Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.1 Now Available! Fixes latest SSL vulnerability

Hi guys!!!

Time for an update on the sponsorship for the jaguar rescue center project.
First of all…the community collected 100 000 EAC for the center.
A few months ago, these 100 000 EAC were a nice amount of money, about 400$ at some point.
Unfortunately, EAC went through some rough times and today these 100 000 EAC are worth about 1,3$...
The most important thing though, is that every donated EAC is a sign of a  warm hearted community!!!

So, what’s next? Our plans did not change because of this! We will still support EAC, as promised!
We leave for Costa Rica, the 5th of september and will be working as volunteers in the Jaguar Rescue Center for 1 month.
We will be wearing EAC t-shirts during our work with the animals and post some of these movies on youtube.
Afterwards, we can use the material to make a promotional film or something like that!
We will also post pictures and movies in the main forum on bitcointalk.
I’m also open for new ideas in order to promote EAC!

Hi guys

Sorry for the long period of inactivity…

14 more weeks and we are leaving to Costa Rica to work in the Jaguar Rescue Center!

I am working on some shirts, so I can wear them while working with the animals.

We have many American tourists visiting the center, so it will be good exposure.

I also will blog about our adventures in the Jaguar Rescue Center.

If anyone has some other great ideas, please let us know, and we will see what we can do.

Regards

Darkcoin will hit 3$ (at least) by the end of this week!
by

Darkcoin has raised +130% during the last 24H, and this is only the beginning!
This is the greatest coin that came out during the last weeks, and has only upwards potential.

1. Phase 1 of Darksend Technology is over, DEV's are working to fix the problems they encountered.
2. Kimono Gravity Well implemented
3. NO PREMINE
4. ASIC resistant
5. 84 million coins max!
6. Healthy block reward halving --> 1 year
7. Not on big exchanges yet!

I love this coin, and I foresee a great future for this one!

yes, I have a firewall

ok, so can you try with it off?

Ok, I turned off both firewalls (windows and avast) but still the same message...
Any Idea?

You're running the bat file not the exe, right? Its not picking up your parameters.

I feel so stupid...this is my first mining experience...
It's working now... I have 186.41KH/s...not much I believe?

Can I expect some coins with this low Kh/s?

Regards and thanks!!!

Hi

I would like to mine this coin, but I cant get it to work... Undecided
I downloaded the wallet.
I downloaded the minerd.exe file
I made a worker on http://pool.darkcoin.io
I changed the a.bat file to minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://pool.darkcoin.io:3333 -u workerusername -p password
with my worker id and password.
It wont work, and I get this message...
What am i doing wrong?

Re: Why is Earthcoin so undervalued?
by

Earthcoin never had anything going for it and I'd go so far as to say, was a scam. The foundation is a joke obviously thrown together to deceive hapless goodniks. Take a look at it over at www.earthcoin.biz - the projects are really micky mouse, and above all- the sort where it would be unprovable as to how much support they actually do send.  Roll Eyes

You could not be more wrong than this...
The Jaguar rescue center project was started by myself, and I can asure you that all the earthcoins that are raised for this project will find their way to the owners of the center!

Me and my wife worked there last year as volunteers, and we wantend to do something extra for them.
I could convince the owners of the center to accept earthcoins for donations...

The earthcoin community raised already more than 112000 eac for the center.
Every single donation was made by members of the community...
Thats exactly why I hope EAC will be worth something in a few months, so they can have a couple of hundred dollars extra for their center!

We will hand them over the cheque when we go back in september.

For the non-believers, please check our earthcointalk project and the Jaguar rescue center website!

i've got some EAC as long-shot investment but honestly the coin it isnt that innovative, just had a really well marketed launch.

I agree on that, the coin isn't the most innovative.
But I believe what's most important is the community + the fact that you can actually buy something with your coins.
This is where EAC will succeed I believe...
Your coin might be as innovative as you want, but if no one is able to use it, or to convert it to usd and back, it's only a submedium to BTC in my opinion.

The EAC devs and community are working very hard to get these things done.
Earthazaar, where you can actualy buy things with your EAC, and Incryptex where you can buy EAC with dollars, or trade your EAC for dollars.

The android wallet, earthcoin foundations and all other good things that are coming are well needed extra's!

Because Earthcoin requires 1 million dollars per day to maintain a stable price. Ain't happening.

I don't know where you get those numbers...?
@ the current price, you need 10,080$ to maintain the value.

Dogecoin for example, needs 864,000$ to maintain the current value.

Even @800 sat EAC would only cost 70,560$ to maintain that value.

If you give us information, please make sure you give correct information.

Also add http://www.earthcoingear.com to the list of websites. Earthcoin T-shirts and hats in stock and ready to ship!

Wonderfull!
It would be great if the owner(s) of the shop could donate some shirts and two caps for our volunteering project!
We would be very glad to wear them during our volunteering work @ the jaguar rescue center, in september!

We are also planning some other (local=belgium) events to raise some extra money for the center.
The same applies here, we could wear them and post some pictures of the event!
