Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin?
by

For me personally, I dont think children have any business being close to the world of Bitcoin. Not because Bitcoin is bad in itself, but because of the various vices they might be exposed to along the line which they might not be matured enough to handle.

Have you seen the video of the accident? Shot right from the Uber car. This poor woman didn't have a single chance. And in this particular case it is obviously doesn't matter who was the driver.

Could you please share a link to that video so we can see it? Thanks.

Sure, here you go:

Well, basically if I am going to cross the dark road without reflective elements on my clothes, I have to be ready to get hit by a car.

Darkness is not an excuse for self-driving vehicle which is equipped with infrared sensors. This is a terrible tragedy.

Decentralized currency can't be a national currency under no circumstances. Without government's control of emission it would become a killer for the national economics faster than you would say "I love crypto"

Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

Now this question makes absolutely no sense. Time has shown the complete failure of gold holding - it's time to draw conclusions.

Poverty is balance in life, even if given equal money, not necessarily same in use. Because each person's different needs and lifestyle, bitcoin will never overcome poverty. However, in presence of bitcoin people can make money without to become employees.

I do not believe that will be used by all, but I hope to use a significant part of the people. Before that must be established sufficiently reliable protections for ordinary users. There is no way to train a pensioner of all the intricacies of the confidentiality.

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

I see nothing wrong with Airdrop events as such. It's nice opportunity for low-ranked users to earn some money, but it's not always ease to find trustworthy projects to take a part  Undecided

Trading is a very unpredictable job that you have to be very skilled at to even make some profit at all. If you are not skilled then you are actually just making wild guesses which is not the way to go about if you want to make profit.

Re: I Love To See People Panic Selling Of Bitcoin
by

now selling its not panic as i think everyone know that bitcoin  price is going to 0 $ yes as you hear it 0$ i wish it dont but thats a reallity :/

What? Why do you think so? Death of bitcoin means end of all the crypto. Don't be ridiculous! It’s just a big dump. Soon it will stop. Whales also need to purchase crypto.

None of this should be surprising, given how our traders like to "push the panic button". Largely speaking, it's their right.

Re: Did you know that one Bitcoin is worth as much as 2,5 million Ripple?

Hello fellow forum members,

Did you know that one Bitcoin is worth as much as 2,5 million Ripple? For me this was a huge eyeopener.
I am a Dutch student who has developed a spreadsheet to judge the prices of cryptocurrencies. The prices of 34 popular coins, with mainly a currency purpose, are compared with the value of reference coins as the Bitcoin and Ripple, taking into account the quantity of the coins. Also other important information as transactiondata, if available, and reviews are included.
If you’re interested just send an E-mail to this adres joriscomparator@gmail.com with just "request information" and you will receive a Wordfile with more information and a part of the spreadsheet. I ask a small fee of 0.001 BTC to receive the complete spreadsheet, an Excel 2007 file.

Joris

Wow! Where we can get the next spreadsheet representing ratio of another popular currencies like USD or EUR?
What do you mean "we can check an exchanges rates"?  Shocked Grin

Re: When You Think Market Boom Again?
by
waldenari777
on 16/03/2018, 11:12:55 UTC
Nobody can predict when the next boom will hit the market.
That depends on many factors.
Here are the 2 most important ones.
How are the cryptocurrencies regulated and controlled by governments around the world? Will the public digital currencies prevail?
What technical innovations will come in the crypto world. Maybe a whole new coin will come. Will a so-called Altcoin like DASH or MONERO replace the BTC?

As for these altcoins, I doubt they can ever replace Bitcoin. Concerning the next cryptomarket boom...it might start this autumn already, not very soon.

It's very unlikely that we will see a moment of replacing BTC by any alt in the near future.

Re: Buy a book about bitcoins

Here are a few suggestions that I have and the ones that I've read:

2) Digital Gold: Bitcoin and the Inside Story of the Misfits and Millionaires Trying to Reinvent Money by  Nathaniel Popper - It provides a historical viewpoint of events and enterprenuers setting up their start ups and the overall story of Bitcoin and how it evolved. It has a good bunch of stories about prominent startups their success and failiures towards the end. Good read if you like Bitcoin documentaries.

I highly recommend this one. At the time this book was a big revelation for me and I guess everyone who read it would agree with me.

I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Of course they do. Some examples can be cited, including  Bill gates and Mark Zuckerbeg. They have some statements about bitcoins, specially Bill gates who posted some predictions about crypto's destiny.

Hello, as we all know that Bitcoin is heading straight to the moon. Me, as an employee, do also invest with this cryptocurrency, and I kinda need to divide all of my salary for my needs, and on how much should I invest in? Let's talk about percentage. Anyone?

And we still don't know your salary scale. Optimal percentage may vary according your income. Anyway, this value shouldn't be more then 10% of your total income per month.

Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000?

According to some sources, Binance was hacked just to hide the sale bitcoin of the Japanese (mt.gox) ( ~800k BTC ). If there are more information about the hacking exchange. Then, BTC breaking below 4xxx, maybe 2k5, I think the best way : u should to sell all your BTC, altcoin. All exchange will die. Thats' the second mt.gox. ***Attention from now until 7/4/2018.
The Chinese exchange is not easy to hack. If so, it is deliberate......

Bitcoin price can move in any side nowadays. It's unpredictable according to these disturbing news. Well, fingers crossed.

Re: Facebook bans ads for cryptocurrencies
by
waldenari777
on 12/03/2018, 15:03:50 UTC
WASHINGTON- Facebook says it is banning all ads related to cryptocurrencies in an effort to fight scams.

The social media giant said it is barring ads for "financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, and cryptocurrency."

Initial coin offerings or ICOs are a way for companies to raise funds by selling investors cryptographic assets.

Fraud is common in the world of red-hot digital currencies such as bitcoin.

This week, for instance, the US Securities and Exchange Commission shut down an initial coin offering by a Texas company called AriseBank.

AriseBank was accused of relying on celebrity endorsers such as boxer Evander Holyfield and social media to cheat investors out of $600 million of its goal of $1 billion for a currency it called "AriseCoin."

In a blog post announcing the news, Facebook product management director Rob Leathern hinted that Facebook may modify the new policy at some point to allow bona fide crypto-related businesses to advertise again.

"We want people to continue to discover and learn about new products and services through Facebook ads without fear of scams or deception," Leathern wrote.

"That said, there are many companies who are advertising binary options, ICOs and cryptocurrencies that are not currently operating in good faith."

"This policy is intentionally broad while we work to better detect deceptive and misleading advertising practices, and enforcement will begin to ramp up across our platforms including Facebook, Audience Network and Instagram. We will revisit this policy and how we enforce it as our signals improve," he added.

This subject has already been addressed here. Crypto ads is still in Facebook -  changing some characters from Bitcoin to 8itco1ne is enough to to pass the moderation.

Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?

If i had $50 I would spend it for pizza. During the lunch i would find a job and earn some money to invest 5000 instead 50  Grin Undecided
