For everyone who wants to get all the information available using the python script, remove the write calls and add the following:

write("Total paid", my["paidOut"])
write("Total unpaid ", my["immatureBalance"] + my["unexchangedBalance"] + my["bitcoinBalance"])
write("Exchanged    ", my["bitcoinBalance"])
write("Unexchanged  ", my["unexchangedBalance"])
write("Immature     ", my["immatureBalance"])
print "    Khash/s      :\t%.2f" % (my["megahashesPerSecond"])
print "    Shares last h:\t%.0f" % (my["lastHourShares"]/1000)

edit: oops. Last two lines were formatted wrong. Hacked it to be right.

Just made a tiny script to show the latest info instead of going to the website each time. Am I too inpatient?

Excellent. Now I don't have to feel bad for taxing the server Cheesy

Wouldn't it be reasonable to take the graph off the home page, put it on a sub-page and instead show the key numbers?

I think one of the reasons the price is comming down MAY be from the alternate switching pools (for ex. hashco). They are mining DOGE and have a bot that sells in ?Cryptsy?. They have the pressure to sell so that they can transfer BTC for the users.

Yup. You people keep on pumping, we will do the dumping. very much mine   great price

Everyone please note that the OP (Les) is one of the few people (or alter egos) raking in all the rewards.

I've been engaging on rugatu a little bit, lately. I think it is an excellent concept, but I suspect that there is a small group of users who are colluding.

Take a look at who is accepting answers. It seems like the user cscoxx and some other users are colluding to grab the rewards. Check out his profile and dig through his history. Note the low quality of the accepted answers that he is involved in. I'm not sure how and where exactly he is profiting (he DOES ask (very random) questions himself, but then goes on to accept extremely low quality answers) but something is up. I hope he's just manipulating the system to gain karma, but right now I'm not sending any BTC to rugatu.

edit: Ugh, note to self: search bitcointalk before engaging in anything related to bitcoin. This issue is not new and has been happening for a long time. I'm removing all my answers and won't come back. Might as well annoy them a little  Grin

any has experience with hashco.ws, that it's more profitable than normal litecoin mining?

You can view the profit graph here.

The new message reads:
"the 'My Est. Earnings' per round currently only works for coins you exchange for BTC. It will also only start displaying, once we have at least 1 mature coin for that round"
But it still shows 0 btc for most rounds for me, even if there are mature coins.

As long as you see mature coins, we're good.

PayPal president, 'the value of Bitcoin still has the potential to double'.

1 Bitcoin = 2 Bitcoins?
I think that what he means to say is that the value of a dollar has the potential to halve  Cheesy

wow you desperately want to see a head and shoulder pattern eh

I would love to be correct, yes. Smiley

especially when someone said my TA was pulled from my ass?!

This may not be realised, but the pattern is there non the less.

I have near zero knowledge of this market and can tell you, your prediction is unwarranted. The first tooth in the zigzag pattern is made up to be consistent with the two following teeth. It is not consistent with the actual data. What remains is the two teeth. Your prediction amounts to "it went up a bit, down a bit more, then up a little bit less, therefore a crash will happen". I will eat my words if it goes down to 200, as you predict.

I did not predict 200.  I predicted below 800 within 24 hours (about 3-4 hours ago) and said earlier that sub $500 I what I think could happen.   The graph is worse case not looking at other non TA factors.

I don't expect $200 BTC but I would love to buy at that price.

Ah, I see. Fair enough. But the second graph does imply it. If it doesn't happen than the pattern you drew was not a pattern to begin with but merely a sawtooth that loosely resembled past events (again the first tooth does not reflect the data).

@cbuchner1

2GB config made for testing purposes only, so no harm done, 4GB were mining again 15 mins later Wink
Not going to change anything - both rigs are mostly used for work/gaming... so mining is done on "idle hours only" Smiley
Tnx anyway
Any idea about "browser + cudaminer = high KH/s" situation from my previous post?! Sounds stupid but happens all the time on the first rig only!

The first thing I would do check is the power savings settings. You're most likely using windows (the gaming gave it away :p) and I wouldn't be completely surprised if windows doesn't recognize an app running in the console as a priority, given a conservative power savings profile.

I suggest a percentage for withdraw fees instead of a fixed amount!!

That because is highly variable for earnings

sometines withdraw fees are 10%, another a 30% 50% or even more

Do you withdraw amounts as small as BTC0.0002? You shouldn't do that.

IMPORTANT NEWS: Round Estimates and Exchanged/Unexchangd balances are currently broken. This has no affect on earnings or on your btc payout. Everyone is receiving the credit for the coins they should be. However don't be alarmed if you see 0's for 'My Est. Earnings' in the stats table, or if your Exchanged/Unexchanged balances don't change. You will all get the btc you've earned regardless of these numbers, at the usual payout time. We are working on a solution and it will be fixed soon.

Also the second stratum is in the works as we speak. I don't want to promise a ETA but I can tell you pretty soon.

Is there any chance that the algorithm for choosing the coin is shared with the cows for inspection? I often suspect that the choice of coin is suboptimal, but it is impossible to know for sure. The cows have the greatest incentive to optimize the algorithm besides hashco.ws, so why not bundle forces to improve it? Or could that knowledge be abused by a third party?

I have been keeping an eye on the market this week. It occurred to me that the last trap (dec 7th) was preceded by a large spread ($100+). I haven't seen such a spread since then and there have also been no traps since then. Are the traps usually preceded by large spreads? Is there some common wisdom as to what else can cause such spreads?

Spread as in the difference between exchanges?? Remember a few days ago when all the exchanges were in step with each other? That was a buy signal. As gox gets further from the pack the opportunity to perform profitable arbitrage emerges thus opening us up to a re-convergence of prices. Gox prices are high because its hard to withdrawal, and btce 's are low because its hard to deposit and hard to trust.

What I meant was the spread between the asks and the bids. Before the trap it suddenly grew out of proportions, the asks and bids became polarized. It was like a Mexican standoff before hell broke loose.

Was only a matter of time!

"Thanksgiving day, while many of us were eating turkey, The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) published JPMorgan Chase’s (Chase) patent application 20130317984, “Method and system for processing internet payments using the electronic funds transfer network.”  The application was filed with the USPTO on August 5th, 2013.

Without mentioning Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies at all for that matter, Chase appears to be building a competing centralized network to Bitcoin."

1. Take the Bitcoin concept without giving credit to its developers.
2. Remove all the features that make Bitcoin successful and call it "web cash".
3. ...
4. Profit?
