The Team behind, who we are:
Guys which made software development their passion, no hobbycoder who speedy launched a coin, professionals which launch professional tools for the whole community. Our main goal is, to bring value to the community!

no "hobbycoders", hm?

why than cloning the code from HarvestCoin which is a ugly copy&paste clone from NovaCoin which is a fork from PeerCoin. Same aged codebase of 2014, like all other masternode scams coming and going since 3 month.

"professionals" would (transparently) fork the dash or pivx codebase. That would be a good starting point for a new coin. But not the Nova code from 2014.

Hey Dev. I think you need to adjust your diagram.

With all these people giving there money to dozens of this stupid dash-clones, forked by "developers" with no skills, just to make some quick money: "Human Intellect" is declining fast!

Re: Thinking about making a Bitcoin mixer - suggestions?
by

Don't waste your time. The bitcoin chainanalysis companies have software that can see past mixers now, and have for some time. If you rely on a mixing service to anonymize your bitcoin when it comes time to cash out you may get a surprise. If you have bitcoin you need to anonymize you have to swap to an anonymous coin like Monero and back. The authorities hate Monero because they can not pierce the veil of that blockchain.

A good workflow could be:
activate vpn
create an online monero wallet
change btc to monero with changelly.com
create some more online monero wallets
send monero from 1st wallet to them
wait some days
create a btc paper wallet
change monero to btc with cryptonator.com

someone should create an online service for that using their api.

I also need advice. I already have 2x 3 1080 ti.  I can get 1080 ti for 700euro, and 1060 6gb for 275€. I plan to mine eth until difficult dont jump,  then maybe ubiq or something. 1080 ti for zcash or something. What is better 1070 8gb 420€ or 1060 6gb 275€. I think 6 1060 6gb with 750w psu is rly good deal.

why the 1060 6gb? good for gaming, but no use for crypto. the 3gb version is under 200.

only 750w (peak) for six 1060 did not work (for me). a 750W psu will give you just 750W * 85 - 92% = ca. 650 - 700W (max).
but each 1060 takes 100 W and the CPU / MB another 120 W. you should not run 24/7 on max.

i use 2 psu (1 x 550W and 1 x 650 or 750W) for each mining rig with 6 x 1060 3gb. i found this solution more stable than 1 x 1000 W psu

Re: [Universal-Wallet] Coinomi (BIP44 compatible)
by

on 11/08/2017, 11:11:28 UTC

I know i don't need to "recover funds" in any wallet. It was just a term that i thought will be easier to explain what i mean. I just wanted to hear clear answer - Yes, with this seed from Coinomi you can "recover" your funds at anytime, anywhere, no matter how much different coins you have there.

I don't need to know what tools i need to use to "recover" them now, cuz i have a seed and when i will lose my devices for some reasons then i will be interested in it. Just needed an assurance that having that ONE seed (instead of having one seed from one wallet for one coin) will guarantee me that my funds will never be lost and i will be able to "recover" them when i want.

Your answer is what i wanted to hear but in different words, I hope... Cheesy:D

Thanks Smiley

no, the seed is not enough.

it's just a password from which a software creates private keys. you need to know which algorithm is used to create the private keys.
in other words: you need the seed AND the "manual" how to do operations with this seed to create (or re-create) the private keys.

if you backup the seed, it is the same as if you backup the password to your creditcard, but not the credit card itself.
if you lost the card, you need someone who knows what was on the chip of the card (the banking account numbers) to get back access to your funds.

Re: Coinomi to store Altcoins - good idea?
by

on 11/08/2017, 11:02:27 UTC
who like to store anything online??? That's most of the stupienst things you can ever do if money is involved.

powerplant likes to use coinomi offline. and that is no problem at all.
i think (need to look at the sourcecode) the wallets core is by design offline but connected with additional online services.

but seed and key-creation is an offline process with no external server messaging.

that was the question. but you are right: online wallets should not be used. never ever. you give your private keys in someons hands. and no server is unhackable.

comparing the gpu on the worst algo for nvidia is bad, because the 1080ti and 1080 use gddrx5, which are bad on dagger, comapre it on skein or blake2s or any other algo

you are right. but there is actually no profitable blake coin to mine.

if profit of blake-coin is half to equihash or ethash i have no benefit from the better handling of the faster card.

The best way is to write your keypairs to paper and put it in the safe.

One of the unsafest ways to handle your keypairs, is to handle them in a wallet on your own Computer!!!

yeah, you may smile now. but thats a fact.

did you ever lost your images because of a hardware-crash of your end-consumer samsung HDD? i did.
if that happens to your wallet-PC (and you did not write down the keypairs before) all your coins are all gone forever.
even if you backup your wallet-dat at external HDD and USB-Sticks. Maybe there are dead in 10 Years. even if you run a RAID, your are never sure.

if you handle your keys with a BIP 39 Wallet (every deterministic wallets, must not be coinomi) you can recover all your keypairs if you just remember the recovery phrase (write it down, don't store it at a digital device).

there is nothing unsecure about that at all. and you need to thrust no one. all that calculations happen on your device only.

should be safe if you printout the sourcecode (some html and vanilla javascript) of the revery tool, too. thats all you need for a recovery.

there is a good chance, that the 2017 apk will not run on phones in 10 years.

in your scenario you use coinomi just to create private and public key pairs without using all the other fancy functions. so it would be better if you use the recovery tool right now to show the private keys of your coins and print out the keypairs for your safe.

I know this tool. I used it to recover funds in electrum from Multibit seed. But i meant this:

- I have Bitcoin, golem, ETH, DOGE coins on Coinomi for example.
- I have 1 seed for all of them in Coinomi.
- The project goes down.
- I remember the seed so now i'm searching e.g for Golem and Dogecoin wallets available on PC and for each of this wallets i can "convert" this ONE seed from coinomi to recover funds in each one of these wallets?

someone may correct me if i'm wrong:

you don't need to "recover funds" in any PC-wallets. you own coins if you know the private key(s).

with your seed (and some crypto-magic) you can recover all your addresses and the corresponding public and private keys for each coin coinomi supports.

with the private keys written down (paperwallet), you can delete the app. that's all you need for spending the coins.

the "crypto-magic" can be found inside the source-code of the app and the recovery-tool, too. print out the source code and you can re-code your own version of the tool, 20 years after the zombie-attack.

lol no it's not 80% more hash where you get that? a 1080ti is 80% more faster than a 1070 not 1060, maybe you are confusing with the 1080s

i used 2 recources for the comparsion:

whattomine.com
 1060 - Ethhash: 21.3 Mh/s
 1070 - Ethhash: 30.0 Mh/s
 1080Ti - Ethhash: 35.0 Mh/s

https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc
 1060 - DaggerHashimoto: 20.13 MH/s
 1070 - DaggerHashimoto: 28.69 MH/s
 1080Ti - DaggerHashimoto: 35.00 MH/s

are both pages wong with the Ti?
for my 30 1060 the result is nearly as stated there.

i believe that the 1080ti is the better deal here, the 1060 is very poor in performance, and it's also overpriced like the other, but the 1080ti is less overpriced compared to the other, because the price was already high, before the gpu shortage, i would just buy two 1080ti for now, versus 6 x 1060

No way.

1080ti compared to 1060 3GB is just 80% more Hashpower but 250% "more Price" and 150% more power consumption.

use https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc to compare 1050 1060 and 1070. they show you power and hashrate. for me the 1060 3gb was the best choise.

Maybe some years too late. There were many others with this idea. And some of them are open-sourced.
Google "exchange cryptocurrency github" and fork the code you like most. No need to "buy a script" (whatever that might mean).
