[MAX][MAXCOIN] Max Keiser: "Hopefully Maxcoin Will Prevent the Next 9/11"
by
wallstreetcoiner
on 22/05/2014, 17:09:18 UTC
I was just looking through the twitter feed of Max Keiser and noticed that he seems to be heavily pumping Maxcoin again. In one tweet he suggested that his followers buy both Bitcoin and Maxcoin "until their fingers bleed".

But I was puzzled as to how Maxcoin could prevent future terrorist attacks? Thoughts?

I have no idea why anyone would take this report seriously when it was written by an author with an extremely heavy bias and one that clearly did not have even the most basic understanding of his subject matter.

This guy basically took one narrow view (the book cover approach) and proceeded to write an entire book report without reading a single page beyond the cover.

but I do agree dogecoin is solowly dying.

I'm sorry, but anyone that thinks Dogecoin is dying must not have access to mainstream news coverage.

Just because there's someone being sponsored by dogecoin in a hardly watched nascar race, doesn't mean that it's price would go up at all, especially because the guy driving the "dogecar" is a newbie and was like in 28th place in a previous race if I remember correctly. Look at the doge halving, dogecoin fans were saying the price would go up because of the halving, it actually went down!

Cryptocurrencies are down across the board.

As I been looking at altcoins recently I think only two come to mind Litecoin and aurora

Based on my 12 months of research, I think probably what we'll see by end of 2015 is a top four consisting of Bitcoin (BTC), Goldcoin (GLD), Litecoin (LTC), and Dogecoin (DOGE).

LOL, nice trolling. Goldcoin is a scam and dead, Litecoin is failing because it's about to get taken over be ASIC's, and Dogecoin is like a toy coin, only for people new to cryptos and it's dying slowly...

Time to come out from under your rock.  Roll Eyes

Goldcoin is certainly not a scam and far from dead, it's about to release the first ever multi-currency java client this month. Litecoin will benefit from ASIC and Dogecoin is getting ready to gain even move mainstream exposure thanks to a new Nascar sponsorship. http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/24/tech/web/nascar-dogecoin-talladega/

Re: How long before BTC overtaken by another cryptocurrency?
by

on 04/05/2014, 22:19:12 UTC
Presuming that at some stage bitcoin will be overtaken by another crypto, how soon at the earliest could this happen?

I could see this happening within 3 to 5 years.

But most likely what you'll are coins like Goldcoin (GLD) and Dogecoin (DOGE) rising up to join Litecoin (LTC) to battle it out for the number two spot. IMO

Any info from cryptorush.in when are they going to enable BTC withdrawal?

Based on my understanding, there are no bitcoins to withdrawal.

[ADVICE] Moving a little of the college fund into Goldcoin (GLD)
by
wallstreetcoiner
on 28/03/2014, 14:56:01 UTC
After during my due diligence I decided to store away 100K Goldcoins on a paper wallet in my safe for my 10-year-old son's college. I know it's a risk but compared to bitcoin it seems like better odds of getting his education paid up with $1000.

Maybe I should buy 3 or 4 more coins instead of having all my eggs in a single basket. Can you guys recommend some other coins that I might want to look at and why?

Re: GoldCoin (GLD) Revive???

One of the most underrated alts, one due to the name and the development behind it.

Yes. It's finally starting to get a little attention. I think this is THE coin to watch.

It dropped alot during past months but surely it got bigger potential so I believe value will grow.
Last 10% drop was at 24 march due to almost no trading that day.

Yeah. I think it's headed back up now if bitcoin can get some legs.

Based on what we're seeing, it looks like Goldcoin (GLD) could be the future of cryptos.

I think Dogecoin has a slight edge in terms of future upside potential.

We're beginning now to recommended Dogecoin (DOGE), and Goldcoin (GLD) to our clients.

Re: I Struck GOLD!

Was introduced to BTC by way of GLD, so after seeing it take one of the most nasty nose dives on CC history I decided to stop it with some serious infusion, I saw it as a learning tax (didn't think I would see any profit from it). to my surprise it just turned a profit -- I struck gold with GLD -- hot dog.

Congratulations on your Goldcoin discovery! A coin with good vibes and golden devs! Smiley

Re: Is the Maxcoin fork a new trend? Cut reward in 1/2 and double price?
by

I guess they learned from those SCUMBAG GOLDCOIN devs.

Its not a new trend, its been done before.

The Goldcoin devs actually increased the coin total from 100 million coins to over 120 million coins.

is this sarcasm? what on earth is special about goldcoin, supposed to be joking right?

It was one of the first coins to become resistant to 51% attack and to become multi-pool resistant. Its developer is considered one of the rising stars in the crypto industry and is currently working on a complete rewrite of the bitcoin code base. Plus the coin has a pretty cool name.

Re: When will Maxcoin hit 10$
by

I really haven't been keeping up on this coin but I'm worried people may lose there money with this coin.  I really do hope I'm wrong because I'd hoped it was gonna be a standout even though I don't have a dog in the race.

No need to worry. The developers have discovered that if you make less coins, the price goes up. Everything will be just fine.

Re: Maxcoin decides hard fork equals higher market price
by

on 20/03/2014, 23:17:20 UTC
Didn't the instant 30k USD they made on the "instamine 1 difficulty fair launch" last them not even 3 months?

The developers have hinted that if this doesn't work they will keep forking. It's called "development" according to their twitter feed.

https://twitter.com/maxcoinproject/status/446670664184127488

It appears the maxcoin team has found the holy grail of crypto - how to make the price higher at will. lol

Maxcoin is going from 250 million coins to 100 million coins:

https://twitter.com/maxcoinproject/status/446670664184127488

Does this mean you just fork whenever you want a higher price?
