Do you really think Vcash has a future?
Because going from 1.90 € to 0.80 € that sucks: /

Oh yes definitely, this is just the beginning. Vcash has the technical advantage over most cryptocurrencies. And plus the vcash community has been through worse. In the near term, sure it kinda sux the price decreased but it great for new buyers. I don’t know about you but I like to buy a coin after a major pump. Considering XVCs long-term low-inflation supply. Personally im optimistic about the medium to long term future.

Please post the altcoins and tokens, that in your opinion are best for investing now days. Please do not post ICO's! Only altcoins and tokens already available on exchanges for trade! Thank You!

My pick is Vcash XVC simply because it’s fast and fungible. Engineered for high-performance and long-term stability. Vcash is a low-inflation currency with a total supply of 30.7 million XVC. Current PoW reward is 1.084954 XVC and PoS is fix at 0.7%. All transaction fees are burned making Vcash more valuable. Check
it out their new website at www.vcash.info.

Will POLO be part of this?

Short answer: Nobody really knows. Long ans: Nobody to my knowledge has gotten past tier 1 support. So a lotta folks in the vcash community have submitted support tickets. It’s been recommend by others to submit a support tickets to polo. Requesting polo to enable their XVC exchange wallet. Perhaps if enough of us submit tickets, polo might be inclined to unlock their XVC wallet. It’s the best advice I’ve heard so far. Hope that helps.

is this the announcement dev mentioned?

Nah, he’s referencing about something else. He is not talking about recent announcements. The recent announcements include new website launch and Coinomi wallet support for android. The new website suggests there’s gonna be a future iOS mobile wallet. So lots cool things coming down the pipeline.  Smiley

Could you give us any Linkedin profiles of your devs?

Sorry but I don't think the devs have posted their profiles as of yet. I'm not sure if they plan to or not. You could get in contact the devs and ask.

If they like, the vcash devs are open to collaboration. The project is called openvcash on github.

Interesting.

What is actually happening and who has taken over, if there was a takeover at all?

#crysx

For now, the devs are updating wallets and working on the roadmap. After jc's departure, original long-time vcash community members aided in the project's unexpected transition. So far the devs are doing some really good work. The community also set up a developer fund to support further development.

Re: Going to buy 6 coins, want advice

Hey, I want to buy six coins. GNT, BAT, CVC, SYS, STORJ and WINGS. I have few questions. Im going to buy them all through coinbase/bittrex but my question is where should I store them? Also would anyone advice me to NOT buy any of the coins? Thanks

I recommend adding some XVC to your portfolio. Vcash has the one of the most advanced technical features of most crypto-currency projects. XVC features instant Zerotime transactions, adaptive block sizes, anon txs, privacy etc

Vcash XVC is now available on Coinomi’s Android Wallet!

Coinomi has announced that XVC is now available on their android altcoin wallet. https://twitter.com/coinomiwallet/status/921406977183485952

Android users now will be able to send, receive and store XVC on their mobile devices. This particularly exciting because vcash can be used without being tied to a desktop! Mobile capability has been a feature many vcash fans have been waiting for. Great job vcash community! Thanks Coinomi for the support! :-)

If you’re not familiar with vcash you can watch a features overview here-> https://youtu.be/gPne3KRAsZo or visit vcash.info.

Good day, where I can find mobile wallet for iOS if it exists?

Hello,

Sorry no iOS wallet mobile app as of yet but vcash is compatible and optimized for potential future lite mobile wallets. Coinomi is supposedly adding support for vcash for their android multi-coin app some time in the future. The original dev almost released an iOS (ZeroLedger) decentralized lite mobile wallet app https://youtu.be/k3trk9j0ED4. Unfortunately the the ZL app was never deployed (huge bummer Cry ) but as least we know vcash supports lite decentralized mobile wallets out of the box.  Smiley

Re: Full list of anonymous coins
by

Add Vcash to the list:

XVC was engineered from the ground up for privacy features to prevent eavesdropping and censorship with encrypted 3-tier network and random ports use for nodes.
From white paper:
Quote
3. Encryption
All TCP network connections are secured using the Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) Cipher Suites for Transport Layer Security (TLS)[1]. All UDP communications are encrypted using the Stream Cipher HC-256[3]. This prevents data mining, eavesdropping, censorship, traffic shaping and Deep Packet Inspection(DPI)[7].
4. Randomports
Random ports are used as to not advertise to the world that we are operating a cryptographic currency node.

Vcash also supports an optional anon ‘blended’ transactions with breakthrough tech Chainblender. Chainblender allows users to send instant private transactions without blockchain bloat.

Vcash sports Proof of work at 0.7% per year. Low inflation and 5 digit coin supply. Worth checking imo.

Hi there,

I’d take a look at xvc vcash which has chainblender for private txs. Vcash also has instant txs, adaptive block size and more.

...and the PoS rate is 0.7%   Cheesy

Yes.  Once POW rewards decrease to 1 per block total, about 1% (less as supply increases) will be to miners and incentive nodes.  0.7% will be to stakers, assuming all coins are staked.  Transaction fees are burned so if Vcash starts getting used much more, inflation could be very low.

In contrast to other popular projects coin/token supply is sometimes virtually unlimited or in the billions. I have always thought it was nice vcash has a reasonable supply and sensible inflation rates.

Hello friends!

Is this coin (algo) ASIC-proof?
Hi there!

The algorithm was changed from whirlpool to Blake-256 a while ago for asic/fpga resistance. As the proof of work reward steadily declines I think asics/fpgas will become less of an issue for vcash.

For some coins yeah, you’re late. I don’t bother with most coins.

However their are couple of coins worth checking out:

Vericoin, Vcash and NEM are probably the most capable of real use imho. Both VRC and XVC are around the same price atm.  Finding competent projects with demonstratable tech is hard to come by in a sea of scams. Good luck.
