Are you using Simple mining ti mine UBIQ?

Im trying and cant get it to work.

Question in other forum:

Hello all and Happy New Year.

To save me reading through 1000's of posts - which i will start doing - can anyone give me pointers on mining other Ethash coins on my AMD rig currently running claymore-eth-v10.2 mining Etherium?
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1

And NeoScrypt on my Nvidea Rig currently running ewbf-0.3.4b mining Z Cash.
--server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --user xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.$rigName --pass x --port 3333

I've tried changing things and i can't get anything to work.

A few pointers would be greatly received.

Thanks

W

So i just tried using my claymore miner in SmOS to mine Ubiq and i get nothing.
Basically changing -epool address and using an UBQ address:
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eu.ubiqpool.io:8008 -ewal 0x000000000000000000000000000000/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1

I get:
ETH: Stratum - connecting to 'eu.ubiqpool.io' <209.222.30.133> port 8008
ETH: Stratum - Connected (eu.ubiqpool.io:8008)
ETH: Authorization failed
: {"id":2,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":null,"error":{"code":-1,"message":"Invalidlogin"}}
Stratum - reading socket failed, disconnect
ETH: Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

Please read my posts from the last 2-3 pages on this thread. If you are mining Ubiq, you need to set "-allcoins exp" parameter. Also, read the entire readme.txt file, it will help you a lot, more than any of us. Cheers.

Turns out that SmOS which im using put the rig name as a variable at the end of the address '/$rigName' and thats what was messing things up in the end. Wouldnat have worked without the -allcoins parameter.

Apologies, just found and looked through the readme.

RTFM eh?

Thanks for your help @Coroto

Hello all

I'm having a nightmare with Claymore. Can anyone help?
So ive 4x AMD RX480s (Crimson 16.9.2) and 2x Nvidea 1070s running on Windows 10. I've removed the overclocking if that matters

Im using Claymore 10.2:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal ./ -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10

It works fine when benchmarking
EthDcrMiner64.exe -benchmark 1

But when i try and mine, i get:
GPU4, GpuMiner cu_k1 failed4, unspecified launch failure
GPU5, GpuMiner cu_k1 failed4, unspecified launch failure
GPU4, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU5, GpuMiner kx failed 1
GPU4 failed
GPU5 failed
... repeats above...
WATCHDOG: GPU error, you need to restart miner Sad

Sometimes is 3 and 4, the numbers seem to change.

Can anyone help please

Hello

I'm using 1070's mining ETH and SIA and i get a much lower rate on SIA using SM vs Claymore on Win10. 136 vs 265. Etherium is also lower per card, 25.3 vs 26.5.

Ive overclocked the SM setup and not the Win10 setup too.

Its something to do with the Stratum protocol which isnt supported by SM, can anyone help?

Just joined Simple Mining and am in the middle building my first rig.

Not sure i can read through 5600 odd posts, although i will search here if i get a problem.

I do have a question though.

Whats the difference between all the models on NVIDIA 8Gb 1080 cards? They range quite alot in price. Not the mini cards. The same goes for similar models, ie 1070s AMD 570's etc.

I've just pulled these two from Amazon:
MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X SLI DirectX 12 VR Ready Graphics Card (GTX 1080 ARMOR 8G OC)
MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8 GB GDDR5X 2560 Core VR Ready Graphics Card with Twin Frozr VI Plus RGB LEDs - Black

The second is getting on for twice the price.
