Crazy shhhhhh what a coincidence...! Down goes the last king of Crypto Kingdom.
Somehow Mala inspired me back in the days, the secret ascending wealth-shifting of the new digital cypherphunk movement against the establishment. Anyways, it was a disastrous investment, even for an intelligent crook like RP.

Did that interview with a selfmade millionaire probably make investors of his project feel unconfortable and make them diversify into XMR? Just speculating...
Ok... I haven't dropped in here in a couple of weeks. And I'm quite surprised Fluffy Pony is in here typing in all caps. So something must def be up.
Too lazy to back read right now as I'm in a noisy bus trying to get home. Can anyone give me the tldr version?
Only the usual Monero-trolling counter-trolling. Everything's fine.
I checked the weekly BTC chart just to realize that the price retraced a 100% from ATH in 10 weeks. We can now proudly call us a common pump&dump! Honestly I don't remember the price being in the reds for so long, BTC frenzy sucking all fortune seekers in.
To me it shows how early stage XMR still is, no doubt there will be a morning of awareness for lots of people once the imperative necessity of fungibility kicks in. Time is our best friend.

Re: The lagest Bitcoin mixer is about to stop working
After the deep investigation I confirm that MONERO is the best privacy currency. So I strongly recommend MONERO for all people who need extra privacy.
Monero is bullshit. Dash is also bullshit. They are effectively scamcoins in a sense that they boast about having privacy while in reality they have weak privacy. They should not be advertised as good for privacy because their privacy is directly derived from the assumption that they are massively adopted and the most dominant crypto out there. Here's a reality check. Are they massively adopted and most dominant cryptos? No they are not. Hence, their privacy, which depends on their adoption, is badly lacking. They are not anonymous. So please, stop spreading misinformation.
Lol. Naming monero and dash in the same phrase shows how clueless you are about what you're talking. And that from a legendary tsts

agree on all points except monero would get .1 for unlimited supply
In 300 years, XMR supply will still be less than Litecoin supply.

In truth, that may still be the case. Following the disappearance of the site, members were able to track their bitcoin wallets being emptied into several other accounts. The way in which the wallets were emptied was in a manner more common to an Exit Scam than a Law Enforcement seizure, so members currently think the other Alphabay owner, Alpha02, may be emptying the accounts and running with the assets. Those Bitcoin Wallets continue to be emptied today.
That could explain the down pressure on XMR price...

Good decision on postponing Tumblebit release if it's not 100% bulletproof. Folks should feel more confident about this project now. Ignore the trolls and dumpers and move on.
Which one do you think is more solid business: A business that pays salaries and have regular contributions, and an ongoing marketing team preaching the good news or something that relies entirely on volunteering? You know, the contributors need their daily bread so rationally they should not sacrifice more time for free than for paid hours... After all, the volunteering benefits more the community than the individual even if the individual have a stake of the pie.
Eeeeeeh, is a decentralized, global and free payment network a business? Money should be as neutral as possible. What if a business can't afford to pay salaries anymore? Sure all employees will keep on working for free haha. A pity the shortsighted world you live in, where money values more than freedom.
It will take some time to attract the chinese to the XMR forum on 8BTC and build a community, meanwhile some further updates will improve the usability. It is just important to start and I think it is a good way to let XMR grow in China.
I am honestly surprised that it wasn't already popular in china. I mean if anybody needs privacy it would be the Chinese. Regardless, anybody have any idea how it will affect the price?
China is gonna ban Monero and then it's over. It'll probably tank to 50.53402600 USDT, consolidate, arise from its ashes and do the Bitcoin. Die and be reborn forever, imprisoned inside trending triangles with an eternal looming SOON on the horizon. Consider this, you can checkout any time you like, but you can never leave...just be left behind.
I'm just getting back into Crypto, I could be wrong but the Monero community seems to have an unhealthy and ungrounded amount of faith in the coin that's all.
And other crypto communities don't?
Here's a hint: Read about Hidden Champions. All of them have one basic thing in common -> specialisation. Monero specializes on one simple (complex) thing: Being eCash. Nothing more, nothing less. And it works already remarkably well.
Maybe the amount of faith people put in XMR is actually a healthy and grounded sign of awareness.

From a TA perspective, as this would seem to be the most reasonable move, i guess we won't even get under .016. And if so, you'll need some quick sticky fingers. No advice, just an idea.

Re: 📁 novusphere.io 📁 Crowdfunding now over! 📁 Open Development 📁
In terms of development the few things we have chosen to focus our immediate attention to are the following points
...
While the actual functionality of the web wallet will likely drastically change, we feel it would be worthwhile to familiarize users with a consistent interface for when we're ready to transition in the future.
We've also mentioned prior how we are looking to integrate atmos into the platform which will effectively emulate how things will work once it's fully decentralized and we're ready to make the transition away from the temporary blockchain. Again, this is some time from now, but it's worth familiarizing people with these things as even though it's an emulation the "feel" of it will remain the same while the underlying mechanisms will drastically change.
Our primary focus in terms of development currently is working on things that can benefit the current atmos coin as well as benefit our future development plans in re-usability which allows us to prevent sacrificing time by going on a tangent.
...
Hey asphyxia, it reads as it's not only you working on novus. Could you clarify how many people actually are working on this project? Couldn't find information on that, i'm not on Discord though. So if that has been clarified there i'd appreciate a quote here. Thanks!
Don't know about coinbase, that's too much wishful thinking for me. But i'm pretty confident that breaking resistance here could bring a new xmr/btc ATH at around 0,028 - 0,03. Classic monero friday pump anyone?
Aren't you worried it becomes impossible to compete with darkcoin for the 1st place among anonymous coins?
No. D is no competition to Monero. Everybody in here knows that, you as well. Think longterm, be patient, stop trolling. Thanks.

Why does anyone even consider buying Zcash at these levels? Because of fundamentals? LOL. This coin is for the big boys of crypto elite, welcome to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHOAKWzDH-Q
Joke aside, the only reason to get in would be to make a quick buck, and then only when the final bottom is in (at least for me). But no one (except certain string pullers) knows where that is... I'll stick to a much more legit anon coin meanwhile.

Re: 10 btc in XMR and 10 btc in ETC.... Balls of steel, or plain stupidity?
ETC is the best choice to have right now if you ask me, we are going to see the full potential of it very soon. About XMR, I don't think so that the investment would be very attractive.
by the time this topic was created XMR was the hot coin of the day and there were lots of profit opportunities there to take advantage of. and i actually still think that XMR will rise again in the future when this pump is done and over and after a period of silence.
Yeah I agree, there was a bubble when the thread was created, I heard that XMR is pretty popular in some trades, though there are lots of controversies regarding this coin that somehow hurt it. But well pump always happen in the least time expected. Probably after the accumulation of whales, this coin will be pumped again.
What controversies? I've been in this community for over 2 years and witnessed no controversy at all. But you'll find a lot of negative aspects if it's your desire, or fits an agenda... I advice to read up on XMR, its rock solid cryptography, and see how devoted this community is. All attacks on Monero so far, on a technical as well as on a political level, have been refuted succesfully. Those 10 BTC in XMR wouldn't bother me. ETC for the moment is just a P&D and has to prove itself first, we'll see if it can form a bottom here.

Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS
it will likely be a year or so before things really starts moving.
You're an idiot. So sick of people talking out of their ass.
I agree with you on ppl talking a lot of irrelevant, speculative bs, but insulting someone for pointing out his opinion is even more stupid. His scenario may be conservative, nothing wrong with that as absolutely no one in here (even the Stratis team) has any clue about where this project will be in a year. At least his opinion is grounded, compared to all those MOON kiddies in here.
You should think about what it means to be part of a community, such unreflected behaviour is what distinguishes good projects from those that end up in limbo.
I think it was more of a letdown effect to new investors and users because they expected an official GUI wallet already and there was not.... I'm pretty sure once it arrives, all these people who sold out at any point in the past will really regret it, but that's just my .02 xmr
I see it's back on the upswing atm - 0.01558023 BTC
Agree. I've seen that sentiment as well, a lot of newcomers not trusting the devs as well, thinking XMR is simply a common P&D coin. So in the end, there shall be FOMO.
