is that people and major players in technology, business, banking, etc are interested in Bitcoins, cryptocurrencies and the blockchain, so exciting things will happen in the near future.

Re: Bitcoin Market is down.
by

on 12/09/2018, 18:36:58 UTC
Thank you for sharing this information. Yes, the bitcoin market is down but I think this trend is normal to any market. It is called the market cycle and obviously after the huge run up to $20,000 back in December 2017, bitcoin has take a huge correction and currently in a consolidation period. I am sure that with a solid technology like blockchain technology behind it bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies will never die out. They will rise again to reach newer heights. As we investors we need to understand the inherent nature of how these volatile entities behave and hold on till the next bull run takes place.
