Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN
by
xaviervilla
on 20/06/2018, 02:58:03 UTC
It is very sad to say that a technology like this would come to a big tragedy
Bitcoin has the potential to be great but it has become a weapon of Greed

The real use of bitcoin as a payment system is just a fantasy
But what happens in reality, it is just a pump and dump coin like the rest

The only coin that is using blockchain technology the right way is USDT or Tether
most other coins are just scams and not meant for adaptability

A currency is something that can be used for daily basis rather than just an investment
majority of people who buy bitcoin is just for investment and not used as a payment itself

Never the less
HAIL HYDRA!

Yup this is truly a bad thing to hear. I am a huge supporter of this currency(bitcoins) which is why
I never panic sell even when the price is going lower and lower every time.  Instead, I try my best
to be able to accumulate more.  bitcoin will surely rise, we'll just have to wait a little longer.

Re: Why is China giving importance to Blockchain?
by
xaviervilla
on 20/06/2018, 02:45:27 UTC
Chinese has been feeling very enthusiastic about blockchain lately!  The Chinese government may not like cryptocurrencies or in fact Bitcoin, but they sure do like the Technology it is based on.

Know more what China is doing with Blockchain https://www.globaltechinsights.com/blockchain-bitcoin-whats-happening-in-china/

The reason is pretty obvious. It is because the block-chain technology itself has the potential
to change the world and how we see monetary usages. I believe that one day, there will be
countries that would be creating their own cryptos that are fully centralized to enjoy the
benefits of being in a block-chain technology without the risks of money laundering or crypto
related crimes that are hard to solve.

Re: Better Late than Never?
by

Huh I couldn't wait any longer and jumping into cryptocurrency pretty late. I understand I have invested at the high end as of late, but with the rapid growth over the last several weeks I would be a fool not to jump in.

What are the predictions of the bubble before it bursts and drops back down?

Also, I imagine it should become my goal, as an investor, to actually use the bitcoin for what it was created to do. Peer to Peer purchasing in a free market, not relying on the banks or 3rd party taking their cut. Where can I begin actually using bitcoin to purchase normal household items?

Well, I bet you wake up everyday crying over your investments. Worse case is if you sold them all at
a big loss because you couldn't take the pressure and panicked a lot. I just hope you didn't do what I
think you did because it would clearly be such a waste.

Re: Do you think that other coins move faster?
by
xaviervilla
on 20/06/2018, 01:30:12 UTC
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Sad to say and hard to admit but, bitcoin really is slowly getting left behind because of all the altcoins out there
that has low market capitalization. This enables whales to pump these altcoins higher than bitcoins which attracts
a lot of investors because they can see huge potential for bigger profits than that of what they can get from investing
on bitcoins.

Re: New to Bitcoin. Should I mine or buy coin with my $6000
by
xaviervilla
on 20/06/2018, 01:23:12 UTC
Hi Everyone,

I'm new to cryptocurrencies and would like to know your opinion on what best to do with my $6000.

I was initially planning on purchasing a GPU mining rig with gtx 1070s but then upon further research found that 1070s can only do 600-700 sol/s

Then I found the asicminer equihash which can do 40,000 sol/s and costs $14,800 which will be released on July along with new nvidia generation cards.

I know its a bit late now to start but I am really thinking hard on this but I need opinions from veteran guys.

tl:dr;

1. Should I buy bitcoin with my $6000 or
2. Use it to buy a 1070 GPU mining rig or
3. Wait until July for new nvidia graphics card to come out (or the asicminer equihash).

Thanks so much for all your feedback.

*Edit: Would like to inform everyone that electricity costs would not be a problem as I have a way to manage it. Considering that electricity cost is not an issue, is mining going to be profitable for me right away?

Considering that the electricity bills are not a problem for you, I think that mining bitcoins would
be a much better choice for you because bitcoins will never lose demand in my opinion. Furthermore,
as a newbie, I think that it would be giving you better returns and be able to avoid losses than
investing because you are still new to this industry and may find it hard to measure when to buy or sell.

Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not?
by

on 20/06/2018, 01:19:03 UTC
I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.

To be honest, I really am not surprised. I really expected things like these to happen ever since I have heard of
bitcoins. People will always want to use the cool stuff and that is bitcoin. Not to mention that there are only a few
options for it, this means that whoever starts accepting it early gets all the people looking for more options for
them to use cryptos.

Bitcoin is the leading coin of the market. What you think about the future of bitcoin and others coin?

Hold my beer, I'll look into it with my crystal ball. Lol. But seriously though, I really do not think that
anyone here can really give you an accurate answer for that. Anyone saying they are sure is either
delusional or completely stupid.

Re: Scams
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:38:16 UTC
Is there a possibility of a scam if my tokens have no value for 2 months? I already have the tokens for 2.5 months and they keep telling us that listing is a laborious thing to do. Is that a normal thing to happen when your coin doesn't have any value for 2.5 months now?

That depends entirely on the project itself, the integrity of the developing team behind the project,
the way they deliver, and then their reasons as to why this is the case and if they give concrete proofs
that there is progress happening. But whatever the case is, since you invested, then just wait. Anyway
if it is a scam you already lost and if it really isn't then you may get a lot of profits. Just let this be a
lesson and be more careful next time when investing.

Re: best exchange for traders
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:35:02 UTC
am new in the game and am wondering which exchange will be best for a new trader, with respect to transaction fees and others

When I was just starting out, I remember reading a lot about how to trade and started out with
small amounts and on decentralized exchanges because as what I have read, they are the ones
that often gives low fees to their users. But nowadays, I prefer to used centralized exchanges
since they have more volume and are more likely to have real coins compared to decentralized
exchanges that have been rumored to have fake tokens(not sure if it's real tho, but just want to
be sure).

Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ?
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:32:14 UTC
as the well-known proverb says, the language will finish before Kiev. more often communicate on forums and various services; many sites and the same services are laying out lists of promising ISO. if among your acquaintances there are investors and crypto-enthusiasts, it's good too.

Yup, this is certainly a good way to be able to go and find better projects to invest in specially if you
have a great personality towards others and are very resourceful. But an investor must always do
confirm every information gathered himself to make sure that it is legitimate and really is what other
people say it is so that he or she can be sure that project is really legitimate and has great potential.

Re: IOTA - Thousands of Wallets Compromised and Funds Stolen
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:29:45 UTC
Damn, this is very shocking. I can only imagine how devastated the IOTA wallet users are when this happened.
it is pretty clear and easy to see that the one at fault here is IOTA and not its users because they are not the
ones who designed the wallet and decided how it should work. They are only users that have trusted the promises
of the IOTA team themselves to them. I sure hope this serves as a lesson and never happens again because there
are lives being ruined every time incidents like these happen.

Re: What is better?
by

on 05/06/2018, 20:22:24 UTC
Hey guys, do you think It is better to hold main crypto currencies like bitcoin it ether? Or you hold all your money in alt coins?

Well, if you want to be safe from scams and shitcoins because you are still a newbie in this industry and haven't
learned a lot yet or read a lot yet, then buying and holding main coins is the better choice for you. But if you are
pretty confident that you already know how to differentiate shitcoins from hidden gems, then I suggest that you
go for altcoins that are still starting out because this can clearly give you more profits than the main coins in a
bullish season.

Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:07:49 UTC
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

Well in my experience, there really are bounties that have few personnel that takes care of the
bounties or the developers are just too busy and prefer to take the project first rather than making
the bounty hunters their top priority. In some cases, it can be because the project extends its ICOs
to gain more investments. Either way, nothing is for sure. Let's just do our own research so we can
choose a good campaign that will really pay because if they don't pay, we can't do anything about it.

Re: Why people don’t believe in crypto?
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:04:31 UTC
Hey guys, why do you think people don’t believe in crypto? The potential of crypto is great. Moreover crypto is the currency of the future! Do you agree?

The reason for this varies from person to person but the most common reason is what they hear from the
news everywhere which are mostly negative news towards cryptos. Another thing is because they do not
understand how this industry really works and are probably too lazy to read more about it. And then there
is the reason that people always thinks of, and that is cryptos are not yet considered truly legal all over the
world and has a small number of users.

Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers
by
xaviervilla
on 05/06/2018, 20:01:29 UTC
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

Well, there really are a lot of people that uses wallets that are free and gives low fees. And I am one
of them. I use these wallets because I simply cannot afford to buy a better wallet as of now. and quite
frankly, I might not even buy one. Since if you only take enough care and be cautious enough, you
will be able to prevent hackers from hacking your wallet.

Well, we really cannot blame other people. I think that  they are just doing this out of
frustration. I think that they have suffered a lot of losses but just try to keep it cool and
and just try to laugh it out loud so that you may forget about all of these drops in the
price of the bearish market..

There will always be people that will disagree and agree to different types of things. This makes
things complicated for us crypto enthusiasts because they just won't allow people to make cryptos
legal. I think that the only choice we have is to push regulation because that I think really be able
to push mass adoption.

Re: Bitcoin Faces Close Below Long-Term Support In First Since 2015
by
xaviervilla
on 28/05/2018, 20:54:18 UTC
Bitcoin risks closing below the 50-week moving average (MA) – an important long-term support not breached for over two-and-a-half years.

With the bears already on the offensive following the recent sell-off, prices are likely to suffer if bitcoin closes on Sunday below the key support, currently seen at $7,611. More worryingly for the bulls, since the cryptocurrency has not traded below the 50-week MA since October 2015, acceptance below that level would only add credence to the argument that the long-term bull run has ended.

What do you think about it?

Continue here : https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-faces-first-close-below-this-key-long-term-support-in-2-5-years/

Man, as much as I want to ignore this, I really can because it is not just a stupid claim but a claim
based on the history of bitcoins which makes me even scarier. I wish that this really never happens
because if it does we really are doomed. I hope everyone will hold and not give to the temptation of
panic selling.
