the pool and their webside is down since 12 now. maybe they pulled it, maybe the admin is just out for the weekend, who knows.

i guess it has to do with the hashrate exploding on that pool, from 18MH/s yesterday to ober 50MH/s today

there is one single miner in the stats-list with 20MH/s just alone him, either GPU or big CPU farm

Any other pools observing the same, hashrate going high with single miners holding big power?

Do we see the first GPU miners on that pool?

i am also mining in the yac.litecoin.net pool and yes, payouts are slowly because they have a different reward system and need 512 confirmations for a block!

But if you mine constantly for 24 and more your payouts will come

They are flowing in even faster now because since yesterday pool hashing rate exploded from 18MH/s to 53MH/s today!

(GPU Miners starting to get in, or is it the crash of WDC making YAC more profitabily now? Or both?)

guess many insiders do it at least the ones who are capable to write opencl code and they wont share their code with just everyone as long as they are making profit.

as soon as they dont make any profit anymore with mining they will sell the code, then when not making profit with selling anymore you will see it on github for free.

its just sad always the same, the guys with the big botnets or EC2 farms kill it all.

YAC was a bit different because of a modified crypto algorithm at least they could not use GPU at first.

i think any new coin should use a different modified crypto algorithm, this would make things a bit more fair since GPUs are out of the game the first few hours.
