Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning.

I think we cant escape looking bitcoin value every time we woke up in the morning, every time the sun rises and my eyes opened i grab my phone and look the value of coins i hold and my start with that, its also because i do day trading if possible even i see that my investment gained small amount of profit i do selling.
And It will be glad if you wake up in the morning that the price of bitcoin goes to the moon. It will be like your are in a deep sleep and dreaming <3 . That would be great to wake up and feel happy about it. But in reverse it is like a nightmare (but not really). We know bitcoin and the trust will never fade.

Believe it or not, meron talagang mga nagbibigay ng merit hindi dahil mataas ang quality o informative ang isang post. Nandiyan kasi yung kaibigan, nabayaran, or baka alternate account niya lang.
So I think there will be no roblem as long as it deserves it.

Idagdag pa natin si Blockeye na napaka approachable and attached sa project. Sa dinami dami ng bounty a sinalihan ko na si blockeye ang manager napaka sulit, he's in communication with the team at saka, mabilis sya mag respond.

So do you mean this is one that affects the price of bitcoin? Maybe the reason why they are banning is that they are preventing the act of hacking, just like what happened lately to facebook.

His concern about spread of fake news is a serious problem.

Many netizens are being misinformed and quick in judging if there's an article that came out from a recent incident since its becoming a race of how quick they are in bringing news, so sometimes they lack of credible sources which results to fake news.
I agree, in addition to that, netizens reacts quickly like a lightning, they don't even know what's the story behind but they quickly judge.  I hope that we may say comments after we knew the truth.

in my oppinion greatest threats are humans, their fear, their greed, their panic, and possible assosiations that find together to reach goals at the expense of others. like bitcoin for example.
I agree, and that human greed destroys our planet. Ruining the natural form of of earth. We are not contented on what the nature gives us, we always want more, and more and more. That we didn't think how will it affect the entire human beings.

It is basically a stain in their name and image, but I think as long as they do what they have to do and work fairly is enough. I don't want also to tolerate that kind of doings  but it is more good if they don't have an affair.

I bet you could make 1000x as much by learning computer programming... I have worked for companies that hired Filipino programmers... I had a friend who moved to the Philippines for a few years and made $35/hour (US dollars) building websites while living in Cebu

I'm willing to bet you don't make $35/hour begging for bitcoin
I agree that a regular job is great ways to make a living but if you ADD bounty hunting work it will add your salary. It is not bad to have both or focus on on e thing, It will be your choice to balance your time and have your money.

Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world?
by

on 09/09/2018, 22:12:36 UTC
Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc.
But as it said that facebook and twitter banned ICO's paid advertisement but it's still a hot topic on these platforms and people are getting interested about it. Each day, there are people adding to the market and gets interested all of the time.
Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me?
These celebrities are just adding to make crypto's hype but even they won't advertise it, crypto's will still trending because of volatility and that's how it gets too much attention.
Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.
Agree! good or bad publicity still it's publicity.
I agree that all of this aspects makes cryptocurrency popular. But in addition to that, the features and crypto(what really it is) makes itself popular. Many  is being more curious because of the advertisements.

Re: Electric cars are the future, but not with batteries.
by
xena2
on 09/09/2018, 21:45:23 UTC
I think it is sad that there is such an obsession with electric cars at the moment. They are more environmentally damaging than modern diesel vehicles, especially now that horizontally opposed two stroke diesels are being developed. They are a wasteful use of lithium, and there isn't enough for all the cars anyway. All they do is to export pollution out of the cities. It is even worse when they cut down trees to burn to generate the electricity.

A much better solution is the use of fuel cells. You can extract the hydrogen from sea water, and generate the electricity directly to drive the motors in the cars. Refuelling only takes a few minutes, as opposed to the hour or so that it can take to recharge the batteries in the current cars.
But it is more recommended if vehicles have batteries. It will be the backup if unnecessary things happen.

Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society
by
xena2
on 09/09/2018, 04:07:14 UTC
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries" where money becomes digital/numbers.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??
Debit/credit cards are limited in terms of partnership, there are stores that is not in relation in some other banks. A good example of cashless society is your phone or gadget will be your wallet or the most special is your wallet is stored in the internet which you can access anywhere.  In our country (Philippines) we can't use all kinds of crypto for payment( limited type), we have to convert to fiat to make use of it.

Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future?
by
xena2
on 09/09/2018, 03:30:22 UTC
Bitcoin will always be public because of the blockchain, but it's different if there are certain people who use bitcoin for their own benefit.

It is precisely that bitcoin will be more accessible in the future considering our technology continues to grow.
I am thinking the same way, people can access and will have their own bitcoin but the security will continue to improve and more strict.

Re: How do you think Bitcoin & Crypto would look like in 10 years?
by
xena2
on 09/09/2018, 01:27:43 UTC
10 years is a long time as we all know it. By that time, obviously the importance of blockchain will take over the technogical space and that will automatically grow bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I believe that cryptocurrency will also be treated as another legitimate legal tender at that time.
I do agree, some countries are accepting bitcoin now and in ten years maybe the whole world will recognize the importance of bitcoin and realize  how important digital currency is. And I think the world of blockchain will continue to upgrade

Re: Lets say they upgrade bitcoin will my public and private key still work
by
xena2
on 08/09/2018, 15:01:14 UTC
i created a wallet form web wallet
and an keeping safe 12 words and a bitcoin address public key and private key
and that single public address has all bitcoin now i m never going to use that wallet as i m going to hold bitcoin till 2025

my question is what if community tries to upgrade bitcoin and is it possible that that private key wont work because of upgrade.....as i see back in 2011 people use to keep bitcoins on a hard drive ....

i just want to know would i be able to recover my funds as long a i have my private key whatever happens to technology....
Programmers and developers study first the effects of the before they plan upgrade so before they launch the upgrade they will secure the perfect flowchart or algorithm so that there will no inconvenience to all the users. Planning and analysis comes first before the implementation.

Re: We should write about our successes to increase Bitcoin adoption
by
xena2
on 06/09/2018, 12:09:11 UTC
I was going through a African airport today, on my way back from a project that we launched in Kenya and I saw this book in a little book shop, Mr Bitcoin: How I became a millionaire at 21 by Mpho Dagada

http://jacana.bookslive.co.za/blog/2018/06/07/launch-mr-bitcoin-how-i-became-a-millionaire-at-21-by-mpho-dagada-7-june/

Even though this might not be one of the best books that I have ever read, it shows the success that might be possible, even in countries where you might never have thought that it was possible.

I spend most of my flight home reading the book and it made me think that more people should write books and articles on their successes with Bitcoin to increase adoption.

People like the rags to riches stories and it motivates them to achieve the same level of success.  Wink
It is good that there is a book which such beautiful story like his(Mr.Bitcoin). It will encourage people and will also give awareness and information about bitcoin and not only vocally(just like how i knew bitcoin) but also in a written form. I agree it will help increase the number of supporters of not only bitcoin but all cryptos.

Re: Stop using words "Bitcoin", "Crypto", "Blockchain" interchangeably.
by
xena2
on 06/09/2018, 11:33:11 UTC
With due respect, I think you should at least make more explanation to justify your claim, because most people knew bitcoin is part of crypto currency but you said bitcoin itself is crypto currency. Do mean crypto is bitcoin as well or bitcoin is crypto like ethereum and all other coins?
I'll explain for him.
Cryptocurrency is a digital Currency. (Ex. (Litecoin, Ethereum , Bitcoin etc.)are all Cryptocurrency
Bitcoin as he said is a cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is the first and leading cryptocurrency today. In regarding with blockchain, it is a network where these cryptos are processed digitally and encrypted.
Correct me if I'm wrong. This is my own understanding.
