Re: is it a bubble?

I like to think of it as a self aware bubble. Most of us know that this growth is probably unsustainable, but we still want it to grow to trillions of dollars in total market cap.

Re: [ANN] MOO - Unlocking Global Game Payments and Distribution

With so many gaming related ICOs going on, what edge does this company have over the rest?

So far, we are the only company offering an aggregated payment platform directly within the Unity editor. Instead of competing with other companies, we work alongside local payment incumbents and game developers to cover larger revenue opportunities. We are currently Unity's exclusive partner with Unity in Southeast Asia.

Am I getting this right: Google Play store gift cards are not available in these Southeast Asian countries, so if you dont have a credit card you cannot make in game purchases, so with the gift cards sold by your local partners, one will be able to make stuff in game?

Yes that is correct, the Moo Store enables our local partner game credit cards to work with games developed on Unity Smiley

Sounds good, thank u, hope the ICO succeeds!

Re: Why the fuck did Satoshi implement the 1 MB blocksize limit?
by

I think 1MB is arbitrary, and just happens to be the status quo.

As I understand it, the people who want to keep blocksize as is want to maximise the odds of someone from a developing/under-developed country being able to eventually afford running a full node. Bitcoin is not just meant for us in developed nations, but the world.

Ironically, right now, transaction fees are such that these very people won't be able to use bitcoin. So that is a bit sad.

However, there are supposed to be scaling solutions in the works that don't require increasing the block size.

Personally, I'd rather have these scaling solutions put in place before we exclude a whole bunch of unbanked individuals just because we're impatient and want to play with our new toy.

Based on current hype, I think it's worth participating, although I think this is how we will know we have reached peak bubble.

Re: Why are transactions much faster now?

Is it likely that the drop in fees is because miner spammers are thinking twice about hurting the bitcoin name now that the entire crypto market is at a low point?

When BTC is at a high, it would be tempting to benefit from hurting its name. But now that everyone is hurting, it makes sense to ease off, rather than kill the golden goose.

Wish I could buy anything with BTC. The thought of not having to convert money to foreign currency when traveling is very appealing.

Sigh. Slightly disappointed that the road to the moon will be long and arduous. But I guess one shouldn't be greedy.

I predict that the charts will behave somewhat like 2017, and we can all expect decent percentage gains but not as much as 17.

Going to the gym and lifting heavy weights. The endorphine release after that is something else.

Since Vietnam is looking to legalise crypto, probably there. I really like Ho Chi Minh.

I wonder if Zimbabwe or the next currency that goes through unstable hyperinflation will adopt cryptocurrency instead of USD.

I would recommend Bittrex over Polo. Polo gets a lot of bad rep for being unresponsive to customer support tickets.

Re: How to be a billionaire in Cryptocurrency

While it is good for us to aspire to become billionaires, I think setting attainable goals and not getting too greedy is crucial in making money off cryptos.
