Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ?

Currently crypto is still illegal in my country, but for more than 2 years entering the market I have not had any problem convering from crypto to our local fiat, because all are private transactions and banks cannot control them. And crypto companies are all based in crypto-legal countries.

Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away
by

As we can see, bounty hunters are a lot more knowledgeable than ever before, so the shit coins I see are very few people joining their bounty. But that also means that good bounties will become more and more competitive.

Re: Are we getting better over the years
by

I doubt the last sentence that says there are still many good projects coming in. There are actually a few novel projects out there. Many of them become dead even before they are listed. The truth is that the underlying blockchain technology is what is seen as a massive usage in implementation and only a few will include token to function as utility within the system. Those projects that early developed are still waxing strong while new one are coping
That is the nature of a nascent market like crypto, because there will always be new projects with better technology and application of existing projects. And in the end, only projects that prove their ultility will survive.

Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES

Bounty campaigns always follow market developments, so the timing of participation needs to be appropriate. This year I see bounty earnings quite stable, much more so than 2018 and 2019. It looks like a positive sign for future bounty projects.

Re: Escrowed very important for bounty?
by

on 07/11/2020, 15:14:23 UTC
I think it doesn't matter if you get the token but it is not listed on an exchange or listed but becomes worthless. Escrow is only important for projects paid by BTC or tokens with high liquidity.

Well, you've probably had little to do with bounty campaigns. Signature campaign paid in BTC are escrowed almost always. Besides, they are paid every week, which reduces the risk, because in case of problems, you only lose a week spent on promotion. In the case of a bounty campaign, they can last up to several months. If the project fails or turn to be a scam - we are unlucky, or we make researched the project badly. Escrow is to prevent bounty hunters, for example, from the fact that the developer changes his mind and reduces the bounty pool before they distribute rewards.
Yes I know but we don't have much choices now. Almost projects which have bounty campaign reduced their pool, and applied vesting schedule for us.
And with a small amount of good bounties today, we often have to accept doing bounties without escrow.

Re: Is it over for Binance IEO?

This time it seems everyone is focusing their attention on BTC, as it has reached $ 15k in almost 3 years, and everyone is waiting for it to cross the 20k ATH of 2017. Maybe when we have altcoin season again, Binance IEO will come back.

Re: Whats your thought about New projects?
by

on 07/11/2020, 15:05:44 UTC
The crypto world is growing every day and new projects come with new innovations, if they can make it happen I don't think that's a bad thing.
It's not a bad thing, but new projects are related to scammers, imagine 80% of new projects end up miserable,
lots of shitcoins popping up and making a bad view of the world of cryptocurrencies,
if the new project has strict regulations, then I will support it.
Well, it's like many startup projects out there, not just in this crypto market. After using up investors' money, up to 90% of startups fail. And this market is no exception.

I think once you have used Uniswap, you must know its safety precautions before swapping. Always check the contract token before trading, you will not be fooled.

I think bitcointalk is just a project information channel, so you don't need to be too important about the rank of the person who creates an ANN thread above. There are many large projects on the market today but there is only one fairly simple thread giving brief information about the project.

Re: Xcard a scam?
by

on 07/11/2020, 14:28:11 UTC
For a very long time I never heard of Xcard, I spent a lot of time doing its bounty. The market now cannot be more favorable, hopefully they will have some moves.

XCARD is already a failed project, not sure about their token sale if it actually happened, but if anyone contributed to their token sales, just forget about it and move on. I also participated in the signature, the white paper and project aim was top notch, some developers know what investors want and draft a project that will be so catchy. They even claimed to partner with VISA, we need to be extremely careful before making any investment in crypto, especially for new projects doing token sale.
Yes, I have checked it again and it seems like a dead project. I used to like you, believe in the potential they draw in the whitepaper, but it seems like any other project that appeared and disappeared in the market.

Waiting for a new trend, but we may have to wait until next year to wait for that trend. And the truth is that DeFi is over, with projects decreased more than 10 times, that means it is similar to the ICO projects of 2017.

Re: Why New Crypto Projects are Dump ?
by

on 03/11/2020, 13:47:36 UTC
Sometimes these projects are just a game created by exchange(s) to attract traders, by making huge volatility for it. Once they reached goal, those projects will gradually decrease in price and may lose up to 99% of their value, only reluctant holders left.

Nearly now I don't see any new projects with an anonymous team. Existing investors are wiser than they used to be, and only projects that really have enough potential can catch their attention.

Yes, for me BM just does their job and it's really hard. Bubbalex is a prestigious BM and he gives us really quality bounties. Perhaps due to too many scam projects in the past time, the attitude of bounty hunters has become so.

The biggest mistake that cost me a lot of money is trying to predict the top and bottom of the market. After many losses I realized that I only need to profit from part of a big wave in the market and preserve capital to be able to survive in this market.

Re: BTC trading pair or USDT trading pair?
by

on 31/10/2020, 16:44:50 UTC
Since BTC is also very volatile, trading pairs with BTC is more risky than trading with USDT alone. I usually spend only a small portion of my fund trading some altcoins / BTC pairs that don't have USDT pairs.

Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency?
by
wywoc
on 30/10/2020, 15:12:37 UTC
The only fear I got from new cryptocurrency is that as soon as they got listed on exchange and dump by hunters it dies right away. I had lots of tokens who ended up in that way and even some of them never got listed, all of my time and effort just become a waste for nothing. There's even a tokens worth of a penny.

One more thing I fear several new cryptocurrencies because they're most likely a scam. They used to be active during the campaign as soon as the campaigns end they literally don't respond to anybody, and yeah I experience that so be wary.
The projects you talk about are just some of the projects that have a bounty program. But projects listed on major exchanges like Binance rarely have bounty. And people prefer to trade these newly listed tokens because of its high volatility.

Re: Defi project like game pump and dump
by

Most projects in the past 3 weeks lasted for only a few days. Those projects are just simulations of real projects, even with good marketing, a lot of capital call, only fomo can only a few hours on Uniswap. Which means it's best not to hold it for too long.
