currently over 8000 SLM was burned, which is about 1/3 of total coins generated.
people are burning so many coins to be able to mine via POB, and the POB rewards are getting smaller.
this bodes well for the future price of SLM. IMHO
only thing is that dev needs to be more proactive in getting pools signed up and getting the coin on the exchange.

1. download wallet, go to console and type setgenerate true
no gpu mining, only cpu via wallet now. no pools yet
2. inside the wallet, their is burn button. you can set how many coins to burn and press burn. but you'll need confirmed coins to do that. and as of now no one has mature coins. since it take 520 confirms to mature and we're at block 500 now.
