Now the parking lot is not very attractive. I think this is the reason for the price decline.
Why can you say that?The price has changed from $20 to $30, and it has not dropped to that.
I think that those who invested in MNX including me do not have dissatisfaction with the current price.
most likely because when price goes up, rates go down, but when price plummets, rates stay more or less the same.
that and trading between daily variance price gets you waaay more than 4% a week

I get annoyed when people think of coins in terms of bitcoin price and judge their investments as so. I dont keep my money it bitcoin - I keep it in a bank where it gains nothing, so any gain i get is positive. Judging an investment in any crypto through a bitcoin lens is like saying investing in facebook is bad because amazon went up more...no it isn't it just wasn't the most optimal but it still gave you positive returns.
it's not entirely a false comparison, since you literally are forced to buy mnx in btc or some other crypto XD
I would gladly have bought mnx with my debit card directly if I could. (and I'm sure many others would have as well)
the logic is basically this
if I buy 0.01 bitcoin at 10,000 each (100 dollars worth), and then I buy 5 MNX with that (at 0.002 each)
then price of MNX drops to 0.0015, but bitcoin rises to 30,000 each, I still made profit, but I would have made 25% more if I just sat on bitcoin.
(225 investing in mnx vs just holding and getting 300)
don't get me wrong though, my portfolio is very happy with mnx thus far, even if its price in btc drops.
but you are not a bitcoin hodlers. I did not know why people complain about the pricing. you still in a win even the btc price is lower than the ICO because the value in usd since you bought it is higher now. You are not a bitcoin hodler because you exchange your btc to altcoin
I'm definitely a bitcoin HODL'er, I just make more money (on average) by diversifying my portfolio LOL not that bitcoin is the only coin I hold, mnx is another one I hold, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't sell if mnx suddenly rose to 500 dollars or something XD

the current mnx token price is far down from the ICO price, whether it will go back up, we will wait how the development of minex project, hopefully the price is equal to ethereum or even bitcoin, just a matter of time

I'm tired of these arguments in every ico thread. You chose to invest in MNX not in BTC. It's not because BTC went moon that every ICO that was funded with it should go there. Imagine you traded some Apple stocks worth $10 back in 1999 for some Netscape navigator stocks. 10 years later your Netscape stocks would be worth nihil and your Apple stocks (you don't own anymore) would be worth tenfold. Is that unfair? No, that's a choice.
I wonder if BTC went down 70% and the ico price went down just 30% compared to usd, would you consider it a win? Because you would have gone up 40% in BTC price but down 30% in usd price. No, you would consider it a loss because in the end.... USD is still what you're after, no matter how big a btc-fanboy you are (and the fact you traded it for MNX doesn't make you that big of a btc fanboy).
eh, you can't just pretend that btc price doesn't matter though. after all, like you said, usd (or another fiat) is what these short term investors are after, if they would have made 2x or more just holding btc instead of trading, these people will stop buying mnx.
which in the end is a stupid move, because let alone parking, day trading mnx is easy money right now.

How much MNX do you think a 13 pcs GTX 1060 6GB will be mined daily?
Thirteen GTX 1060s should give you over two coins per day if things stay as they are. I would be interested in knowing if that estimate is close if you decide to start mining some.
13 gtx 1060s does not give you 0.2 mnx per day..... especially not with the good miner
it's about 1.2-1.5 coins per day at current rate.

Hello Dev any news about upcoming exchanges (bittrex, polo)? I see all other coins that came here last are already listed on many exchanges.
Not many coins / tokens get listed on Bittrex or Polo. In fact it costs the projects a lot to get listed there and even then its not sure they will be accepted. Only Coins/tokens with a lot of hype will get listed by themselves (eg POWR) because they dont want to miss out big time at trading fees. Imho Bittrex and Polo will become obsolete in the near future with newer, better, decentralized exchanges taking over the space. I am looking forward to this.
I heard it costs millions of dollars to get on the top 3 exchanges (each)

not that guy but when I try, I keep getting various opengl errors. probably missing some driver somewhere but I can't figure out which.

I don't see 300 as it is today but this coin can easily hit 50-100 np, probably even up to 200. perhaps if it goes on more exchanges, we get more volume and people start using mnx as a way to gain passive income, the price of the coin will shoot up.
Why you do not see price higher than $300, makes sense to me, many other alt coins have surpassed this figure and they do not have rewards that MNX offer.

there's only like 4 of them not counting bitcoin forks....3 if we don't count bitconnect
anyways, I just don't think minexbank alone is enough to push us that high. (coin price also doesn't really have much to do with the rewards a coin offers, plenty of staking coins are worth nothing)
