Glad to see you act so fast but really all the fuss for 9 active miners contributing less than 1KH/s hash, finding 1 block a day of 8 coins seems a bit over kill. Most of the pools are dead. Rented hash attack did more damage to cryptonight coins that the so called bug.
346.66 KH/sec total network now and for a long time.
My theory is it's an attack from a government or rival coin. I think they're spending way more money on rented hash, for a long time, then they stand to make from coin. I think XCI has the same issue.
Is it possible that is why the price went down ? At one stage it was 1500 satoshi per bip. It is still profitable to mine and a good coin. One of the better coins for sure. Also you around most of the time I appreciate that.please keep it up.
seemed to go back down when DotBip was cancelled.

Wallet does not start displays a message -- "wallet already running" What could it be?
What is "purse GUI"?
are you running the GUI and the CLI at the same time?
I'm guessing it's translated, and meant to say wallet instead of purse.

those are the different power levels for the gpu. so the lowest is for 2D mode when you're no utilizing the GPU, the higher ones are for more demanding application calls.

i mined on that pool a couple days ago, it's legit. bipcoin protocol locks payments for 60 blocks before they can be spent/sent. it will pay out.
Hey dudes. I heard about this coin on the Crypto Show, and decided to try mining for the first time.
Just wondering if anyone knows how often the bip.cryptonotepool.com pool pays out? I haven't received a payment in the 12+ hours I've been mining. Also haven't received my withdrawal from Cryptopia after about 12 hours.. just hoping there's not something wrong with my address.
It pays out every 10 minutes, but not until you've mined at least 5 BIP. You're mining at a fairly low hashrate, so it might take some time. If you want more frequent payouts, try the democats pool.
Coolio, thanks for the reply.
Yeah I'm just using yam generic on Linux right now. I haven't figured out quite how to tweak it to use more threads / CPU, but I only had an hour or so to play around with it before I had to go to bed then to work. Also having a fun time trying to get NVIDIA CUDA drivers installed so that I can try GPU mining with ccminer. I refuse to use Windows in my home and this is one of those times where I think I'm making it hard on myself
Edit: Or I guess it may have something to do with the port number I chose (the one for low end hardware).. I'll update that when I get off work and see if my hashrate increases. Edit2: Just because I know you all were waiting on the edge of your seats, I downloaded minerd and compiled it from source and now I'm getting 2x what I was using yam..
for yam you need to add
Code:
-t X
to the terminal command, where X is the number of threads you want to use
