Governments have been attacking Bitcoin with the intention to create FUD in the people in order to stop its patronage yet Bitcoin is surviving. The governments are afraid of decentralization which do not allow them to have full autonomy over the transactions of Bitcoin.

Yeah me too, I am happy that a lot of new improvements happens in genesis project and there will be more to come. I have a feeling that genesis will have a high price when the bull run starts soon.
There is really no need for that since others will not connect their emotions to bitcoin. Usually those investors who are new will always do complain now because of market price movement which is really not that good. This thread which OP started is all about encouragement then maybe this will work to new investors here but not those who had been here more than 1 year in bitcoin investment.
It is normal to happen because they are new and don't have ideas about it happening to them, soon they will all learn this and they will become more patient this time.

Exchange is not the safe way to keep your cryptocurrency. Mt. Gox tragedy is already a lesson learned from this. It is still safe if you keep your cryptocurrency in your own device and make a backup for its private key. I agree to you, better to store it in a cold wallet or safe place that we have back up our private keys, me, I just transferred coins to exchange if only I will sell it that time.

The only problem with other crypto investors is that they panic during market crash and eventually panic sell their crypto holdings at a very low and losing price. Why can't they just hold on and wait for the right time?
We cannot blame them as they have weak hands and already have negative thought that bitcoin price will continue to fall and they have felt that its better to sell now than sell when price really drops.

Yeah, better to learn more strategies and techniques so we can be able to avoid losing a lot in cryptocurrencies. But holding of assets can surely give us huge profit in the future.
I think Altcoins have a better probability to nets bigger profits in the long run, if you just choose the right projects. Bitcoin and Ethereum will not, imho, have the x10 or x50 chances any time soon. But smaller projects which are promising have a lot more room to grow as exponentially, you just have to do some research and find the gems.
I agree to you, there are lots of potential coins that really have high chance of earning huge profit compared to bitcoin and ethereum. But the problem is how to find that gems now.
