Re: ETH vs EOS vs NEO vs MOAC vs ICON vs ADA
by

in my opinion we should not believe in just one reference, try to examine more about Ethereum which has developed far to date with more updated and reliable references.

That's my point exactly. I think the chart is a little biased. When you actually deep dive into these projects, you'll see they have a lot in common and some differences as well. One thing I like categorizing blockchain platforms are the adoption rate and number of users. Which in this case would be EOS and ETH. from what I know, MOAC was launched in 2017 and the mainnet going live earlier this year

Biased or not, I think it does bring to light the competition. I know MOAC launched mainnet and launched their first dapp. I also know that they have a very strong presence in china

if we can get infrastructure together with dapp platforms like moac and then mix it in with securities. we have gold imo

Couldn't agree more. 2019 will be the year of adoption and building. I think MOAC has a good chance since they have such a strong presence in china

funny to see that not a lot of people voted. could it be that there's a huge onslaught of stablecoins in the market? How can we tell good stablecoins like ampleforth from terrible ones like tether?

Re: Top 100 crypto (MOAC) partners with securities platform
by

This is interesting news. But time will tell what will come out of this partnership. I am very skeptical of the partnership agreement in the cryptocurrency world, because:
1. This may be a common deception and no real partnership is concluded.
2. Very often it is not indicated what is the essence of the partnership. Maybe one company provides other services to clean the toilets)
3. The initial stage of concluding a partnership does not show its success in the future

Agreed, but they had a good read about it here: https://coinrivet.com/rac-links-up-with-moac-foundation/

IMO this seems pretty legit. No one really dives into securities very lightly

Re: The rise and fall of stablecoins

In this bear market, stablecoins have been on fire. With the recent news of basis going down, what does everyone think of stablecoins? Curious as to what you guys think about Ampleforth (aka Fragments aka Basis's competitor) and their model too.

I'm pretty bullish on stablecoins in general  Cheesy
Those stable coins that are now on the market are very popular, but every day the investor is looking for such an asset as a tether, so that there is no influence of bears and volatility.

Yes I agree. Ampleforth proves a great solution for bear markets and volatility. Pretty awesome team and backed by Pantera too.

To microchain to not to microchain
by

Hello everyone Smiley Been hearing a lot about dapps lately and about the best platforms to build them on. An interesting concept is microchains and this is summed up in MOAC's whitepaper on what they are. What does everyone think about multi-layer blockchains with microchains??

Quote
The underlying architecture of the MOAC Platform is a Multi-Blockchain consisting of a global
primary blockchain, MotherChain, and additional MicroChains. Using blockchain sharding technology,
a MicroChain functions as a child blockchain within the platform that operates above the
global MotherChain, and is responsible for Smart Contracts management. MicroChains also
enable high volume transactions using a variety of consensus systems. Consensus system is an
agreement system that provides accountability and verification of transactions.

MicroChains significantly reduce the cost of smart contract operations and allow developers to
rapidly test different application and service ideas. MOAC’s MicroChains are able to interconnect
with all other non- MOAC blockchains using Cross-Chain capabilities. This allows both users and
their decentralized applications (DApps) to migrate easily to the MOAC Platform, with no prior
blockchain knowledge. It also provides a decentralized file storage solution which is currently
missing from other major blockchains.

I am into DEX's but I'm curious how they will play out. Big fan of stablecoins and how they'll be used for them

I certainly believe that EOS, ETH and NEO are among the best, I have also been testing in waves for the low consumption of fees and has been quite well too, I heard that Venq and elastix are good too, but I have not tried them, there is too much to grab for the time being.

Pretty much. Lots of offerings atm. I do like MOAC since devs can choose consensus models. very interesting. I also think sharding and microchains are the future

Re: top 100 crypto launches first dapp

saw this on newsbtc about moac: https://www.newsbtc.com/press-releases/moac-showcases-easy-to-use-apis-with-first-dapp-launch/

currently ranked 70, it looks like they're a public blockchain that pretty much rivals the big dogs. thoughts on this?

for me it is just another dapp that is trying to overtake the ethereum which is currently the most adopted crypto out there. For me ethereum really is far ahead of its competitors and they will need a very unique event in able to surpass ethereum. For me it is just way impossible right now,.

Agreed but wouldn't you say that ethereum is too slow? Sure they have community but it's about time someone like moac comes in and beats them on speed and scalability...especially for dapp developers. And you can choose the consensus models

It is affected by a number of factors like new related to crypto. For instance, if some country bans crypto, the demand will reduce there and price will go down.

Some coins are already  challenging it in some aspects. Like ETH is being used for online payments as it is faster and has less fees.

Assets are actually more precious these days and as the price of bitcoin rises, it will be accumulating in hands of rich only. If you have some bitcoins, just hold it for some years.
