Seems like another project which want to create decentralised marketplace with own token. This one seems to target niche market, but on the other hand it seems to be executed quite well. With right marketing it may go somewhere.

Very valuable project. Nowadays its very hard to find good airdrops, because of deluge of shitty ones. Platform like this may help if it can enforce some ethics in this space. If only it will reach critical mass, it will be big.

I list Bitcoin because I feel in 2018 it will stop being as "special" as it used to be.
In 2018 most focus will be on increasing scalability and transaction speed. Also on reducing chain bloat problem.

distribure oras to original shareholders.
why?
because it is simple and fair and should be done from the start.
as long as majority of coins are not distributed some people will consider ora scam or at least fishy.
Fair distribution was advertised as kora main advantage, you made mistake with initial distribution but it is easy to fix.
there is no point in overthinking it.

To be honest I don't think Ora price will be low after AE launch. If people believe this coin has potential, then they won't sell it low. Personally I'm not selling my stake below 500$. First thing I will do is to vote to distribute remaining assets to current stakeholder. When there is no longer possibility for free shares, value will increase. Also this way each stakeholder has about 1/2000 of total coinage. This means for 500$ value of my share, we only need 1M market cap, which is not much for pure POS coin (for example current NEM market cap is above 4M USD).

50% of coin supply for shareholders is already quite low, I am against additional reservations, keep in mind that other 50% is already reserved for various purposes.
having public key on nxt is new kora shareholder requirement? first time i see this mentioned. may be little annoying for first time nxt users.

It is OK if some people sell cheaply. This way we exchange a shareholder who are not very enthusiastic about NEM for shareholder who is more enthusiastic. This way future value of NEM (but not necessarily current price) increase with every trade.

It sounds simple to sell while it is falling and rebuy at the bottom. But in practice predicting bottom is very hard. And if you miss it you are screwed (aka bear trap). This is why some people who believe it will rebound may prefer to hold.
Also when downward trend become more visible, people who hold now may decide to sell eventually.
