actualy difficulty is provided by pool and usualy it changes automaticly or they use different ports.
If you mean intensity and that stuff for gpus, try smth like this:
Quote
/*
 * GPU configuration. You should play around with intensity and worksize as the fastest settings will vary.
 *      index    - GPU index number usually starts from 0
 *  intensity    - Number of parallel GPU threads (nothing to do with CPU threads)
 *   worksize    - Number of local GPU threads (nothing to do with CPU threads)
 * affine_to_cpu - This will affine the thread to a CPU. This can make a GPU miner play along nicer with a CPU miner.
 * strided_index - switch memory pattern used for the scratch pad memory
 *                 true  = use 16byte contiguous memory per thread, the next memory block has offset of intensity blocks
 *                 false = use a contiguous block of memory per thread
 * "gpu_threads_conf" :
 * [
 *   { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : true },
 * ],
 */

"gpu_threads_conf" : [
  // gpu: Ellesmere memory:3712
  // compute units: 32
  { "index" : 0,
    "intensity" : 768, "worksize" : 8,
    "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : true
  },
  // gpu: Ellesmere memory:3920
  // compute units: 36
  { "index" : 1,
    "intensity" : 864, "worksize" : 8,
    "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : true
  },

],

/*
 * Platform index. This will be 0 unless you have different OpenCL platform - eg. AMD and Intel.
 */
"platform_index" : 2,

if it doesn't work, ask google for XMR-AEON-STAK-2.2

Re: How can i calculate what PSU i need?
by

you can check what TDP each major component have, cpu, gpu. 1x gpu 200W, 1x cpu 100W, + ~100W for hdd and that stuff, = 400W. You buy 500W quality psu, so you have some reserve and so on....

Do you have EDW4032BABG memory chips? You can see this with SRBpolaris bios editor.
I have 4G Elpida  EDW4032BABG but on RX570 and and 1990mhz memory works ok only for ETH only. Above 2000Mhz forget it.

Try overclock gpu 1170Mhz (below 1200mhz) memory 1950Mhz (below 2000mhz), v gpu atleast 1V than find the lowest working V. (~950mV).

EDIT: 1st overclock, than run mining software. Don't overclock during mining.

Re: Claymore's Ethereum Mining NoDevFee v8.0 🔥
by
vuli

Hi. I coded small app which intercept (hook) network login packet (Winsock2 -> ws2_32.dll -> send -> eth_submitLogin) and changes all dev fee wallets to your wallet. It detects your wallet automatically, using first login packet with your wallet and remembering it.

How to use :
1. Copy "nodevfee.exe" and "nodevfeeDll.dll" from "nodevfee\x64\Release" to Claymore directory (in same directory with "EthDcrMiner64.exe").
2. Create bat file and use it "nodevfee.exe EthDcrMiner64.exe YOUR_USUAL_PARAMETERS" for instance "nodevfee.exe EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xcb4effdeb46479caa0fef5f5e3569e4852f753a2.worker1 -epsw x"

I attach all sources you can check how it works and compile by yourself (Visual Studio 2015). Report bugs, I will try fix them.

Feel free to donate if you like it 0xcb4effdeb46479caa0fef5f5e3569e4852f753a2

Edit: Update links.

you are the man you know. Good job..
Btw anyone tried if it can do the same on cryptonote, e.g. monero?

PSU is the 1st factor here, if you dont do calculations right or you buy cheap psu. You can mine with cheaper psu but expect it to die faster.
GPU, yes it can happen gpus die in the proces of mining, especialy if they are running to hot for a long time. COOLING!!

well, I started with Nicehash and start learning about cryptomining with Nicehash software a lot. For newbies is defenitly good choice to start with no regarding what happened.
But they will defenetly be better after this.
