Trace is a great spokesperson for bitcoin. Bull or bear stage in BTC, hearing him talk about bitcoin gives a very comforting feeling and trust about the
future development of BTC.
Always great to hear his interviews.

This man has a huge following in Asia. Both rich and common men watch his moves very carefully and follow
what he does (of course after he already made a move). So this will raise a lot of further interest into bitcoins.
A bit like Warren Buffett of the East...

I would love to see a bunch of coins dumped like that and see the market return to a fair price fueled by investor demand rather than speculation and games. If I could get a rock solid price like that which I could feel completely safe with, then I would hold my coins in codl storage and take a break from the exchanges and the charts.
Investor is just a nicer name for a speculator. Whats the real difference, both are in it to make as much money as possible?
I doubt anybody comes to bitcoin just to earn a nice 6-8% on their money annually?

The Bitcoin market is a flea on an elephants ass currently. Small fish (the winklevoss douches) that want to be big fish are buying in...
The Winklevoss are also young and have time to grow into very big fishes. Remember, the wealth held by those in their 50s, 60s and 70s must be passed down to the younger generation. Bitcoin is one possible mechanism to facilitate this.
A lot can happen in a generation.
That passing of wealth with Bitcoin is a very interesting idea...a lot of interesting tax possibilities also.

Old mentality: I have got to buy, the price is going up. I will not sell at $1200, bitcoins will be worth millions.
New mentality: I have got to sell, the price is going down. Why would I hold, I might lose everything.
Old one: Look at these cheap coins ($550 vs $1200) BUY!
New one: Look at these expensive coins. Now they are $550, in 2010 they were only a few cents. SELL!
Old one: I am investing in disruptive technology!
New one: I have been scammed!
Lots of people have been burnt buying at 1200, and they want to get out. Many early adopters will try to cash in their fortunes.
Fear will replace greed. Reality will replace delusion.
Look out below.

You are seriously joking. Like there would not have happened massive global development in bitcoin area and we are only getting started. This kind of messages normally always mean that the person has completely missed the train or sold too early and want to get back aboard cheaper...well, not with my coins.
Ridiculous.
So how do you guys choose between the alt coins if you plan to invest at least as a small part of portfolio into them.
There are already more than 100 of them available and for sure tons of more coming.
What criteria do you use? Do you mainly focus on the top 10 in the market cap listing or try to find the rising stars?
