Hi guys - it's not clear to me from the last umpteen pages of the thread, so I will pose the question:

Does upgrading from 14.4 to 14.6 increase the hashrate for x13 mining?


I can clearly see big gains being posted by lots of people for x11, but it's not clear if 14.6 is giving a big advantage for x13.   I have 14.4 drivers right now, using lasybear's miner, and am getting 2.54Mh/s on my 280x's with x13 mining at intensity 16.

Is it worth it to upgrade to 14.6?

Login problems for me were resolved sometime yesterday afternoon.

As to the verification queue, I dunno, but I only applied about a week ago and they had me verified up to Tier 3 in about 3 days.   I saw another user complaining on Reddit about having applied two weeks ago and was still waiting for verification, so I can only guess that there is a problem with your verification or its not a first-in-first-out structure for account applications....

I signed up with Kraken a few days ago and I have to say I'm really impressed.   The UI is slick and the tiered verification wizard is awesome.   Depositing my first bitcoins and placing sell orders is really straightforward.

Your post really fails to address why it's different.

Saying "A genuinely unique coin not just another litecoin clone" in a blog post doesn't make it true.   Nothing you point out is meaningfully different.

Hi Balthazar - as I mentioned before, I'm fairly new to mining.   I admit that I have stopped mining your pool while I wait for resolution for the issues that you are having.   I had just over 10 LTC mined before your accident, which is not much I know.

I would enjoy coming back to your pool with the new setup.  As others have said, it seems to be one of the most "honest" pools out there. 

But I do not want to actively mine until I have confidence in your plans.  I don't quite understand what you are proposing above.  Are you saying that you plan on paying off the old balances by redirecting pool fees until all the old accounts are paid off?   Will this mean that you will distribute the payments manually yourself, or will we have to log in to the old interface and withdraw our funds somehow?

Hi Balthazaar - I'm unable to set up a payment address in the Options page.   When I enter my address and the captcha code and hit "OK", I get an HTTP 500 Server Error.   I'm fairly new to LTC and hadn't gotten around to setting this up yet....

Hope everyone is using unique passwords at every forum & pool that they join.   You're crazy if you're using the same password/username at any two BTC or crypto-related sites.

Are you running a local proxy?  Is that proxy actually pointing at a pool?
