Is there something wrong with Jackpot Coin? I have been mining JPC and haven't received a payout in the last 18 hours. When I check the web page with my wallet address it shows Confirmed but still not on balance, all the coins are sitting there not yet confirmed.

Thanks

Hey everyone thought I would share… My first attempt at solo mining tried it out on fresh coin. Didn’t go so well… Had to try it the hard way.

Being a n00b I made several mistakes. I had the github build from DJM34 with the freshcoin algo (thanks!)

Compiled on Kopiemtu 1.4 ( Thanks JK_14)

4 X 750TI Evga SC.

Wallet was on Windows 7 64 tried mining from one machine (linux) to another (windows) on the same network.

This is where the n00b problems began (mistakes were all me).

First I had named the config file in app/roaming freshcoin.config.text found that mistake and changed to freshcoin.config after about one hour after launch I gave up and went with the pool route. About six hours in and much googling I found the file should be named .conf once fixed and working I went solo all night {(ya! my first solo attempt (nothing)}. Switched back to a pool in the morning all’s good.

I don’t post often… I have learned a lot from all of you and wanted to share my experience and say thanks to all of you on this great forum, and for sharing your experience’s / information.

And a big thanks to all the developers for their contributions to cudaminer and ccminer (much appreciated)!

xnbya: Thanks for the reply.

Yes... while experimenting I have one other machine set-up this way and it does work only after the user has logged in then the program fires . I think I can have the user login automatically after reboot, only I believe one must set this up with no password don't like this idea as others use these computers?

The task manager route fires the program when the machine reboots after a power failure no user login required.

I have a question about viewing my Monero.bat file that is set to run on system start-up?

I have set the file to start on system start-up through Task Scheduler. I’m running Windows64.

I can see the program is running in task manager, however I would like to see my hash rate window (like I see when I start it manually). Is there a way / command I can use to view this?  Can I just open the .bat file again? I would assume this would open a second instance… Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

When I try to chat, "Signing transaction failed" error message appears.
How can I solve that?
Unlock your wallet.

I can't find unlock button anywhere.. Sad
delete your current wallet and create a new one  Shocked

ps: might think before following this advice

Debug console > walletpassphrase

Thank you.
But I could chat only one time.
Wallet is locked after the first chat Sad
Do I need to unlock my wallet every time when I chat??
set time out to 9999999999, it will be unlocked permanently.

New to this too... trying to understand. So in your example...

walletpassphrase = the password one would use under settings in the GUI to encrypt one's wallet?

foo = passphrase ^^

time out in seconds = length of time in seconds to keep the wallet unlocked ( understand). 9999999999 = indefinitely

walletlock = re-lock wallet

Thanks
