Maybe an online gambling site that allows all alts to be used? Cashier/Exchange other alts for XC or BTC for gaming currency. There would be profit just in the exchange of alts. I think it can be done.

Re cloak and DRK and alike, I think its good to have competition, but if we want to break in and make it I think you need a coin like XC
One simple reason... We want authorities to not want to "shut us down" for want of a better word, I hope people understand what I mean here...
As a starting point, a coin called CLOAK or DARK is not exactly what some people will think is a good idea.. I think XC can deliver to people all of the valid privacy / anonymous features they should rightfully expect without shoving it in your face and saying this is somehow related to the dark web / dark side of society etc etc..
This is where i see XC finding it much easier to get widespread adoption....
Well said. XC, DRK and CLOAK are already on the radars of the NSA and other intelligence agencies for having encrypted messaging. I feel like XC has a much greater chance of surviving. The main reason being that XCurrency is not prodominatly focused on blackmarket issues. Before someones screams out I am biased towards to XC: I have holdings in DRK, CLOAK, XMR and TOR just to name a few.
After all, this is the Crypto Currency world. IMO any coin that is developed should be based on encryption. Privacy is a VERY valuable commodity in this day of age.
This coin is launched and running without issues at this very moment. We had a misstep with a misplaced or not placed source code that pool ops needed to run the pools few weeks ago with the hlated launch then. We announced it would relaunch. It did 24hrs or so ago with a new genesis block, checkpoints , etc. I mined on that failed launch too. I'm mining on this launch as well as our other devs just like everyone else. We all take risks on these coins. Sometime it doesn't go the way we like. It happens. We are working hard to make this coin a success so that it go the way we like. Up! 
But You are a newbie,all the scams made by newbie, i will not trust you untill you do sometings.
We're all waiting for the DEV to deliver something, as we're all aware that 4 coin scams happened last week. Hopefully some of the senior members with coding skills will go through the code with fine tooth comb.
Sorry DEV but trust has to be earned, and we're waiting for you to earn it.

ANYONE selling xc please hop on to mintpal! I have set my orders up! I already bought up 500k nxt because there is no one selling xc

It has been a few weeks since I last made a post on these forums. Everything seems to be headed in the right direction as usual. I was one of the fortunate people to mine XC, and I am still holding every bit of my mining proceeds, plus a few more. I always said I was 100% a Long Term Investor in XCurrency.
I have dabbled in the crypto currency world for about 1 year. I have noticed that XCurrency is the first to release trustless 100% anon without block chain bloat. With even more features to be released that will make XCurrency bulletproof. Anon transactions are just being a small part of what XCurrency is about. With that said I am baffled by the insanely low price of XC. It appears that every time the devs release a new update with groundbreaking tech that no other coins can offer: the price of XC drops. For me it is a good thing because I am able to purchase more XC knowing my ROI is going to be rediculously high, but I am more concerned for the new investors who may not see the big picture, whom may lack the pateinces and have been contioned into thinking that all coins are just for pump and dump. There are a few bag holders in XC that could have cashed out many times, and walked away with many thousand of dollars, but they are holding, because they know patience is a virture that will pay handsomely in the end.

That's a good point you made. Unfortunately, the altcoin world is highly distracted with short term profits. There are many coins being launched weekly. Traders are looking to profit on these so called news 'waves' regardless of coins actually having the tech or not. The markets react to these news quite strongly also. I know this because I trade to make quick bucks. The price of coins is also an important factor. The more expensive it is the higher the risk for traders and also little profits....
So they pump cheap coins, make a cut (double invested, I made 6 btc within 3 days) and go to the next cheap coin. Its a good tactic and it works. Currently, XC is traded on these exchanges. You have to give it something totally out of this world to pump the price. Proof of blockchain is my pic. That not many even know of atm.
The bag holders in XC know that when this coin hits mainstream a price equivalent to DRK is nothing. XC will get there in due time. In fact, I believe, it will do better. $30 for a coin is nothing. And if it gets recognition from mainstream bitcoin users XC could be a niche market for the elite consumer because of its limited supply and functionality.
Either way. I can't wait for the marketing campaign to start, and proof of blockchain to be implemeted; this is something that could take XC beyond another crypto. It's essentially a link to every other crypto in existence but a validator...an auditor. That's huge!
I agree with everything you are saying as well. I have been lucky, and managed to mine the most profitable coins at extremely good rental rates, but 9 times out 10 it is mine the coin, dump the coin at or near the top of the pump. I actually feel bad that is the best way to make profit in the alt world. ATM this is a miner's market. Its basically comes down to whcih coin dev has the best scam.. mine the shit out of that coin and sell quickly. This scenario is killing the alt world, it is also hurting the very few legit coins like XCurrency. TBH the alt crypto's are not much better than the Fed reserve.
Serious investors ie. big money will not take alts seriously. The only Alt coin that gets real attention from the big investors is XC. While the other coins boast about anon that basically only serves one niche, and that is the black market. While that has a place in the real world, XC is a complete platform for all businesses and other uses even the black market if some choose to go that route.
I feel like a lot of people are missing the boat by pigeon holing XC as just the best anon coin. While it is the best anon coin available, that's just a very small part of XC actually.

Hey guys, I've been using my wallet without issues for over a month, but I've started having some "syncing" issues with my wallet now. I installed the newest version but still have the same issue. I tried deleting everything except my wallet.dat but still it seems to pretty much halt around 50%.
Any Ideas? Thanks.

I am really excited about the release of Rev.2 Not just from a price increase, to date the Devs have been on time with every release. It also appears that the team always give something extra with each new release.
I have been here (reading) since thread one around page 200.. started to become active within community around second thread page 100.. If a coin is legit it is this one and we all know it.
My biggest fear is having any financial issues that would force me to sell any XC. I guess that's a good problem to have though.

I don't know much about youtube (number stats) since I don't use it, but he seems to be a popular guy. I don't think he's the type of person to represent XC IMO. Tech product hype, consume consume consume (taking a stab on what his videos are about) vs storage and transfer of wealth. He's too small to represent XC is what I'm saying.

While I think its a great idea to list this information here on [Suspicious link removed]. You know, you're own website where people are actually managing their investments in your exchange. Ok, I understand they have to make an effort to distribute the information.

Its very frustrating to check a coins page and find a 404 error with no explanation at all. I really do not understand how you can have a News page at https://www.bittrex.com/News and yet there is no news listed there that these Coins were being removed.
Is it unreasonable to think maybe you should care enough to inform your clients of this at the place where they actually conduct business with you and not on some other website with no real affiliation at all to your business?
Is it so much to ask that notification be made on the actual page that will be delisted or must we check in at bitcointalk once per week to receive our news about Bittrex.com? Oh, wait. I have to check in every 3 days because you dont get a week for coins to be delisted.
I think it is ridiculous that we get 72 hours notification posted on a third party website with absolutely ZERO notification made on your own website about the status of these coins. Its as if you cant be bothered to offer more than a new topic on this forum.
Is this the Official Support forum for Bittrex and should we expect that all important announcements will be made here or should we also dig around in your website for random blog postings before we check your social media pages for status updates?
By posting this information only here in Bitcointalk its almost as if you have made the announcement to everyone except your clients and allowed them to take advantage of what amounts to insider information based on its limited release.
GunCoin was only released on May 1st and you did not list it on its first few days so by delisting it on June 2nd you did not even give it a full 30 days before you announced its death. You must realize that by making this announcement you destroy any value that was left in any of these coins and make it more difficult not only for the coin to succeed but also for your clients to properly manage their investments.
Bittrex.com is where I conduct business with your company and Bittrex.com is where I should receive notifications that relate to my investments with your company. Its the fiduciary responsibility of Bittrex to provide vital news and announcements that relate to financial investments where it's clients can easily access them and this posting does not satisfy those requirements.
Now I have to consider whether or not I should continue to invest with a company that does not seem to care about its clients and is only concerned with the volume of trades made and the associated fees they earn. I'm not upset the coin was delisted but rather at the lackadaisical attitude towards client assets and the improper way news announcements are made by Bittrex. Is this what I should expect from this company?

I'm one of your client trading cryptocoin on bittrex and I just found out this de-listing list link today, and it's give me a chill down to my spine on how bad you treat your client who are the source of your income.
I use bittrex for my daily trading for quite sometime and I actually like to trade on bittrex, but the big question mark and the chill that comes down to my spine is why in the hell I have to found out the de-listing list on Bitcointalk forum and not on your site, the site that I conduct my business and the site that you (bittrex) conduct your business.
It make me think hard and deep on the possibilities not to conduct business with bittrex anymore.
It's so unfortunate, I like to trade on bittrex ... but right now, I feel like I'm being kept in the dark and the mutual benefial relation-ship is going down the drain as I felt I'm on the side of the disadvantage as I have to scramble to look for the information by myself ... even right now, I still couldn't believe my eyes when reading this thread ... in this age of information vastness ... bittrex choose to announce the most important information regarding basic business structure for my business and for their business .... not on their own website ... but on others ... I think this beta is dangerously close to scam to keep XC coins...

XC has increased 50% pricewise in the last few days, you need to take that into your math.
I also don't think the pool has been up for 3 full days, we were down earlier this week.

I've got 2 Nvidia 670 and 1 Nvidia 660 pointed at your pool. At other pools, I'm rocking over 3 MH/s - On your pool it's showing on average 1.5 MH/s. At first I thought it was something with my rig, so i pointed it towards another pool and ran it for 2 hours, it shows 3.1 MH/s. I then pointed my rig to your pool and i'm back to 1.5 MH/s.
So I pointed 1 Nvidia 660 card to your pool right now and it's showing 1.5 MH/s. Something is missing on your end.
As I said to you on private message, maybe others can chime in too, but using the 3 above NVidia cards to generate 3MH/s scrypt? Really?
According to https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison#NVIDIA you should be getting no more than 700KH/s with overclocking included. Lets just say 1.0 MH/s for arguments sake.
