First video in the new series, the GeoCoiners guide to Ubiq! This video discusses the different Exchanges and DEXs that offer Ubiq and GeoCoin markets. GeoCoiners are encouraged to buy some $UBQ to gain access to the greater ecosystem.
Yea glad to be back! I think this video series could help draw some new attention, but I'm also open to other ideas for marketing.

Hey folks, sorry for the delay. I'm still working on the GeoCoin project and moving things forward. This past few years has proved to be quite challenging due to my full time work and helping my family through the pandemic, but now that things are getting more back to normal I'm having more availability for GEO developments!
Check out this map of all the beta testers around the world, the project has reached across many continents and countries. Not all of these users are familiar with the larger Ubiq ecosystem so I'm planning a series of videos to help explain all that Ubiq has to offer GeoCoiners.
In terms of source code, we are not an open-source project. Once we have the wallet backend fully up and running that will essentially be the full "launch". I've still got lots of learning ahead of me and will be relying on additional pro's in the Ubiq network to help get us there.
I'm not sure what's going on with messages being deleted from this thread. I've experienced that as well myself in the past where an admin felt my message was not relevant, hopefully that does not continue to happen here. For those who want to stay more active in the community and GeoCoin development conversation, I recommend you follow us on Twitter and join us in the #geo channel of Ubiq Discord: https://discord.com/invite/XaqzJB4
I see GMiner is one of the top recommended miners for Etchash. Just wondering if there is potential to add Ubqhash support to a future release? Ubqhash is another Ethash variant so should be similar process.

Thanks for the support everyone, the project is still alive and well!
Some more exciting news, we will be offering yield farming opportunities for $GEO holders coming up soon, now that we have the Shinobi DEX on the Ubiq network. Users who provide liquidity to the pools can stake their assets to earn Elemental GEO. These Elemental GEO will be used in the future for NFT series.
We're just getting started off now, so I just launched a poll on Twitter to see which Elemental the community would like to see represent GEO's Green colour. Get your votes in!
I'm very excited for GeoCoin and continue to stay dedicated to the project. Lets keep it GEOing!
Today we're joining in the festivities for the Southern Light event held in Decentraland. We will be giving away fun prizes of $GEO and $UBQ throughout the day. We hope to see you there!
Dave was invited to give another GeoCoin presentation to The Cryptocurrency Generation this Sunday Jan 3rd at 4pm PST. This event is held within AltspaceVR, no VR headset is required to participate. Come start off 2021 by RSVPing to the event. We hope to see you there!
Some good news, I was able to pair together my audio with my slides from my recent presentation about GeoCollectible NFTs. Just posted the video on YouTube for any who missed it
Ubiq has quite a large community of miners, but the current number of mining programs is somewhat limited. I'm reaching out on behalf of the Ubiq community to see if you're interested in potentially adding Ubqhash support, thanks!
Thanks for reaching out. We might have a look into adding Ubqhash support in the future.
That would be great! I'm happy to help test things out on some of my miners if you're able too. Cheers!

Hi weifa! Well, if it's only keccak -> blake in the dag cache build that differs it's quite simple. Our TODO list just keeps on growing though so I won't make any promises, but hopefully we'll find some time in the not-too-distant future.
Hey kearney thanks for your reply! Yes I believe Ubqhash does involve switching over the keccak -> blake as you said. One thing to mention is I believe the hard fork from Ethash to Ubqhash occurred at block 660,000 (epoch 22). I hear you on the TODO list, no rush on our front. If you get a chance in the future to add support I'm happy to help try it out on some of my miners, cheers!

Great job with TeamRedMiner! I found your miner on a list of Etchash supported miners, great job supporting the new Ethash variant.
I was wondering if you had any interest in adding support for Ubqhash?
