Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only?
by
wattson
on 04/01/2019, 17:17:39 UTC
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?

This idea is awesome! But not for all) This is good only for bounty hunters and investors of the ICO. If we are talking about the team, they are not very happy to pay you for you job with real money, they prefer "money from air" - tokens)

Re: Stop Hodling Coins!!!
by
wattson
on 04/01/2019, 17:15:47 UTC
Yes you might think this is crazy but the truth is, you are prone to more risk and uncertainties when you hold. All the price instability is actually sustaining with you holding.

The rule of when the price is moving someone is actually gaining or loosing has more effect on those holding coin.

Over the years I have noticed that trading is still the best! Am gonna share a secret with you.

I make 5% daily profit buying and selling, how do I trade?. I buy Bitcoin with cash and sell 5% higher. I do this daily some times I make more when am able to by the coin cheaper than normal.

In 20days of intensive trading, I make 100% profit. Well, am not very rich because I only like to trade with small funds and I do this to take care of my immediate expenses daily so I don't touch my salary at all cos profits from trades takes care if all these.

Comparing to when you hold, Bitcoin cannot rise above 100% in 20days!!! Forget old days rate, today is reality!

Stop holding coins for years months, that's a lazy and ignorant way to invest.

There are lots of ways you can trade, just find a comfortable trade platform with a very very reliable Escrow service and trade to only trusted people.

Thanks, remain safe.

Of course you are right, but it's not the right moment now, when everything is dumped to hell. People just should remember about this rule when the next rally comes and not be greedy, trying to get rich fast)

Re: How to find if airdrop is fake
by
wattson
on 04/01/2019, 15:52:37 UTC
The easiest way to find out if the airdrop is fake or not - is to enter the telegram chat of this project and ask admins there. If there are no telegram chats you can check their social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, Medium. Also check if they have Discord channel or Slack. The last way to check this issue is writing to their support via email.

Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT?
by
wattson
on 04/01/2019, 15:48:13 UTC
The crypto world is growing everyday even with the rise and fall of the crypto market, that hasn't stop the massive growth happening now. Altcoin particularly has evolved that even noobs find it promising to lay hands on some coin.

Yes with a good and lucky trading you can earn some good money from crypto. Also through investing in an ICO or doing some bounty hunting you could find yourself with tons of tokens.

So months after months, you've earned yourself with tons of tokens but currently doesn't have much value or you just don't know what to do with them. You keep getting that hunch that your tokens will blow one day and you will lambo.

The truth is, we never can tell which project will eventually succeed or fail, we can only do research and hope it succeed like following up the project and see if any positive progress is happening. Many tokens dumped shortly after ICO and has been dead since while some are fairly stable. Personally, im a hodler because i believe cryptocurrency is a gamble which we sometime win some or lose some, so i HODL hoping in the long run some will succeed.

So, what do you do with your numerous tokens? Do you convert them to fiat or Hodl the ones you can?

Hodling like crazy since last year)) Hoping for the best but expecting the worst) If the bull run comes I will be selling everything with no mercy, I am sure about that now) Hope my common sense won't fail))

Re: Block chain is a store of value
by

on 03/01/2019, 14:40:23 UTC
Block chain is a store of value. Even if your coin is not currently improving it is still a store of value. Sum coins being more volitile than others. It ur research on what coin to invest. Bitcoin is the first digital gold used as a store of value. Then there are alts who might be less volitile.

Don't quite understand what value you mean when talking about bitcoin and alts... The value that is being created by the fact that many people are thinking that crypto is a valuable thing? This value?)

What month will bull run starts? I can't wait to see my portfolio increases up to 100 times after joining so much bounties and got potential altcoins that will bring me to riches. When shall I see it?

Lol, you are funny guy) We are all waiting for this to happen, already a year has past))
The market will begin to grow only when most of the present holders will lose their hope and sell everything. Until this moment, while people are waiting for the bull trend, we won't see it...

Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork?
by
wattson
on 03/01/2019, 14:19:21 UTC
see good news about eth which always appears every day, some people think that eth will go up to 1000 usd, but will this happen?
because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.

All these "new news" are useless crap. They can tell us whatever they want, but it means nothing in fact. I think ethereum has lost its monopoly and won't maintain it number 2 crypto status in future.

Re: Closed my small family farm, sold out rigs, and buy in!
by
wattson
on 02/01/2019, 13:07:17 UTC
It's not cost effective to mine these days

Can't get cheap electric so I decided to close my small farm.

I have sold 5 6*cards rigs and got some money back!

It's time to buy in...

any suggestions on  which alt coins to buy  ?

I am not sure it's time to buy in) But mining became really pathetic now, that's true. I wonder what ROI did you get from this? What was the buy price and what was the sell one? Bet you've lost at least 70% as result.

Re: Crypto currency unpredictability
by

Today’s event about ripple and Etherum has just shown to all that in crypto currency, prediction is not totally allowed neither is it the best resort.

We can only focus and do our research works
The risk is inevitable

hope I get more ideas from replies

Cryptocurrency unpredictability is caused just by lack of information and high volatility level. Crypto is not backed by something real and that's why all this pumps and dumps are 100% dependant on whales plans. If you are not one of them, your knowledge is quite poor)

HODL for only the brave  Huh
What do my friends say, I think our hopes will be rewarded! Wink

HODL must be smart, not just based on some beliefs of the Moon cult)
You must learn how to be an investor, there are some rules here, and crypto won't make you rich unless you are constantly learning and watching the situation carefully.

Re: Bounty hunting nowadays compared to before what is your opinion?
by
wattson
on 30/12/2018, 11:41:06 UTC
To be honest most of the members here are spamming creating nonsense thread to so that they can post more on it and promote the projects they applied for. However, it seems that bounty hunting nowadays is not good compare to last few years before bull run happen. If you will going to compare which is way better in getting rewards the present bounty hunting or the past bounty hunting?

There is nothing to compare here. Of course the past bounty earnings are much more higher than the present ones. But that's how the business works. First come, first served. Now there are too many people who are trying to work here, in bounty sphere.

Re: Should i hold my token?
by

on 29/12/2018, 17:35:52 UTC
i have 3124 descrow tokens, i am ranked top 90, in top 1000 holders from etherscan data, will it be worth to hold for another year or should i just sell it right away when it hits the exchanges, if you guys know a coin that performed an ico a 1 - 2 years ago that would be appreciated, i want to see where it's now.

I wouldn't try to sell anything now without a good pump. Wait until a new rally comes and then begin to sell smartly. Otherwise you may regret your impatience soon. It's a very bad feeling, I had some examples in my practice in 2017, that was really painful)

Re: A good way to avoid scam ICO projects
by
wattson
on 29/12/2018, 17:32:00 UTC
I usually look at:

1) The idea of the project. It should be worthy and smart enough. This is one of the key features of every ICO.

2) The team. Who are these guys? What background do they have? What portfolio?

3) The website. Userfriendly and modern design. Is it good looking at least?

4) The whitepaper. It should be detailed enough and look seriously)

5) The news and results of past rounds/private sales. Are the devs doing anything now? How much have they already collected?

What do you do with your junk coins? almost all new Altcoin don't have good prices to make a profit.
Will there be a rule about a good project that doesn't produce junk coins? Disappointing. Undecided

Look at the market. It's totally dumped, even strong coins are cheap as hell. No wonder that every new coin appears on exchanges with not a very good price. We have to wait until the next bull run and then there will be some nice pumps. But now all you have to do is hold this crap and wait for better times to come)

Am a crypto investor seeking your opinion on which of the coin i should invest in for now.

I would advise Bitcoin. But not now, later, in Spring maybe. Now the best choice is US dollar for me)
Ethereum will be a good option after some huge BTC growth, when it will stop bursting and altcoins begin to grow.

I have done some bounty campaigns that were unsuccessful.. Also some were scams. But I have received some tokens from few of that projects. So I need to know this, Is there any opportunity that can I use this tokens?  Smiley Smiley

Sure there is) Wait for the bull market and watch them. Is there any pumps there? Then sell this crap and go buy yourself something)
Still no pumps? Just wait further. Or sell half of your tokens - half of each type. And leave the other half for a year)

by
wattson
on 28/12/2018, 15:12:12 UTC
One should exclude FOMO and FUD from his emotions forever. There are totally useless and even harmful.
One should stop feeling regret or even some kind of pain when looking backwards on the past charts of BTC or altcoins and think in that way: "damn, I should sell here, before the fall and rebuy here, just here, in this price pit"...
You should act strictly and be cold minded. And never regret anything, just remember that it's very easy to judge now when you know much more about the results. This thoughts are stupid and ridiculous!)

Re: Ripple will Die
by
wattson
on 27/12/2018, 18:36:16 UTC
Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business

Ripple is not decentralized in fact by the way) Many people doesn't treat it like crypto as far as I know. And Ripple's features are very useful for banks, it's just that they needed. And even if the banks won't use XRP, this situation can easily cause some good pump here)
