@community, ask yourselves, who does all this benefit?

which other coin had the most to loose from sumo ie CN heavy gainning popularity?

it seems the vehicle used to bring this calamity about, is fireice who is alledged to be in trouble with the law thus needy of funds
would not suprise me to find fireice being officialy employed by Monero in the near future, or maybe he will also rebrand in an attempt to disappear

what the dev team does with their wallets/coins bears no relation to all this as long as the community feels value added on their investment in sumo

and who the hell is abe91q spewing this asic vommit?

fud was the weapon used to buy up the greater percentage of the London Stock Exchange after false news were spread of an english loss at Waterloo

I'm wondering about it as well, I did not have the courage to write it Smiley divide the community, destroy the original coin, abandon the new one and get reward from Fluffy. I still hope it's an insane conspiracy but we will see soon Smiley

Community voting - FairPool statement relating the recent split in the community

Being SUMO supporters since day 1, FairPool will follow the way the most of the community members decide to move further. Let's collect some data about the RYO(SUMO)'s community solidarity.

Mine at the FairPool https://ryo.fairpool.xyz / https://sumo.fairpool.xyz and participate in the community public voting:

Add SUPPORT_ORIGIN to the worker's name to vote for the current (original) chain
Add SUPPORT_FORK to the worker's name to vote for the forking off the chain

Example: Rig192SUPPORT_FORK and SUPPORT_ORIGINMyWorkerName both are valid and will be correctly recognized
PS: Live voting results chart will be available during the day

I kinda like your idea but is not only miners involved.. how should people who invested in sumo vote in this case.. this type of decisions must be done in a way everybody involved is capable to vote..

I think it will be, but this announcement comes from mining pool thus it's related only to miners. Best way would be join telegram group and ask PR guys about their plans. A lot of things happening these days, if you want to be informed, join TG, this thread is updated very rarely Sad

Is there a guide for transferring from the old GUI wallet to the new? The only guide I can locate only references the CLI.

it's simple - just create a wallet backup in old version of GUI wallet and open this backup file in new version of GUI wallet. I did it this way (on OS X) and it worked.

thats supposed to be in 2 months.

please stop panic, that was an old issue - CM wrongly reported SUMO market cap for some reason and this was fixed after intervention of members of SUMO community. Now the numbers are correct, this is the real market cap of SUMO. So calm down yourself buddy Smiley

Premine is still locked.

Sorry if this has been asked, but I've been searching google for 20 minutes and nothing.

HOW THE HECK do I move the blockchain location on a mac?
I don't want it on my main SSD.
I see no options to change the data directory.
I'm using the default GUI wallet from the main Sumo website.

Thanks in advance!

mv /original/directory/with/blockchain /new/directory
ln -s /path/to/new/directory/with/blockchain /path/to/original/directory

there's a test Mac GUI release here: https://we.tl/pnttx83t6h -- CLI is uploaded on github

if someone will try this testing MAC build, please share if you were successful or not. It does not work for me, GUI is crashing instantly after attempt co create new or import old wallet. After some time I discovered that I was missing libboost, so I installed it via brew, which fixed the issue with the GUI itself. Unfortunately wallet is still crashing because intensecoind is not running on my system, since it is also crashing immediately after it tries to load blockchain Smiley

Return my 45700 coins. I barely got them. What is my fault that you were hacked. It's your fault and only your fault! You yourself allowed to hack. 5 days I mined this coin on 4 gtx1080ti video cards. Do you have a conscience? Return my 45700ITNS. Why should people support you if you meanly do. Deceive people. From you one answer: Sorry. And what am I supposed to do with these apologies?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MPYiMmjCfoloEpG0NfBAGIyZNzjWyVCX/view?usp=sharing

You need to explain the situation for those of us who aren't mind-readers... Also, your wallet shows it is 7+ days behind synchronization, so maybe that's why your coins are missing? Dunno, because see previous sentence.

There is no way how to mine 45k ITNS with 4xGTX1080i in 5 days with current hashrate, he is asking for coins mined when pool was in incosistent state Smiley

Hi! Why do I sometimes have full synchronization, then 174372 -> 179096  Undecided

you have to avoid your daemon communicate with v3 of nodes. use dedicated v4 nodes like this:

intensecoind --add-exclusive-node 140.82.9.90:48772 --add-exclusive-node 62.48.164.60:48772 --add-exclusive-node 69.162.83.202:48772 --add-exclusive-node 5.249.27.162:48772 --add-exclusive-node 54.37.87.203:48772

and if possible, use the most recent version of daemon, i had a strange blockchain overload errors until I compiled a newest one from git repository a hour ago

How many blocks are there? 174131 or 179095? I think the wallet is confused. He said synchronized at 174131.

Monero's (XMR) highest pool hash rate is around 35% of the network while this fork is at 76%. So much for decentralization. LOL!

more important issue is that all stupidity in this SUMO thread is centralized in one person. We should do something, perhaps find another retards to support decentralization. Please ask your friends from XMR community to join us Smiley

Hi guys

What do I need specify in xmr stak to mine ITNS? I tried intense and monero7, both times shares are rejected.

Cast xmr is working 100%, but not all my rigs are on windows.

Using xmr stak 2.4.2 mining to hashvault.

Regards

it works with latest xmr-stak (2.4.3), use --currency cryptonight_v7

Hey. What's the point of the lite wallet that is coming out? I like current wallet except for the graphics which should use the black and blue design of the website

with lite wallet you don't need to have a local copy of blockchain on your PC

cast-xmr will not help with your problem. CN-Heavy doubled it's memory requirements, so now you see only ±50% of your old Cryptonote hashrate. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

feature is good.. but if lost 50% hashrate(hardware that not have 4Mb+).... it's now we mine only 50% from old hashes, -50% profit?

no, because all of us who mining SUMO fighting with the same hash drop. Even Vega cards lost a lot. There is no real disadvantage for you.

I was wondering, how the change from cryptonight "normal" to "heavy" algorithm has influenced the hashing power of different mining hardware.

Therefore I made simple hashrate "study" for my 3 (small) systems - if anybody is interested --> http://sumokoin.aeko.at/sumoheavy.html

Curious about other hardware experiences / figures ... and possibly about improvement of my settings Smiley

I see the same problems (with xmr stak)...I hope cast xmr will be updated soon.

"if this coin can survive so long time"

How can a coin which has a full team of skilled people working on it die?

Easily, development will last much more longer then expected, investors decide to leave and it's over.

Besides, the coin lives on even without investors.

someone has to pay for your work. Or are you a volunteer?

that's what premine is for.
to fund development.
on a side note, I did a lot of volunteer work in my life; you never know what comes out of a good project even if you work for free.
think linux, PHP, mysql and most of the opensource out there.
oh, and I was forgetting about a project named bitcoin.

OK, thanks for explanation. Hope you will succeed with your project and there will not be any significant delays in development. Good luck Smiley

1000 sat is the next goal

I hope it will be 0.1$ again Smiley

Indeed. I think it is possible with a successful launch of the VPN and a market recovery.

I think that launch of VPN service anytime soon is unrealistic, if you take a look at the current development status and the amount of work the devs needs to finish, they will need at least 4-6 months to release something useful. Question is if this coin can survive so long time. I was a large supporter of ITNS but currently I'm quite skeptic about future. Idea is good though. Market recovery is another topic and the question is how long it will last Smiley

Unless you know more then i do ( which obviously you dont ) our first product will be out before the end of summer.... Thats 4 months max... If a coin can survive until then? Check feathercoin, monacoin, and all the other useless coins still alive without a proper skilled team behind them.

a few days ago someone from your team told that there should be something released somewhere in Q2. Now it's up to end of the summer. I hope you are right.

price and volume can get lower, but the product is coming, so there is no way it can die!
Besides, Verge was just hacked and it was a mess. That coin has huge volume and market cap, but it went into real trouble, how can you explain this? Easy: you can pump a coin with no project and no skills behind it, and you can have a great projects with low volume.

I cannot comment Verge, I do not follow this currency. I'm mining/hodling ITNS from 10/2017 until now.

There is almost no relation with the technical value of the coin in most cases. Not now in history, at least.
