A feature suggestion: "Auto Benchmark":

User selects profile and precision, AM then starts to benchmark all algorithms (like 'Select All' in the benchmark window). After it has finished benchmarking, it will save the results to the profile and automatically start mining using the new results.

Maybe a window with a summary of the results could be added too.

Awesome Miner Version 5.3.4 (Development preview of 5.4)

- Added YescryptR16 and Allium algorithms, including support in CpuMiner-Opt

Thank you for adding those algorithms. Allium is also supported by ccminer.

Awesome Miner version 5.3.1
- Excavator 1.5 supported. This mining softare only works with the Nicehash pools.

I think it would be better to make separate entries for Excavator 1.4 and 1.5 (and remove the old excavator). Version 1.4 works fine with other pools and is the fastest software for some algorithms. Version 1.5 could then be Nicehash only.

The latest releases is by default only listing algorithms where you have a pool available for the profit switcher. If you want to do offline benchmarking (supported by ccminer and a few more), click the box for "Benchmark without a pool" in the Benchmarking dialog. This should make phi2 available again.

I've added a number of new pools for the next release, including those you suggested.

I manually added phi2 pools for ahashpool and zpool, and ahashpool is enabled, but it doesn't show up in the benchmark window. Maybe "User defined online services" are ignored there?

Thanks for adding more pools.

phi2 is missing here in the benchmark dialog since the last update.

Also please add phi2 to ahashpool/zpool (port 8332). Groestl is also still missing from ahashpool.

Thank you for the frequent and regular updates.

Since bminer now supports Ethereum and also Dual-Mining, would it be possible to add support for this?

'View Details' uses the saved hash rate. You can save the currently mining hash rate by right clicking and selecting 'Save Hashrate...'.

The API for Excavator 1.5 has changed (again), so Awesome Miner would need an update to support it.

A few minor issues:

- Algorithms: Please add Allium (supported by cpuminer and the next release of ccminer) and YescryptR16 (supported by cpuminer)

- The following algorithms are missing from the ahashpool default list: YescryptR16, Blake256r8 (is this 'blakecoin'?), Groestl, KeccakC, Quark, Qubit, X16r, X16s

- When manually adding Quark and Qubit for ahashpool the profit values are exaggerated:

Thanks!

Love the new benchmark feature, but there needs to be a way to label custom added mining software:

It's a bit useless if you don't know which is which Wink

Awesome Miner version 4.4.6 (Development Preview of 4.5)

This is a smaller update to the previous development release, addressing a few points discussed earlier. This update also adds Ccminer KlausT.

Thanks for the quick update, the coin exchange display in the status bar works now for me.

The API change breaks Awesome Miner support. Can a compatibility mode be added or is an Awesome Miner update needed?

Thanks for letting me know. Is it a coin where you manually entered profitability information or what is the source of the exchange rate?

It's a coin with manually added profitability information.

Current difficulty and price can be seen here: https://garli.co.in/

Would be great if it could optionally pull this from the explorer - Awesome Miner is already able to pull my balance from this explorer using the API, so I guess it shouldn't be too difficult.

Awesome Miner version 4.4.5 (Development Preview of 4.5)
- Coin exchange rates in the status bar will always use the current exchange rate, independent from the coin statistics settings in the Options dialog
Any feedback is of course appreciated. Thanks!

Exchange rates for custom coins are now no longer displayed. I've added Garlicoin as custom coin, and previously it would list the current exchange rate. With the new version, it's displayed as "0,00".

Can't benchmark any dual algorithms. I'm getting "No pools specified" every time. Benchmarking single Ethereum works.

Found out why this happens - when you disable Ethereum for Claymore Dual. It still shows up in the benchmarking window, but benchmarking any dual algorithms then fails because it disables the Etherum main pool. Strangely benchmarking single Etherum still works though (even though it shouldn't even display the miner when its disabled).

Okay, thanks for the info. I was going by this list: http://pools.garlicoin.fun/ and choosing pools where it said "Allium ready: yes".

Can't mine any Garlicoin, shares are always rejected (tried 3 different pools):

It just keeps running and not marking the pool dead.

Awesome Miner version 4.4.3

- Improved compatibility for the Excavator mining software
- Improved support for running the PhoenixMiner software as user defined Managed Software using API compatibility with Claymore Ethereum miner
- Device profile configuration added for the new dual mining algorithms in Claymore Ethereum miner 11.0
- Correction to the profit switcher for selecting dual mining pools correctly

Can't benchmark any dual algorithms. I'm getting "No pools specified" every time. Benchmarking single Ethereum works.

EDIT: Also Excavator does some weird stuff. It seems to request jobs for every algorithm it supports. Part of the log:
