Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread.

Hi,

I have selected a very long user name, and it happens to break the webpage layout of coinmarket.io to the degree that it becomes completely unusable ie. the large top padding margin of area covers completely the part of main menu that allows transactions. I couldn't figure it out at the time of accounts' creation, just saw it today when I really asked myself what is wrong:

can you please explain, why did I earn ZERO noble coins, while being the 4th contributor on your mining pool?

http://www.coinmine.pw/  doesn't do things like that - in case anyone wanted to finally earn something.

if it is NEAR me, then why use shmoogle's location mark? it's so boring and schematic.
if you tap into Leonardo's genius, why not try Mona Lisa?

just a concept art, I can refine it if you like Smiley

Hi,

I've sent PM to bizwoo, with cc: to JohnK and nekonos this afternoon, ordering 1 board + 16 chips.

Since I am located in Poland and I see guys in Bulgaria working really fast on their implementation:

I would like to switch my order to them, but within the same group buy for Avalon chips here - is it possible?

also, I am not sure about the calculation of time spent of this forum

I've spent several hours reading it, before posting anything - but somehow only 11 minutes were recognized...

You can buy bitcoin on ebay.... Even in the USA...
I just saw that but is it reliable? Could someone not rip you off that way?

Yes they can.  You can search the forums for many scammer stories regarding e-bay and bitcoins(litecoins) etc.  The most common scam being paypal chargebacks or disputing the charge on thier CC after you transfer the coins to them.

I meant could a seller scam you but thanks for the information. I looked on ebay and the bitcoins are all horribly overpriced.

They can't scam you as long as you verify the coins were confirmed. Once coins are sent, there is no going back unless whoever received them decided to send them back.
I meant would they be able to take your money on ebay and never send you the coins?

That's a hard one. PayPal states that people buying and selling BTC is against their TOS, so I'm not sure who they would side with in that case.

7970 full OC

BTC: 682 mh/s
LTC 491 kh/s before crashing

for some reason cgminer with my card is extremely unstable, can't make it work with two gpus' in the same case and crashing after OC is normal

case is bigtower, well ventilated... I will change cooling for gpu anyway.

it's just very easy to miss any hint, that you have to post something and it's ONLY in this part of the forum.

I started from getting frustrated, because I couldn't post anything in that thread nor send any PM.

also, HELP section of this board about PM's or Posting doesn't contain any warnings about the way of newbies' system.

it definitely should.

perhaps some (+1) or (like) system? that would also show involvement and it would be nearly impossible for a bot to fake real person's opinions, especially if they would match with something in personal profile.

just messing around with the idea, it's not a clear solution

according to that:

http://youtu.be/9O9fFBIoeXM

they have the product ready, including a working app for android.

by delaying the deliveries, they did a big favor to everyone who have just found out the bitcoin, thanks to recent newsflash in the RT and numerous other mass media sources.

if their entry level ASICs were flooding the market by now, you wouldn't be able to earn with your bought-for-plenty-of-other-reasons Radeon a 0.1 BTC minimum to make a cash out from your favourite mining pool.

as of today - it is still possible and doesn't take forever.

without it - it would be very hard for many people (me too) to even consider bothering with bitcoins and bitcoin mining at all. I do gfx for living, so investing in a good gfx card is a zero-risk venture for me, because I will use it anyway.

as for a suspiciously looking "black-boxes" or even more suspiciously looking home-made electronic boards, they are everything what good you can say about them - but definitely they look like a high risk to take for newbies in a totally new environment.

I was talking to many of my old, trusted friends, and currently only I am taking the risk to go further into this area. probably only because I managed to get through the first steps, taking smaller risks one at a time.

it is all about building trust, step by step, not just to BFL but to bitcoin in general.
