Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin?

Sure, technology always develop, even without bitcoin there will be other alternative coin that can replace bitcoin. But for now, bitcoin is the leader of all crypto currency, I think every coin would try to surpass bitcoin, it is a healthy competition between blockchains developer. If we talk about issues, I think soon they will overcome it. Issues always followed by other issues, and right now bitcoin, and other coins, is not only facing technical issues but also social issues. Just keep calm and see what will comes up.

Re: Why media against bitcoin ?
by

on 18/02/2018, 16:23:15 UTC
Actually I'm not agree that media against bitcoin, it is all true that bitcoin is a high risk trading and how it goes up and down significantly in only over a year is really something. It is very logical if media will put negative news about how dangerous bitcoin is. But if there is any media that really hate bitcoin, I'm not really sure, let me know...

Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ?

I think so, especially corruptor. They can use bitcoin or other coin to clean their money (money laundry).  By using crypto currency they can transfer their money between trading platform freely and cash their money out of country. Isn't it obvious...?  Huh

Depend on the ICO, but usually in the end of ICO, the price will go down significantly and then get back up later (Do not know how long). If I were you i would sell it in when the ICO is end than keep tracking and buy back when I think it at it's lowest. just don't be greedy.

Re: How is bitcoin banned in some countries?
by
xheon
on 05/02/2018, 01:39:47 UTC
Some countries ban bitcoin because it is very fluctuating, and some think that bitcoin is same as gambling. There are also country think that bitcoin may endanger their legal currency. Many thought about it, but some day I believe that they will accept bitcoin as a part of technology-development.

It is definitely possible for you keep on trading using offshore trading platform, but maybe it will be more complicated to withdraw your money.
Every country has has their own financial law, depends on where you live, any legal implication? I'm not sure either.

Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ?
by

on 28/01/2018, 15:30:22 UTC
I think it is a part of technology development. Everything in the future digitized and encrypted so does money. If you think is it dangerous, everything is dangerous in their development process. But if you does invest when it is already safe, the profit will not be as high as people who invest now.

Re: Wondering Why When BTC drops, ALts drops!
by

I think because now bitcoin is the leader of cryptocurrency and many crypto trading platform are using bitcoin to exchange coin or to transfer coin between platform. So when something cause bitcoin down, it will drag altcoin down too.  Wink

Re: ETH or Waves?
by
xheon
on 25/01/2018, 03:19:26 UTC
They both have probability to grow more this year. Actually it depends on you, but if I were you i would chose ETH than waves.

ETH is more less like bitcoin, it has the vision of not only having a decentralised crypto currrency but also allowing decentralised applications to be created on the ethereum blockchain that use smart contract. The price also better than waves, and it doesn't drop that much in this January. It proves that eth fundamentally stronger than waves.

But if money is not your problem, it will be even better if you invest your money in both of them. It just a matter of time who will go up first.

Re: Do ALL Coins always move together?
by
xheon
on 23/01/2018, 06:49:11 UTC
not really, but you should aware that bitcoin is almost affecting all alternate coin. I am not sure why, but maybe many platform used bitcoin as a transaction method. If bitcoin go down or up, many alternate coin will follow it. But it is possible for alternate coin it self go up without when bitcoin is still steady.

Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin?
by

If I recall, the first time I heard about bitcoin was when a computer virus attack multiple databases around the world in mid 2017. The virus creator demanded bitcoin as a ransom. At that time, bitcoin price is around 1000$.
