Can anyone else confirm the date? I've been looking for it and still haven't found the exact date yet.
There is no exact date yet. They only said Q3.

I don't really understand this. The IGNIS snapshot is after the ICO right?
NXT value will be significantly lower after the IGNIS shapshot, so Jelurida has to sell all NXT from the ICO before the snapshot (within weeks?), otherwise they end up with huge amounts of IGNIS and less money.

I don't think that development of ZCL is expensive, as i heard ZCL is the fork of ZEC as ZEC team is going to improve their project ZCL is going to implement these changes as well for ZCL.
The only thing that ZCL team is really need to do is marketing and spreading the word, requesting ZCL to be added to new wallets, exchanges etc..

I'm not seeing them doing a lot of marketing (Twitter & Reddit are not active, ZCLforum is down). Other ZEC forks like Komodo are doing a lot better.

Have recently ordered a ledger nano s and would like to confirm before using it.
Under such conditions, the attacker has forever to crack it and forever is enough time to accumulate statistical correlations using many side channel methods.
How long this process takes might be less than expected, but the important point is that if you dont lose your hardware wallet, none of these side channel attacks can be done.
If you want a hardware device that can withstand arbitrary amounts of attack after being physically lost... Well I doubt any such thing was ever possible. Maybe some setup with a deadman switch that pays out to a preset emergency address upon violation of the keepalive protocol, something like that would be needed to make sure funds in a lost device are recovered.
I wouldnt say they had forever, could you just order another nano ledger S then recover using the previous passphrase and send the coins to another secure wallet.
I would say your more likely to get caught with a malware key logger than someone physically stealing your hardware wallet. May not be perfect but for me its about risk reduction.
My guess is that if any side channel attack is going to be practical, it wont take weeks to perform, but more like many hours or a day or two. Otherwise it is just too long a time and as you say the funds can be transferred out
AFAIK you don't need another Ledger, you can recover the private key with just the 24-word passphrase (not sure about Komodo though).

It's currently very busy on the Ethereum network, because of the Status.im ICO.
So this Bittrex message look OK to me, I wouldn't worry.

No, you only get Ignis for NXT.
Price can be initially very high up to 3-4x ICO, then it will fall and prices will be around ICO as it usually happens in last time.
And then traders and speculators will cause the price move sides for sometime. Then it will all depend upon what the core team is able to show something solid or if something is screwed up.
It will also be interesting to see what the BTCD price will do. Should the price go up 4x ICO, then BTCD will probably explode too.
