BTER has been hacked a year ago, and many users lost their Bitcoins. BTER is working fine and they returned minor amount of the owed funds a few weeks after the hack to calm people. Over one year has passed, and they didn't return and more of it - they still owe me 1.7BTC !!!

There is no information or news regarding stolen funds nor do they answer any support tickets or emails regarding that. Complete silence...

Anyone have any information? I would stay away from trading at BTER, don't know when you can lose your funds...

You are forgetting an important thing - This is internet, anything can happen. If there is enough demand constant through time, Doge can get a nice price. However, 2$ is hardly possible in this or another year.

I don't really see how could Doge keep people interested that long. However, community is better than on all cryptos together. By my opinion, that is the #1 most important thing for something to succeed.

A lot of fuss, but in reality, what's new? Hard to mine, low amount of coins (not usable in rl) - it will be valued on exchange, but who would want it? What do you offer in return? What are you aiming for? Whats with block reward? 400k, then 1, then 64, wtf? Instamine?
