Re: Make-believe toy money (Bitcoin) is coming to an end

Told you so long ago to get the hell out.

People with financial sense have sold long ago - the price is now constantly going ever lower with only the "HODL'ers" being dumb enough to "buy the dip" - but the dips will just continue to get deeper and deeper.

And, yes, in here people are desperately screaming "FUD" at anyone who are not 100% believers in their fantasy crypto money - but at the end of the day, it is only these dreamers who will be owning the fantasy money, and like old pokemon-cards only other collectors might want to buy a few of them at pennies on the dollar.

So yeah let the dips get deeper. So what?
Who cares if the price goes back to 1k?
Blockchain technology was a revolution and that wont change because some kids will not get the lambos they dreammed.
Get it together dude.

@Op Coinbase fees are ridiculous so i would recommend stop using them asap.
A good alternative would be kraken, for free sepa transfers for fiat.

Re: How to cloud mine more efficiently

hey all, this is my hashflare account. I took a screeny of my hash rate and daily mines. I want to figure out how to know which pools are more efficient to mine in before I continue to invest. my first day is the most efficient at 12 but the last three days have been around 9 and i don't know why its changed so drastically.

this is my eth mining, this seems pretty steady tho

You bought the contract right! initially you may find the cloud mining seems profitable but soon they will charge for maintaining your account and some cloudmining platform may block your account. Still looking to connect the profitable pool nanopool or antpool.

I see the image link you are shared here but this is not a profitable amount for the amount you invested.
Please understand and turns to GPU rig mining. with the 5 cards you will be able to make around 350 USD for a month.

i agree. cloud mining is sometimes too good to be true at the start. then, later on, you will see the true color of that cloud mining site as most sites do. but, it's his money. so good luck!

Thanks, i invested ~$260 into btc mining and by the end of the year i should have 500 usd worth of bitcoin (what it's worth now) by the end of the year surely the price will be worth much more. How is it not profitable with the amount i've invested? Why does it even matter how much you invest? The ratio appears to be the same. I was aware of the maintenance fee for btc. I thought that was the only fee? And i did a lot of research everyone said only nice thing about cloud mining idk why now all the sudden everyone says its not that great...-.-

Ok then if you re convinced about those profits cu next year Smiley
Hope it works for you but if you did actually a research you wouldnt got into cloudmining in the first place.

Re: Why don't people realize the problems with cloud mining?
by

To me the answer is simple.
Many people dont like to research and find out the answer.
They will believe anything, and if someone promises them x-profit its a nobrainer for them to "invest" their money.

Re: Best cloud mining site

For me it is HashFlare. Here are few reasons:
  • It provides detailed real-time mining statics from anywhere at any device.
  • There are no any hidden fees and provide affordable mining equipment. Furthermore, you can use discount code to save up to 10% off the regular price.
Allows you to select your own pool for finding maximum profitable combination

The latest promo code you can get here: https://bitcoinmining-cloud.com/

As far as i know hashflare hasnt provided any proof or video they even own a datacenter.
So dont be so sure about those "real time mining statistics".

Also, even though you are covered by buyers protection from ebay and paypal, dont take it for granded you will end up getting your money back.
In general, if the price is too good to be true it probably is a scam.
Dont mess around, you will save time and money.

Nice work there.
I have to mention that it would be great if you could a add a custom date range feature for showing graphs.
Apart from default, ie. specific day 25/01/2018 or 25/01/2018-10/08/2019.
I havent find this feature in similar sites and it would diversify you from the competition.

To be fairly honest, they don't look like a scam to me (may shutdown business but not for the sake of running away with the money), but do not take my word as a fact or anything.

I don't think they're not a scam business because mainly they're not offering bitcoin mining but rather various more profitable coins. Also, their site looks most professional of most and also one more positive thing is that they're not promising huge ROI in a few days.

But cloud mining services are in a bad position today and will continue on to be if they still focus on mining bitcoin mainly.

I love the idea of cloudmining and always will, but do not take my word here as a green light for investing in this one. This is just my opinion.

Professional looking site, tells nothing.
They do offer bitcoin mining, but its currently "sold out".
In general, not only for Genesis, why would a cloudmning company prefer to "share" the profits from mining if they are a profitable industry?
To me the answer is simple.
Because in the end you wont profit at all, or even worse loose your intial investment.

Re: Cloud Mining.... Does it pay?

I really cant understand how cloudmining works.
If they actually have the datacenter and equipment required for mining at the rates advertised,
why dont they mine and keep the profits in the first place?
I dont get it.  Huh
Cloudmining sounds interesting at first but after you do a research i think it sounds too good to be true.
