if i connect 10 gridseeds to a usb hub will it show up on cgminer as 10 individual miners? and does anyone think in the future they will hit 500 khs without the lightning asic controller firmware? as in just the cgminer run on windows?

I have 5 7970s and 4 gigs of ram. Runs good sometimes it freezes but I'm not sure its the ram or the fact I'm over clocking the cards.

 Gigabyte modo 990fxa
Amd semperon 145cpu
Kingston 4g ram chip
Thermaltake 1200w PSU
Corsair 750 w PSU
All cards on risers.

You need something to run the mining software, the controller or a windows/linux/pi box.  Not sure who sells the controllers by themselves they come with the 10 packs (LA3M)

I have 4 units on my windows 7 PC running the CPU miner
and I have to say they have not missed a beat
I have 6 more on order that I should get on Monday

I will try the PI later in the week

You are running with a USB hub to windows PC? I've heard rumors of the firmware update that will give 500 khs but they said that's just for the controller?

hey thanks for the great guide just have a couple of questions
1. why do you need that lightning asic router thingy cant you just use the usb hub alone?
2. where can i get one if i need one?
