Re: Why BitConnect will destroy crypto
by

Of course BCC will put a huge dent into the cryptoscene once it collapses.

Its placed #9 by market cap. Do you know how many blogs and pages there are out there promoting the coins placed along top10 on coinmarketcap? If a top10 coin is a scam that is a huge deal.

We should all be furious at coinmarketcap for continuing to publish this coin and their "volumes", which are all fake and fabricated by the way. This is Mt Gox 2.0 and its only a matter of time before it collapses

Re: Bitcoin Gold will be another Bitcoin Cash?
by
xdev
on 16/10/2017, 16:16:02 UTC
What does Bitcoin Gold add?

Its idiotic to even compare the two. Yes, it is true that no one wanted Bitcoin Cash, just as very little of the buyers support goes in support of Segwit 2X.

But Bitcoin Gold is nothing but a money making scheme to try and robb some cash off of people by making them even more confused about the upcoming hard fork

"But I receive it for free, how can it be a scam?!" Easy. Clueless people will buy into it because it has "Bitcoin" in the name and by offering the coin for free in the fork they will hope to gain some support.

I havent heard of any exchange that will accept Bitcoin Gold. Its a useless coin that shouldn't even be talked about

Don't think its over yet, depends on if OKcoin and Huobi can get proper licensing in place before end of October, otherwise they have to shutdown as well.

Re: Is it actually worth buying btc of 50€?
by

on 16/09/2017, 07:15:02 UTC
Sure, why not?

If you buy at the right time you could make a decent profit eventually.

If you have time to daytrade you could probably make some starting profits the coming weeks as I sense the price of BTC will continue to be affected by Chinas regulations

Re: I don't think bitcoin value will fall again this year, what about you?
by

on 15/09/2017, 17:04:09 UTC
I think we're yet to see its biggest fall. I expect a fall at the end of the month which it will probably recover somewhat from.

But the one that will take place in October will be huge. More chinese FUD and also SegWit in November, it wont be pretty.

Best time to invest will be during October up until the Segwit fork will take place

Re: Fast Raise harder drop?
by

I think of it as luring people into investing. So many people see the rise starting and want to invest as they believe the coin to be gaining ground again. What will ALWAYS happen is that the price will start to fall once the big investors have made enough.

Best advise is to invest in the dip, I sense a big one will happen at the end of the month. I see no reason to get greedy and try to gain a few bucks right now because we will never know at what level the the decreases will stop. The price might fall 500$ every day from now on, its things like this that we will never know. If you are a day trader and you basically live off making quick bucks in the cryptoworld then you might have a chance to buy at the right time and sell off fast once you made a few extra bucks. But if you're a long term investor then definitely buy at the end of the month once you know how far this will fall. It should recover eventually

This drop is purely based on China shutting down exchanges temporarily.

Unfortunately, we will see more exchanges close during the coming weeks and the price will most likely drop even further.

After september we might see regulations in place and hopefully these Exchanges will be welcomed back on the market. But until then, expect the prices to drop further everyday.

Truth in Chinas regulation and temporary halt of bitcoin exchanges
by
xdev
on 13/09/2017, 15:02:37 UTC
Either everyones conspiring to make some serious cash or we have to face the consequence that there might be truth in the recent reports about temporary closure and regulations of Chinas exchanges

https://twitter.com/AriDavidPaul/status/907067579180732417

Three sources that all deem there to be some "truth" in the recent Bloomberg report

Well, I expect the price to be very unstable until we've had atleast 1 or 2 weeks without Chinese rumours.

After that I expect the price to rise for a few weeks until the fork which I think is happening in November, a week prior to that I expect the price to take a big hit again.

Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried
by
xdev
on 13/09/2017, 14:39:53 UTC
I made the mistake of going all in at around 3900$ expecting it to rise after the first reports. Somehow, more reports have been released and price has dropped for a week at end.

Took a gamble and sold all off with a loss of 300$ per coin at 3600$, bought back in at 3100$ today.

I dunno, the rise and fall is weird and unpredictable. I held it for so long expecting it to rise but eventually I just had to sell it off, it is a tough decision

Re: Urgent need for a Bitcoin "assocation"
by

on 13/09/2017, 07:00:23 UTC
I think the idea is good, but placing power in one place isn't very good and will drag Bitcoin down, unfortunately.

The idea of Blockchain and Bitcoin is to place more power and more control in the hands of the users - the people.

Its up to the community and its users to make this happen, not the founders or the creators.

Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?
by

on 11/09/2017, 15:58:52 UTC
Bitcoin and Blockchain technology as we know it most likely wont exist.

The speed of new technology accelerates more and more every 10 years. In 100 years we will all have moved on to something much faster and much more scaled.

Digital currency is obviously the future and Bitcoin and Blockchain will most likely be looked at as forerunners, but the technology as we know it will have evolved tenfolds

Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it?
by
xdev
on 10/09/2017, 15:24:08 UTC
Bitcoins biggest enemy isn't the banks IMO. Its governments and corporations wanting to control the Internet. Bitcoin doesn't threat the elite as much as an open internet does. On the internet you can discuss and do anything you want, you can even make anonymous untracable transactions with the help of cryptocurrency. Making sure the internet is no longer as open as it is today by inflicting surveillance and censorship would probably spell the end of Blockchain technology. Maybe the tech will live on, but the whole purpose of Blockchain and Bitcoin is to give more freedom and power to the people, if that was to be controlled and centralized alot of people would give up on the tech and move on to something new

Re: The Real Reason China Banned Exchanges? Cryptocurrency is a Ponzi Scheme
by
xdev
on 10/09/2017, 11:16:30 UTC
It is a market that needs government guidance and regulations. Why do you think big guns over at Twitter just kept spreading the news about China ban without even half of them questioning anything? Because they know that the fake news will spread panic among weak hands and that the prices will fall temporarily which means that these people can continue to buy cheap coins and keep increasing their wealth.

Without regulations you will see alot more scam coins and alot more greedy people joining the community in hopes of increasing their wealth and spreading panic among investors.

Re: What are the main disadvantages of Bitcoin Cash?
by
xdev
on 09/09/2017, 23:46:38 UTC
Bitcoin cash was made for manipulations by small group of miners, it`s only for cheating on us and it`s centralized Undecided

Centralized how? Developers behind BCC are just a group of people devoted to Satoshis message.

BTC is centralized if you really want to go there. Its developers are controlled by a corporation, Blockstream. But whatever, you know that but don't care as it gives you profits.
