Deeply disheartening that what is meant to be priority of live is tossed like dice, mostly securing of human life and peaceful living and coexisting between two nations due to political interest and some others reasons that may seem unrevail to the public, it's more advisable that peace which brings growths and development is been adopted no matter what would be individual interest over this war because no Nation will claim of any good development in war even when their is victory of winning a war.
The war was an international chessboard with stream rollers on innocent people and time revealed how justified Assad's forces actually were to his countrymen. Sovereignty has no price for a country like Syria where the world's most powerful nations have bombed them indiscriminately, children have lost their parents and died from lack of food.The hope is that the new government is clarifying its position and announcing amnesty and the citizens of the country are welcoming the new government and celebrating.

The PC is pretty powerful with 8 cores, 40Gb RAM and SSD throughout. The blockchain is on its own disk.
I haven't used Windows ever for Bitcoin Core, but with those specs a computer shouldn't freeze from verifying a few blocks. I can only imagine disk-IO being a limitation, but with that much RAM that shouldn't be a problem. If your OS can't properly multitask, changing priority isn't going to help.Of it gradually improve with time.

So far as life is concerned everyone needs to prepare their future on time and the best way is to learn a good investment practices that will stand as a relief at a time when we won't have the strength to work much again because that is what will smoothen our financial position in the near future and we should do away with the fear of failure and be very positive as well apply the best investment strategy that will enable us to become successful investors. Investments are attached with risks but the risks are minimal more especially when we invest in Bitcoin because you don't need to be disturbed about your investment as all you need do is just to keep your investment goals alive by accumulating more at every time there is a dip in the price of Bitcoin.
I've read some other comments in the thread and what your saying seems quite contradictory, I don't think the dip is the only time we should accumulate bitcoin since we are using the DCA method that involves buying at intervals and helps reduce the impact of market volatility on our portfolio, besides those who buy only at dips would miss out on all other times to buy.
I think it's far better to buy eventide with DCA cause trying to time the market is the same as trading cause you might never buy If you keep on waiting for the dip especially as a new investors that needs to take more action than wait.

no one can predict that bitcoin can reach 100k without a major price decline, it may or may not happen. but if we look back, maybe we will experience a major price decline before the halving or after the halving, and that will probably drag the price of bitcoin to a fairly low point. because it will not be possible for the price of bitcoin to continue to rise to 100k without a major price decline, but the question is when that will happen, because when that happens there will probably be many people who will experience losses.
If you want to cover your loss, you can invest BTC by using DCA into weekly or monthly basis.

Hunger is the major challenge Nigerian is facing now and this has affected both the rich and the poor as price of food is increasing on daily basis. Although the rich are a little bit leverage to this situation than the poor because irrespective of the metamorphism of the increment of the of price of food across the country they will still have some money to afford food stocks but the poor are left with no choice than the mercy of hunger and suffering. It's funny to see a country that is well known for agriculture as means of export going through this level of hardship and hunger.
I think corruption is the main problem in Nigeria and maximum corrupted person are involved in politics, political power and corruption depend on each other, for this reason general public are gradually under going below the poverty line
