Question about actmyname's spammer tag

Hi, I'm not sure if my account can be cosidered old member here or not but I want to ask something about actmyname's spammer tag.

Let's be honest, with basic neccessities being expensive these days, we all know that why most members here spend time engaging in this forum is because of those signature campaigns that pays money. Same as me, it's also why I stay active in this forum, to have a chance to participate in one of them and earn extra income.

Life's been tough since last year and I am grabbing any source of income or job possible that I can do. I was applying for a signature campaign then I saw this rule which automatically restricts me to take a chance to participate.

if you have a neutral feedback left by actmyname, or if you have neutral feedback from another DT member who flagged you as a sig spammer

I want to ask if all campaign managers follow this rule? My account got tagged by actmyname during my early college years and my english vocabulary during those times is not that good and my knowledge about topics in this forum is very limited, I have no idea that I was spamming already in my posts.

My point is does a spammer many years ago will forever be spammer and won't be able to improve his posting quallity? I maybe was a spammer before but I believe my postings or the way I discuss to this forum have improved. I tried to contact actmyname in telegram which is provided on his bitcointalk profile to ask if he can remove the tag but he didn't respond. I'm not sure if that telegram he provided is active since my message had never shown a sign of being seen by him.

If you reached this point, thank you for taking your time reading this.

I hope this will not get me banned or get a red tag in this forum. I just want to get an answer.

Cheers to all and goodnight.

Just want to share how lucky I am this Bitcoin Pizza Day. I decided to play Fortune Capybara, my go-to slot game on Bitcasino.

What I like about this game is you can bet as low as 0.05 usdt. I like its simplicity since I prefer slots with only 3x3 grid than others who have 3x5.

I deposited 10 usdt as my capital and my plan was to bet the lowest amount and test if my bankroll will give me some return or depletes to 0. I really didn't expect anything when I played, i did it to see if my balance goes to 0 until before I go to bed.

After few minutes of watching the screen at autoplay, I hit a win of 0.5 usdt from my initial bet which then triggered the Lucky MIx bonus game where you need to match 9 symbols of a kind.

I got a 15x multiplier which give me a return of 7 usdt super win.

From 0.05 usdt to a win of 7.5 usdt is 150x of my bet.

Not a huge win to many but I'm happy from it since I rarely win on slot games. It's my biggest win so far in terms of how much my bet multiplied.

Looks like it will be my habit now to test my luck every Bitcoin Pizza Day.  Cheesy

yet at the same time, there are people who are purposefully failing/refusing to invest into bitcoin and also acting as if land is a superior investment to bitcoin, when it likely is not.
When it comes to return on investment between land and Bitcoin, Bitcoin will always gives you a better ROI than land on the longer run, because it's nowhere near it peak price for now, the major reason most people prefer land is that it mostly safe, it can't be easily stolen, and you can decide to acquire as much Bitcoin as you want now, but their are some land you can't acquire in some location no  matter how wealthy you are, because the owner might decide not to sell, no matter how much you offered them, that's just the difference, but when talking about the investment part, Bitcoin will always gives a better ROI than land because it growth potential is way more faster than land and gold combined, and Investors are still coming into the sector, unlike land and gold that investment in it has reach it peak already.

I think that investing in Bitcoin is 100% better than investing in land and gold. Buying land can also face many difficulties, for example, in many cases there are many problems with the land papers. If you sell that land, you can face a lot of losses. Again, there are many unscrupulous people who ask for money after buying land. Bitcoin is very volatile and has a lot of risks. But the demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day, we can expect that the price of Bitcoin will increase a lot in the future. If you want, you can keep your saved Bitcoin hardware wallet in it, your saved Bitcoin will be very safe from theft. Bitcoin is always better than land or gold for investment.

If we talk about price appreciation over the years then bitcoin is really 100% better. But in terms of risk, bitcoin is the most risky asset from the things you've mentioned. Only investing on bitcoin is dangerous as we have long market cycles. You can't predict when unforeseen events could happen and there is a possibility for you to sell your bitcoin at a loss if emergencies happen during a bear market. It's not also easy to keep your bitcoin in a hardware wallet. There are some instances where you will lose its recovery phrase or forget where you put it.

As for investing into properties like land, you won't incure huge losses if you know what you're doing. You should never buy a land without complete legal papers and seek assistance from someone who knows things about real estate. Land is a good investment especially if it's on an urban area. You can sell it for a good profit or lease it to produce a passive income.

All 3 are good investments. Each provides a proper risk-reward balance so putting your money on all of them is the best choice for me than going all-in to only one asset. If I have a $100k for example, 50% would go to bitcoin for bigger profit potential then 25% each for land and gold since they are less volatile which will be first used when unexpected expenses happen.

We all know most of us end up losing in the long run as casinos have that house edge for a reason. Once you get that, it’s easier to control yourself and avoid making dumb mistakes while gambling.

Like they say, gambling is risk, so it needs control and discipline to keep those risks in check.

I know this is a pretty general topic, but I want to know, do you have that mindset already? That it’s okay to lose as long as you’re having fun?

Or are you the kind of gambler who believes you’ll eventually get so good you’ll beat the odds and actually make a profit? Not like most of us, right?  Cheesy

You wouldn't enjoy gambling if you expect a return from it. Everytime you gamble, see your money as a payment to gain the satisfaction you get from gambling. A profit would just be a bonus and treat it like a refund then either you use it to gamble more or treat yourself in other ways you like.

People that see gambling as a way to earn money usually lacks source of income. They are in desparate need for money that they see it to solve their problem.

Re: Have you ever think of how you started gambling?
by

I believe there is no such thing as gifted gamblers. That is why gambling is called a game of luck so there is no gambler anywhere that can claim to have never lose a bet a so for this reason there is no gambler that is gifted rather we can say there are lucky gamblers because of there frequent winning and such gamblers can not be described as been gifted because at times they do also lose .No gambler is born with a gift of gambling so gambling is purely based on luck, irrespective of how frequent or lucky a gambler is.

I agree if it's gifted in a way that they are blessed with extreme amount of luck. But there are some that are gifted on skills in gambling. Like those professional poker players, you don't just need luck to win in that game. You should also be good at bluffing your opponent to gain advantage. They don't have 100% win rate but they know when to bet big or small.

I'm quite confused about the OP's question and the title of this thread as they have separate topics but to answer the main subject, I started to gamble when I was exploring this crypto space. I was looking for more ways to earn bitcoin besides from faucets and stumbled to a dice site. I deposited some amounts from my faucet earning with the thought of giving me a huge return then the rest is a lesson for me to remember when gambling.

However, the question is: If you get a huge jackpot and become a millionaire, will you continue to gamble, or by being rich end this entertainment for you?

Most gamblers will still continue gambling and could tend to bet more amounts. I've seen some gamblers before where they won the jackpot in a lottery, instead of using the prize wisely like putting on some investments, they used a huge portion of it as a capital in gambling. They think that their luck will continue and betting with larger amounts will bring them more profit.

They go back to their old way of life in the end since they let greed control them during their lucky days.

And maybe their purchase made create good movements and contribute on the situation that's why we see Bitcoin cross at $100k again. There's lots of things we can learn for reading that article about the actions done by 21 capital.

This is interesting: I would have assumed that Tether would have used some of the bitcoins already in their reserve to finance 21 Capital.
Of course, the open market buy helps a positive price development!

Yes they and here are the figures contributed by Tether and other companies.

Quote
$1.5 billion from stablecoin issuer Tether
$900 million from tech investment giant SoftBank
$600 million from the Bitfinex exchange

Here you can read it here another interesting details about it https://bitcoinnews.com/markets/cantor-fitzgerald-bitcoin-21-capital/

We could really see that they are well prepared and funded that's why 21 capital is really another big institution next to MicroStrategy which is worth to follow. Also for sure their presence would provably bring good help for Bitcoin to gather more exposure also future demands.

Unlike MicroStrategy which accumulates bitcoin as a reserve asset, 21 Capital's goal is to bridge traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi).

Brandon Lutnick who is leading 21 Capital recently gave speech in Consensus 2025. He emphasized how to integrate blockchain technology into mainstream financial systems. Him together with his company Cantor Fitzgerald has already been advocate for bitcoin awareness and adoption for some years now.

Hey guys,

We all remember Karl's epic Bitcoin Price Prediction Contests

Now, Max and I are bringing back the fun for a one-off Bitcoin Pizza Day Prediction Contest

The earlier you make your Prediction, the bigger the rewards

🎰🎲 Bitcasino.io 🍕 Bitcoin Pizza Day🍕 $500 cash + Free Spins 🔒 20 May 🔒

Yeah I remember that it was a fun prediction contest which usually done by Karl way back then.

...

I was curious what was its price during those times so I looked for the result of last contest.

The BTC/EUR price of Bitstamp from November 28, 10:00 (GMT) was €33,808.

Bitcoin has really went far in just a span of a year and a half from the last prediction contest. A 100$ investment is now almost tripled. What's more wild about it is I don't think we will never see going that low on the future bear cycles with all these bitcoin adoptions happening.

I leave my prediction as well and guess that it will break its ATH on bitcoin pizza day. Let's see If I will get it correct.

Goodluck to everyone participating in the contest!

Just looked into your challenges page, I'm surprised to see that most challenges come with big minimum bet (mostly starting from $1 to $20).
Only 4 out of 20 challenges with lower minimum bet than $1, does it mean that you are so confident that most of your players are high rollers who like to play slot with bigger minimum bet?
I think it will be better if you have balanced challenges (50:50) so it can attract most of your slot players starting from small-medium-high bankroll players.
Or maybe you may provide on-site multiplier contest so players can compete with other players which I think it will bring more wager traffic than your challenges with high minimum bet.
Just a suggestion ofc.

Thank you, panjul07, for your suggestion.
You pointed out a good thing. No, we do not think most of our players are high rollers. I also agree with your suggestion that more players will join the challenges if we lower the minimum bet requirement. We will discuss it with our team and bring it to their attention for review. We value your feedback. Thank you again for sharing valuable feedback and suggestions.

Also, not all your users' local currency is USD. $1 could already be too much in a single bet for those who live in Asian countries. Instead of having a minimum bet requirement, why not make the reward proportional to the players' bet amount. That way, it removes the barrier of some challenges exclusive only for high-rollers.

Looking at the challenge with 20$ minimum bet, only high-rollers will really attempt to try it. At 1000$ bankroll, that would only be 50 bets.

Re: without investments would there be wealthy?
by
xSkylarx
on 12/05/2025, 06:16:01 UTC
I wouldn't want to create a very lengthy topic to post as I don't see any reason for doing so..
So I was thinking something tonight that everyone or anyone who succeeded or becoming wealthy today do they really succeed through investments?

If yes, then how many people around you becoming wealthy through investments?

In my opinion, the majority of people who were successful today started from personal skill or self development, after which before they started investments.

What Is your thoughts over this?

Investing is not primarily to become wealthy. It's just being wise with your money and securing your financial status in the future. You can't work and earn money for your whole life, you will need to invest your money on some asset that grows value over time so you can enjoy your life after you retired without relying to anyone.

You also wouldn't want your next generation to experience your struggles before so you make sure you have something to leave or inherit for your loved ones.

But I'm sure most slot players like to try new games because they must be interested to try because maybe new feature or new things.

I'm not into slot games but are each of them have their own unique mechanics to win and attract a player? All I know is that you need to match at least 3 of the same objects in an adjacent way to win. Some objects work in a different way which triggers the bonus.

When I'm playing slot games, I usually just put it on autoplay and fast mode. I don't pay attention on how I win and just watch the amount I would win. It's really satisfying to watch when you are able to win free spins and generate a good amount of profit from it.

Re: Physical safety and BTC influencers
by
xSkylarx
on 10/05/2025, 13:07:15 UTC
how can btc influencers ensure their safety and that of their loved ones?

How can they both have visibility AND ensure their safety?

The only way these influencers and their relatives secure their safety is to maintain a lowkey status. When you are in an industry where you become popular to the public, you already expose yourself from people with bad motives. It's the price you pay for your popularity and to protect your loved ones, you don't reveal to the public that you are related to them. They should also avoid going to crowded public places or use a disguise when going out.

As a person, influencer or not, you should never reveal your financial status in the public.
