On that note. I been doing solo mining by renting rigs but when I'm not renting, i do have cpu miners going just for that wild chance. I know when I do these cpu miners its likely nothing, but I didnt know I could be harming the pool? If so I will stop.
What software are you using to CPU mine?

There is no minimum, but the difficulty is set to 10,000 which would take a few days for you just to find one share. If your toy supports the --suggest-diff command, set it to 1 and it will happen sooner. I'd prefer if you didn't mine with it except for playing for a short while though; you are not really doing anything useful and are using almost as much of the pool resources as the biggest miners. I won't stop you, but I will discourage you from trying.
Yea, just wanted to make sure it was working. If I keep it going I'll likely point it at the node I've been running for a few years.

I've setup a NERD MINER v2. My hashrate is 20KH/s... Yea I know, I'm just messing around. Long time miner so I'm just asking is there a minimum hashrate for my stats to show up on the pool?

I have several of these motherboards. They are my go to board. I don't like to build rigs larger than 6 GPUs, but I have tested and can run all 6 PCIe slots and 2x M.2 with adapters.

Anyways it's not dangerous to use one 8pin connector but I gotta tell you that it's not going to work, the gpu won't display any shit, 2x 8pin was planned for the gpu for a reason, it's like you saying the manufacturers don't know what they are doing
None of the more recent cards work with one less 8-pin plugged in, but I think almost all of of my RX580 cards that had 2x 8-pin or 8-pin + 6-pin worked fine with only one 8-pin plugged in. I can't remember all of them, it wasn't many. One was a Sapphire.

Where did you download it from? I downloaded it from the scam .org website. I formatted the pc for weeks now, but I'm still scared.
ONLY download PhoenixMiner from the Mega.nz link in the first post of this thread. Never use any other link, including links outside of the first post of this thread.
PhoenixMiner will post the betas in later posts of this thread, which I wish they wouldn't do and we could just tell people to only use the first post of this thread. For now, ignore the beta ones, just use the Mega.nz link in the first post of this thread.

Does anyone here use the CDM with PhoenixMiner? I keep getting connection refuses. My settings are

Not a direct comment at the OP, but most people posting are ignoring the cost of electricity. I realize that someone who mines on one or two PCs either doesnt care or doesnt pay (thanks Mom, if you only knew).
That said, right now mining any RandomX coins has very little profit. Im still hashing away at 60KH/s, making a couple dollars a day if Im lucky.
Example...
3700x system getting 8150 H/s @ 126 watts (whole system, at the wall). Where I live, that is $0.40 per day on power and Ill make (as of today) $0.61 on Loki. So, $0.21 per day profit! I can by a coffee a week.
Just hoping the first few weeks after the Monero fork are much more profitable so I can break even, good news is that if Im not I can still sell this stuff. At this rate, 2700 days to break even. Not complaining. I love this shit.

However, it's kAmp, not Amp.
The kAmp is part of the surge protection rating. He is talking about the line amps. I'm not an expert of surge protectors but I believe what this means technically is... The surge protector can handle up to 10A / 2300W running through it on normal use (the mining rig can pull that much, need to follow the 80% rule though). The surge protector can survive a 13kAmps surge (that I am not sure about). There are a lot of really smart people here. I'm sure someone will clarify, but I do know we are talking about two different things.
Also - Surge protectors don't live forever. They might "function" but they can lose their ability to protect.
I am in the US. I have a whole house surge protector but that doesn't protect you from surges on the same circuit. So I use a combination of a whole house surge protector, PDUs, and 240v capable surge protectors per mining rig. Having the ability to plug multiple devices into the single power strip / surge protector comes in handy. For example all of my rigs have multiple PSUs plus a fan. I can control all three devices by plugging them into the power strip / surge protector. Here is how I have it setup.

Same results here on the same pool. O/C to 750.
Results over the last month would be declining were it not for the surge in crypto values.
About the same, different coin, different pool. You can see my post above. My Zen/day has dropped but the value has gone up. My Zen/day has dropped about 25% in the last 30 days. If it keeps dropping at that rate I'll break even in another 50-60 days. That is at full price, but given when I repurchased my BTC I should breakeven faster.
