Jumbucks had around 3.6 Million.
1:10 Swap made UBQ start out at ~36 Million (3.6M x 10)
Then we have the addition of the PoW Blocks which will slowly add to the total coin count.

Pre-Ann for JBS to UBQ swap was posted in September 2016. There was 4 months from Pre-Ann to the Ann. Even then, you still had time to buy JBS pre swap.
There is no premine, there is no ICO. JBS was launched as a POW coin turned PoS. Then moved to an ETH based chain to allow for more flexibility for what the devs wanted to achieve.
If you are sad you only found UBQ now, that is your issue, not the teams. lol

What about the cost to mine 1 UBQ today, how much is it?
This really depends on a lot of variables with the main one being your local electricity costs.
We could, for example look at the cost of ETH rentals vs amount of UBQ received in return for x hash. You can work out an average cost per UBQ from that.
That is some simple maths you could work out.
You could also look at 1GPU with average of 30Mhs.
Then go fishing in a pool to see how much UBQ per Day someone with 30mhs is getting then divide that by local power costs on 500W for a local fiat cost per UBQ. Then just convert to BTC.
This has some issues however as China miners will be getting cheaper rates than say, US or EU Miners.
It all depends on electricity costs at the end of the day.
Something you will need to research locally for yourself then do some simple maths to find your answer.
It will be different for everyone around the world so there is no straight forward answer.

There's not a rush for the market to open on Bittrex, mate. Besides, the devs initially said "at least three days," meaning it wouldn't be before then. It hasn't even been a week yet, lol, we'll get on Bittrex soon enough. I'd much rather the devs have all the code optimizations in first anyway. That's why i'm invested in Ubiq, and mining it. Because it's a long-term project, not just some flash in the pan shit to dump on exchange add.

An insane decision about not inluding Claymore at launch time.

Claymore does not work until we reach Epoch #1 (Block 30k)
This is hard coded in claymore and as its not fully open source there is no way to compile one that will work before then.
This is a Claymore limitation, nothing to do with UBQ.
All ETH Chain coins will face the same issues at launch.

Trex has a banner on their page stating:

I see it as Trex is already doing all the swaps, so they will just let that happen then can add UBQ later.
They have a lot of markets, probably don't have time to set up a swap for their users.
why bittrex say JBS balances will be swapped at a rate of 1 JBS to 10 UBQ, I think JBS balances will be swapped at a rate of 10 JBS to 1 UBQ.

Both Bittrex and this ANN indicate the coins will be swapped at 1 JBS to 10 UBQ. If you have 100 JBS, post swap you will have 1000.
What if the market now trying to price in the swap and is starting to price find and trade at the expected post-swap price?

Please refrain from sending people your wallet/keys. You are lucky in this case as KashKing is a good dude.
For people with unsync'd wallets, you can use the swap method outlined in the Pre ANN, you dont need to move your coins for this process, so syncing is not required.
It's tough. You're torn between "hey, just fill out this form please so you don't have to send your keys" and "I know I'm a good guy, I can help this person out"
But I agree, don't send private keys around. It's just not safe.
I feel this is an important service to offer. I understand it takes time so I gave kashking a tip. It's like the credit card companies telling you not to share your card information with anyone but then people give it out on websites all the time because it makes things simple and quick for them.
The issue with giving out private keys is most people are not kind like KashKing.
There was a much much MUCH higher chance of you losing your money with no way to get it back.
With Credit cards, say you give out your number to the wrong person or a dodgy site, you can then cancel your card and may be able to get a refund on anything that happened.
Crypto doesn't work this way, once its gone, its gone. There is no way to mitigate damage when you lose control of your wallet / keys
