Re: Bitcoin will soon reach a reliable low, below which the price will not fall.
by
watchurstep45
on 09/10/2018, 08:49:38 UTC
The expert of the venture crypto company Blockchain Capital Spencer Bogart believes that bitcoin is ready to signal the discovery of a reliable minimum, below which the price will not fall.
"Regarding its peak values, the price of bitcoin fell by 70%, so I think that bitcoin is close to finding its minimum, like all other cryptocurrencies," Bogart said in an interview with CNBC on Friday.
"At the end of 2017, we saw a strong rally of the entire crypto market, despite the fact that there was a lot of negative news. Now you can see that there are positive news, but the price is not growing, " he added.
Under positive news Bogart meant investing broker TD Ameritrade in an adjustable ErisX crypto currency exchange, and a statement by Rick Edelman regarding the bitcoin ETF approval and funding Yale University cryptofauna for $400 million.
"All this news is important building blocks that are laid in a new Foundation for the promotion of institutional capital in the crypto space," Bogart said.
Similar opinion is shared by Mike Novogratz, who last month suggested that bitcoin "has reached its bottom". This statement was based on a comparison of the current Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto (BGCI) index readings with those existing at the time when the market started its bullish rally. Novogratz also said that in the next 2-3 years a lot of financial institutions will be included in cryptoprocessor. He said this at the South Korean conference Beyond Blocks in July.
Earlier, a team of researchers published data according to which 54% of institutional investors believe that the price of bitcoin has already reached its minimum. At the same time, 57% of all respondents said that by the end of 2019 they expect to see the price above $15,000.
In may, fundstrat analyst Tom Lee once again expressed his expectations regarding the price of bitcoin, which, according to him, will reach $22,000-$25,000 by the end of this year. Later in August, he changed his Outlook, saying that real prices could be much higher. As evidence, he provided a correlation between emerging markets and the crypto market.
Despite these forecasts, the price of bitcoin, apparently, is not going to update the historical maximum, in connection with which Novograts also changed his forecast, saying that bitcoin is unlikely to pass the mark of $9,000 before the end of this year. However, by the end of the second quarter of 2019 Novogratz expects to see a price above $10 000.

I think when I told you that question.
because now bitcoin is in low price because today's many sellers in the markets. so it's time to come back to high-prize bitcoin like one year. if you're holding bitcoin now do not wait for it you're in december because I'm sure bitcoin will increase when it comes to december or january

Personally for me, the most "Bitcoin-ish" things I have ever done is spending 27 days, 11 hours and 23 minutes minus AFK time on Bitcointalk to obtain the rank Legendary. With the hope that one day I will be able to put it inside my resume - alright, just kidding.

What's the most Bitcoin-ish things you have ever done?

eg. laszlo for being the first person to buy pizza with Bitcoin
I think the most Bitcoin thing I've done is.
for me the bitcoin thing I did was that I got a bitcoin because I was at home and I was able to withdraw money for bitcoin. if bitcoin was just a good thing for me because it helps and benefits a lot That's the thing I did with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a store of value while technology will bring true to bitcoins white paper. How long will it takes for lightening network to arrive? That's like asking when is 5g available. At least we got segwit.
I think if the store is coming and then the digital money is coming, it's better to have a store with instant cash because it's now very hard to use digital currency for everyone. If there is a digital store with its own money has this value for people to buy things they want to buy.

Re: Imagine a world where Bitcoin will be used as a primary payment option

Do you imagine this thing to happen? Everytime i think about this, I can say that being an early adopter of bitcoin is something to be proud of and something that will make you famous in the eyes of many.

If this will happen, it is not impossible for bitcoin to reach above $100,000 and an adoption from the bank might also happen. Credit cards will be offered where bitcoin or cryptocurrency were stored and be used as a payment through online shopping sounds also cool right?  Cheesy Year of 2022 looks very exciting.
I think that's a good question for everyone.
because if I ask you will not be so bad if bitcoin will use our payment if we are to buy the market or mall.pero for me it is not possible things will happen if the consequences are good.

If bitcoin were to be accepted, on the condition that it should be regulated. Do you think it should be done, disregarding its decentralized nature?
I think the acceptance of bitcoin is good. Because of this we accept bitcoin wholeheartedly because we see that it will bring about our country and also help our poor people to get their lives in the future too. we should only accept bitcoin.

Re: Today`s bitcoin market is pretty quite slow!

There are so many hodlers, long-term investors and other people who made nothing but only to wait the market grows. How stupid this people are!!!

They do not know the people that trade in bitcoin daily just only maximized the risk and the small amount of profit they have...Just to make the market green... And so this long-term hodler, seeing the market green, sold a sum of bitcoin saying " we need to maximize our loss" LOL you are not helping the market grow, you are so selfish. We need to help the market grow not just on the prospect of profit but rather expansion and growth of the market. We talk not about today, we talk about the future and what lies ahead.

This may give much debate to everyone but let us be set - we need bitcoin for the future and we need it grow starting TODAY...
I think that's what I'm going to say, because bitcoin is running slowly in the market.
because I see today in markets many sell bitcoin even though its low price is now not because of the sales of the other because it is no longer able to handle it for a long time.this slow down the market is people selling bitcoin at low price

Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos
by
watchurstep45
on 05/10/2018, 10:03:13 UTC
I don't think it is relevant to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum or comparing any other cryptos to each other. I know its quiet tempting to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum because of their reputations in terms of their market cap and volume. But I do believe that the source of doubt in most people in the crypto community is mostly because of this comparisons made about cryptocurrencies. People who don't really know and understand the ideas and purpose of the creation of cryptocurrency will just share their ignorance to the world, which is not helping the crypto market. People sell their cryptos just because they heard that a particular coin is better than the coin they have. To add to these, I believe dumping of crypto coins is also as a result of this kinda comparisons made by people.  Please let's find a way to talk about cryptos rather than comparing them to each other...... Huh Huh Huh
I think it's a good question that Bitcoin should not be compared to Ethereum.
because I think Bitcoin's value is not the same as Ethereum. the bitcoin interval is higher than ethereum and bitcoins are more and more invested in bitcoins because they can get a lot of money when it comes to bitcoin investors. the only amount he earns in ethnoum all markets when you sell another token, it does not sell any tokens when you have no ethanol or gas payment

Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016
by
watchurstep45
on 04/10/2018, 12:40:23 UTC
Im interested to know how many people are actually now involved in the bitcoin world, Is there anyway to find out a rough idea of the user base so that we can come to a conclusion on what kind of adoption we are currently at? It seems difficult to gauge since this forum alone has several duplicate accounts from the same people.

. /r/bitcoin has 180k subs to it so would it be safe to assume if we included all miners, users holders and whoever else that we are still at under 1 million users? If this is the case then we still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any more accurate guesses or way to determine the market?
I think many people use bitcoin.
for me a few million people use bitcoin because they see that they are doing their job in town and that people are paying less money to earn bitcoin. I think that in bitcoin hold in 2016 they have earned a good deal since the bitcoin was bigger in 2017

hy mates

sorry to ask this over here.

lets see what will happened to the market before this year runs out, or could anyone possible guess what will happen in December 2018.
also will there be any upgrade in the bitcointalk forum?
I think the end of this year is.
maybe the speed of bitcoin or the ethereum is good because now they both go down. I think that by the end of this year the markets will be able to recover the market so that they can sell everything for a good price especially to hold the token long

Re: Why investors invest in bitcoin though some of them loose it ?
by
watchurstep45
on 03/10/2018, 13:26:18 UTC
As per my knowledge, Some investors invest in bitcoin when the price reach to 20,000$ but now price is hardly more than 10000$.
Should they loose their money?
But still investors are invest in why ?
I think many people like to invest in bitcoin than others.
maybe they see how much money they'll get when they bitcoin invested. if you're a bitcoin investor know first how to run your money so you can not lose or lose as others just waste their money because of investing they are in bitcoin without knowing. should you invest in bitcoin know everything first so you do not repent and you do not blame people

Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams
by
watchurstep45
on 03/10/2018, 08:17:15 UTC
As interest in digital currencies increases such as Bitcoin, more and more Bitcoin scams promise high returns. Unrealistic lure is clearly a mere cover, and usually ends with the loss of clients' funds. Fraud often spreads in social circles based on trusted relationships. Therefore, we must be aware that there are cunning fraudsters who can actively seek ways to deceive with absurd tricks and offers.

How to avoid bitcoin scams :

1. Know What You Are Facing

You don't need to rush to decide whether an investment product is a scam or not. All you need to do is, take a moment to find complete information about the project. The easiest way to do this is to find information in the form of company details or Whitepaper (if ICO), and other things related to the investment product. Learn all the details carefully and do some research on testimonials, comments, and so on. Another way is to join a Bitcoin forum like Bitcointalk, and immediately ask for credibility of an investment product or company to other members.

2. Avoid Unrealistic Offerings

Usually, crypto currency fraud can disguise its identity by using a social media account or advertising banner that looks professional. Mark Steward, director of FCA law enforcement, explained that when people become more skeptical of the real world regarding investment and consumer habits have changed, investment fraud has moved into the realm of Online and social media.

How to avoid this Bitcoin Scam is, you are better selective about all investment offerings from the Online platform that you did not ask for, whether through social media, email, or even by telephone. Even if it looks official, pay attention to how it is offered. Con artists usually dare to promise high profits to lure victims. So if you feel the promise of profits is unrealistic, immediately ignore the proposed offer.

3. Beware of Phising Web Pages

Increased interest in crypto currencies makes many new investors enter the market. Lots of land in a fake landing page that claims to be a popular digital currency exchange platform. One example is the one that uses the Punycode technique. Through this method, the fake domain 'xn - inance-hrb [dot] com' can be displayed as 'ƅinance [dot] com'. This technique is usually able to deceive consumers, because web pages can look really like the original. You can overcome this by being aware of vulnerabilities that exist in internet browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Opera,

4. Beware of Fake Digital Wallets

Fake virtual wallets often appear online or at the mobile app store. In the example of a fake Wallet fraud that happened, more than $ 3.3 million was stolen from users who want to claim their Bitcoin Gold. To anticipate similar events, many Bitcoin Wallet providers caution clients to be aware of the cloning of scammers who want to steal victim funds by imitating their appearance.

MyEtherWallet for example, warns customers about fake MyEtherWallet in December. In addition, before choosing a digital wallet provider, do research first. Please share opinions on leading crypto forums, both local and foreign. In essence, only use the Wallet provider with a good track record.

5. Beware of Bitcoin Thief Malware

Malware is something that concerns computer owners. But now, a new category of malware capable of stealing Bitcoin-related data has appeared. Malware authorized by the computer owner is able to record typing or search for a file with the keyword "Account", "Password", "Bitcoin", "Wallet", or other keywords specified by the author, then upload the file to an anonymous server automatically.

In addition, there is also a malware that seeks to absorb the computing power of computer users to mine crypto. Anticipating this, YouTube is trying to deactivate ads that take computing power to mine crypto currencies. It is believed, after users see the related ad videos, the computer becomes slow and there will be warnings from anti-virus programs. Malware like this can steal up to 100% of computing power to mine crypto currencies (generally Monero). The solution that can be applied here is to install strong anti-virus protection and active Firewall to protect the computer.

I think these are 5 ways to prevent scams in bitcoin.
for me first you should only know your private key or wallet that someone else should not know. Secondly avoid being friends with people who are not familiar and should not just believe in the word says so you do not go wrong anymore. I should only believe in you to avoid the deceivers and to handle things that others should not know.

Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future .
by
watchurstep45
on 02/10/2018, 04:31:17 UTC
Well, every one want to be a millionaire, this is the dream of everyone, no harm in it. Henry Ford did not make a conveyor for the man he did to produce cheaper cars.Innovations come from attempts to bypass competition and win.
Although this is partly our own mistake. You can not always blame others. For example, I mentioned that we can not spend bitcoin to buy what you want. The question is, did we really see if it's impossible to buy this thing using bitcoins or are you making a guess? Because I've seen a lot of people who just assumed they can not afford to waste their time, but they could.but also we know bitcoin adoption as a currency is not yet great,, is also part of our error. For example, how many times have you asked the seller you are using bitcoin? We need to start with ourselves and insist on acceptance, and then expect others to follow

This is the dream of many pioneers and enthusiasts for ,long run, , but  it will be near-impossible to get the coin into the
mainstream economy short-term,but with time it adoption will increase.Even I, who started late in the game , wanted to see the Bitcoin as a currency of work, and not just some speculative assets.
I think the adoption of bitcoin to make a person's life better in the future,
I think everyone may wish that people will be able to live a better life in the future because each person dreams for their family to be comfortable with his family life and to provide children with a better life and to study until they finish

Re: A challenge from bitcoin in 2018

This year the price of bitcoin has dropped for a long time, and don't know how long bitcoin will be like this. I think this is a year of challenge from bitcoin, those who are strong will stay here and the weak will leave, this will be an option to determine the future.
I think the volume of bitcoin is the lowering of the previous month's price.
because everyone who has held bitcoin last month will sell them to low prices even though they know bitcoin dropping down. Another bitcoin challenge this year is the size of the seller at a small price.

as price is going down what is the best stredigy for for altcoin

the best technique in this bullish season is to hold and buy more good tokens or coins. you better buy more in order for you to get profit someday when the price of all coins got rise.  patience is also important in this time in holding your coin.

on 30/09/2018, 09:43:09 UTC
Hi, I'm a crypto developer doing dapps and blockchain-related software products.
I have found some interesting difference between bitcoin investors and altcoin investors.
It seems like bitcoin holders(like you guys) are more focus when discussing news and crypto-related issues.
Altcoin holders are more...how do I put this....more impatient and cannot focus on any subject for more than 3 days.
What do you think of this phenomenon?
I think yes because many bitcoin investors over atlcoin.
because many people trust bitcoin with the guarantee of their money being restored or more of their money money. Because not all of the altcoin my prisons are in the market and only some are worthwhile. rather than bitcoin when you invest in small The prize and your long standing before you sell high in price will definitely double the return.

Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich?
by
watchurstep45
on 29/09/2018, 11:18:49 UTC
If you look at the way things are going now, you might realize that miners have lost the plot. They are sabotaging the whole Bitcoin experiment, because they want to make more profit and if they cannot do this, they will attack the minority chain to achieve their goal.

Satoshi had hoped that this will never happen, but it is happening now. Miners are willing to kill the cow to feed them now, even if the cow is providing milk on a daily basis.

What is Bitcoin without people using it?
What is Bitcoin without trust? < If people stop trusting that miners will act in good faith to keep the cow alive >
What is Bitcoin without security? < 51% attacks provide no security >
What is Bitcoin with no value?

Some of these miners should realize that the "milking" of Bitcoin users will stop, once they have killed the cow. We should act in the best interest of this technology and reduce the hold they have over us.

~ Pay less fees < Just be patient > They are getting $350 000 daily in higher tx fees according to Trace Mayer.
~ Fire up the old miners and host nodes to have a say
~ Ask developers to change the code to keep them honest or to remove the hold they have over the Bitcoin users.

Let's change our mindset and show these miners who makes up Bitcoin. ^grrrrrrr^

I think it's not possible because many miners are wealthy even if they do not break the bitcoin. For me many miners want the bitcoin because they make a big profit and I think the miner and the bitcoin are united to raise the bitcoin together the miners

Re: Perspective about HODL.
by
watchurstep45
on 29/09/2018, 08:23:03 UTC
What is HODL?
The very first time the term HODL appeared on the Bitcoin talk forum was in 2013 and came from a member named GameKyuubi under the thread “I AM HODLING”.
From the look of the post, he was drunk and wanted to convey the fact that he was holding his BTC despite the serious fall that had just happened.

Since then, this misspelled term became very popular in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency world. Whenever a person says in a conversation that he/she is hodling or suggests to hodl, it means that they believe their coin will be profitable one day, if not today.

So basically, “HODL” was originally a typo which has now popularly earned the status of a humorous backronym:
“HODL” – “Hold on for dear life”

Kwatwani, S. (2018, February 2). What is "HODL" in the Cryptocurrency World? + Must Know Cryptocurrency Terms [Web log post].
Retrieved from https://coinsutra.com/hodl-popular-cryptocurrency-terms/

So let's cut now the history of the term. Well I want to share to you my perspective about the HODL strategy, We were all a newbie once in everything like the cryptocurrency, trading, mining, investing, etc. Most of us chooses the path of being a trader either a full time/part time, day trading/long term holding.

Most of us experienced the markets bears and bulls and as a newbie we're seeking for a right answer and most of the answer we've got from different peoples, articles and videos online is the term "HODL" and they said that it is the best way to do whenever there's a bear market, is it the right thing to do?

At first I believe in that saying because I don't have any knowledge about cryptos but after being having an experience in this forum, trading and investing to ICO's I just realized that it's not always the best way or the best strategy in cryptocurrency industry, in my case whenever there's a bear market I am analyzing the market and there's a time that we need to cut our loses and study different cryptos in the market wherein we can take advantage and earn more rather than waiting for a long time until the market recovers.

Well, the only disadvantages I've seen so far is that if your analyzation  is wrong and you've invested to a wrong coin.

Just like what I've said not all the time HODL is the best, we should consider other strategies as well. This is all according to my own perspective and opinion, I would be glad if you will give yours  Smiley

I think it depends on the coin or token that holds because not all the tokens need to be handled because there is also another token that whenever you touch it will not increase because dead tokens should be sure that your touch token is my possibility which will increase you to sell it in the correct month or day when the market price increases.

When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this graph. What an outstanding performing asset. This is why people invest in Bitcoin, hold on to your seat belts!
 Wink
What are your thoughts for next 12 months?

I think it's saying that bitcoin is dead that they make mistakes because that's exactly how bitcoin lives or investing you're not a whole year's bitcoin. how about people knowing the trend or bitcoin tricks every year maybe they understand or enlightened they are never dead.
