Since the recent dashboard changes, the recent rejected is not working properly, seems to be missing alot of records.

No code was changed that would affect this. I simply removed the Result column as it was not really needed since they were all rejected anyways. Smiley

feature request:
  • bulk pool priority change
  • drag and release to change priority of pools

These look pretty good. Please open an issue here with some more detail and we can get that labeled properly for you.

for the stale rate, won't it make more sense if it is daily or even life time instead of default interval 1h?
but for submitted share alert, i would probably like 5min. to check whether one card is down.
for hashing speed, 15min will be fine.

TLDR: I recommend separate interval settings for submitted share alert, hashing speed and stale rate.

You can always open an issue here for the recommended changes. Smiley

It looks like when we do a getwork request to MultiPool, they are also returning extra headers after the JSON string. I am not sure if they are checking user agent or what on their side. I have a work around so that the data makes it into the work_data table. Now, it still looks like it has a problem submitting the data. I will look into this later in the day (Saturday), after I get some sleep. I'm thinking it is going to be along the same lines, where as, after we submit the work, MultiPool returns JSON + headers.

EDIT: I have a workable solution. I was able to successfully submit work with the proxy to MultiPool.

I will discuss the fix further with cdhowie in the morning and see how he wants to go about implementing it.

Has anyone successfully used Multipool as a target pool through the Flexible Mining Proxy? cdhowie, have you tried it?

I've seen at least 2-3 reports in addition to mine claiming it doesn't work, and nobody saying it works for them.

No signup or setup is needed -- just connect to http://multipool.hpc.tw:8337 with a Bitcoin address as your username, and anything for your password.  I'd be interested to hear if multipool is broken for everyone....

I will take a look at this for you over the weekend.

those are not my queries! :O

Didn't explain the image, lol. The top results were from your optimized version of the first query and the bottom result was from the query as it is now. It may be displayed differently by phpMyAdmin, but it still runs the same. Like I said, I didn't go past comparing the first query until I got some clarification on if I was reading the results of EXPLAIN correctly.

Anyways, 2 first queries optimized, one less table to lookup, indices being actually hit. Far from being completely optimized (still a filesort happening!), but should proof to be an order of magnitude faster, DESPITE hitting more rows. I have NO way to test however, nor profile correctly due to lack of dataset size, so measurements would be less than error of margin.

Replace admin/index.php 2 first queries with those found at: http://pastebin.com/hwncLV1w

Looking at the image below, I fail to see how your 'optimized queries' are better. Maybe I just don't have a full grasp of the EXPLAIN command from phpMyAdmin, but it looks to me as your query scans all rows in the index, which comes out to 2436 with my current data set. That is way more than what the query was scanning before. Please correct me if I am wrong in reading the output. I only looked at the first query and stopped to get clarification.

Hello,

the Dashboard is getting slower and slower with the whole data.

Does sombody have a quick and dirty soulution to erase the "submitted_work" and the "work_data" every 24h ?
I thougt about dropping every 24h the data from hour 0 -> 23 ... so i keep some stats (like hashrate of the last hour).

If i make my cronjob working ...  i let you know ... if somebody does allready have one please let me know Smiley

cheers

How big is your database? Mine is at 19MB and my dashboard still loads in under a second. I have about 4-5 days worth of data in there. This is the same speed I get when accessing the dashboard from work as well, while it is hosted on a little web server in my basement.

Pci-e 1.0 card is compatible with Pci-e 2.0 slot. However, pci-e 2.0 card NOT backwards compatible with pci-e 1.0 slot. As strange as it is, there some mobos with exceptions, depending on the chipset. But one thing is for sure. That mobo has an OLD nvidia chipset that is definitely NOT compatible with a pci-e 2.0 card.

That actually makes sense.

Anyways, I went up to my buddy's PC shop and got the Foxconn A74ML-K for $50 and everything is working great now. Getting 310Mh/s so, no complaints here!

So ordering a bunch of parts from NewEgg is still a go?

How much do you think I should invest?

A Corsair tx850 v2 psu
134.99

Kingston 1gb ram
12.99

MSI 890FXA-GD70 Mobo
179.99

4 sapphire 5830
109.99 each

Do these look decent? How many should I grab

Good luck on grabbing those 5830s when they come in stock! They go quick.

If I am reading the stats right, it looks like we should get it pretty soon. Smiley .. Also, no stales!! Smiley

As for my 5830, I will have to order a motherboard Monday and get it overnighted so I will have him up and running Tuesday. For now, I'll put the 8800 GTX back in there and throw another 28Mh/s to the pool.

The PC will boot if the card is left in and I plug the monitor into the onboard DVI port. Yes, on the new PSU I am using it has 2x PCI-E connectors and that is what I am using. I think I may be out of luck as well. Sad .. I found a board on Newegg that is AM2/DDR2 with one PCI-E 2.0 port on it for only $50. I think I will just have to order that board. Thanks for all the help.

It has the latest BIOS v5.8, which are from 2008. The board does have on-board video which I can use too and that works fine.

I did a lot of reading and researching before posting and couldn't find anybody anywhere talking about using this board with a PCI-E 2.0 card.

I've been messing with this for days, tried 2 different cards, 3 different PSU's all with the same results. When I kick the power on, I hear 3 beeps, no video. My card I am replacing is a EVGA GeForce 8800GTX which works fine, but is obviously a shitty mining card.

This is an older system, so I've come to the conclusion that it is a problem with my motherboard. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Motherboard Model: MSI K9NBPM2-FID
Video Card Model: SAPPHIRE 100297-2L Radeon HD 5830 Xtreme
Current PSU: Antec HCG-520 520W

I've also tried the XFX Radeon HD 6950 in the same board with the same result as the 5830.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
