[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW
by
xinzer0
on 09/02/2023, 12:02:43 UTC

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)

How can we store and send on vericoin when the wallet is very slow very slow Undecided, it takes at least 5 years to sync not even the wallet update since 2018. What are you doing ? How do you want people to own vericoin if the wallet alone isn't working? even download multiple times turn on Tongue

Guys, go check out this coin. It is in away a lot like VRM/VRC and better on most fronts.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2361848.0

This coin is also a CPU-only mineble coin with staking build in. It is also a lot less complex (not two different coins/forks) and coins that are mined to the wallet will be staked automatically. Wallet doesn't even have to be online. And one coin already generates interest. The coin is super fast with transactions. And there is a bootstrap to get your wallet synced up fast!

Is there anyone found block recently?

We know people are.  Pool mining is a way to go for less powerful CPU's.  Check out our Discord.

Though i know currently CPU mining is not much profitable anymore and where Electricity costing been increased day by day here and accessories prices also been increased but if i want to take a test is there anyone who is recently doing this CPU mining and tell me what coin be the best mining option with my Intel i7 8700k ? And also which pool using will be the best option.Thank you!

Hi would suggest getting the cpu-miner software and try mining some different coins on https://pool.rplant.xyz/. Rplant got it's own version of the cpu-miner software that allows for easy swapping and testing different coins.

I have tried all coins on Rplant with my ryzen 3900x, so can't give you specific estimates for Intel. But I would suggest mining Roi-coin. I'm currently mining about 3000 roi per 24h which currently sells for 3 Satoshi (€0.76353) with one ryzen.

Currently I'm mining and holding the coin, because this specific coin is also stakable and patiently waiting for it to jump back to at least 8 or 9 Satoshi which will at least be €1,50 per 24h.

So with this coin I believe cpu mining is probably more profitable then GPU mining and doesn't require a shit load of GPU's and can still be mined with a normal PC.

I would also suggest reading the white-paper on: https://roi-coin.com if it peaks your interest.

Thanks for the info,

I hope XMR jumps to 100 for you.

0,17 cents profit per day is not a lot.. but profit is profit!

What price did you invest into your PC?

IMHO, only true solo-cpu-mining coins are pretty for mining because of botnets
let's try to convince me otherwise

My Ryzen 3600 is profitable on XMR, on a daily basis. At the same time, it's running my Bitcoin Node.

What is profitable? How much XMR are you earning per 24h? And what is your estimated daily profit (minus electricity).

I was mining VRM a couple months ago and never really figured out how to get VRC or how to stake the coin.

It this already possible? Can I send VRM to a VRC wallet and will that in turn generate VRC?

Hi, i'd like to know the same please. I have tried sending VRM to VRC and it just gets lost, also tried importing priv keys and still to good.
I thought this was one of the main goals of the binary chain? Seems pointless if you cant change VRM into VRC

Yeah, that is exactly how I feel about it.

I found another CPU-only mining coin, that also has staking build in and is a lot less complex. Haven't tried mining it with my XU4 though. But my ryzens are working great with it while the coins mined are staked automatically when they enter my wallet. And the wallet doesn't even have to be online.

YadaCoin is a really great option for CPU mining. Not tons of competition, listed on SafeTrade (no KYC), and minable using their XMRig Fork.

I was looking on the main website to find more information on CPU/GPU mining or if its ASIC resistant.
Could not find what i was looking for, also couldn't find a whitepaper.

Could you give the above info?

If you realy like solo CPU-mining, i would suggest Nerva (XNV)
More info at: https://getnerva.org/

This coin is really about solo CPU-mining. But if you want to make a little bit more profit, I would suggest a different CPU coin.

I have tried mining it for a couple of days with one of my Ryzens. This what i noted down back then.
   • 14 threads
   • 18 nerva per 24h
$0,29 per 24h

Prices were a little higher back then i guess. Coingecko says 18 XNV is worth $0,204912 at the moment.

Re: Energi [NRG] Cryptocurrency for World Adoption | PoS | MN | No-ICO or Premine |
by

This weekend I bought about 60 NRG for staking.

It took me two day to get it working and I work in IT. In the tutorial it doesn't state the the block chain needs to be fully synced before you can stake with your own wallet/node. If this coin is to be mass adopted, then this should be a lot easier imo.

Then I left it running for more then 24 hours while being quite excited for the returns and checking the history page as described in the staking guide. But guess what, nothing happend!

So I started to read on my chances of getting staking rewards and i found out that I had to leave my node/PC online for the next 130 days and I might get a reward of 2 NRG.. How is this ever gonna be profitable?

So after that I did some more research and I found out that I had to invest a lot more to get regular rewards. But if all investors did the same, my chances would still not rise.

NRG feels like being a crab in barrel full of crabs. Every crab trying to climb out, only to push each other down. To me it feels like the only ones that seem to harvest here are the dev team and the exchanges where NRG is listed. And the funny thing about this coin is that the dev team is openly admitting that they are farming this coin to make profit, calling it the treasurery..

I probably should have read more before investing..

And I am wondering if there is a coin that does not decrease staking chances when the circulation on the net increases..

I will try and clarify a few things if I can here.

1) In regards to the wallet needing to be fully synced. This is the same for all POS coins (except dPOS), you cannot stake unless your are synced with the current best block on the network otherwise your wallet may be staking an incorrect amount. In terms of the initial steps to start staking, it can take a little time to get used to the setup when users are more used to the Generic User Interface wallets, an overlay which does these steps in the background. We are working on options where this may be available in the future but we do have a dedicated support team who are more than happy to assist users who have issues with the process and this is available directly within the guides. On a side note, we ask our community not to post their balances in public as it can leave them as a target of scammers. Security is a vital feature of our project.

2) In regards to staking rewards. For the amount you posted, based on our rewards calculators the estimated time to receive a reward is not 130 days as you mentioned. It is showing as 1127 hours which is just under 47 days. Our staking reward is 2.28 NRG and is paid in full so you do not receive a % of this daily. To give a better visual we include the daily, weekly and monthly proportionate values. You can find the Reward Calculator at https://nexus.energi.network/ just click on Reward Calculator in the options. As with any staking coin, the larger your balance the larger your staking weight which means the shorter the interval between rewards. Other factors such as number of wallets staking, time connected to the network etc can also impact staking. Again this is similar to other POS coins.

3) You stated that only the dev team are farming coins with the Treasury where in fact the Treasury does not stake or run masternodes so your statement is inaccurate. In fact we have a large number of the community who are actively staking and/or running masternodes and earning rewards.

I hope this addresses some of your queries but if you have specific questions it may be better to ask in our Discord or Telegram channels as you may receive a quicker response.

1) yes it's pretty obvious that a wallet or mode should be synced before being able to stake. But it is not explained in the staking guide on your site. I was mentioning it so your team can add it to the guide.

2) in regards to skaking rewards. I was using https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/energi/calculate to calculate my chances which had a lot worse estimations. Funny enough the calculator doesn't show any day estimations anymore. But what both calculators don't show, is the total staked coins on the network. Would be a lot more transparent if this was shown, so potential investors get real usable info and will be able to do there own calculations

3) I wasn't saying the dev team was getting there cut by staking coins. It's explained pretty openly that the dev gets 40% of every round in circulation, while all the stakers get 10% every round and that 10% cut has to be shared with all the staking investors. Chances drop lower when more investors join.

40% every round, come on! It's easy to see why the marketing is so good and all the big crypto YouTubers  are invested in NRG and showing there support. Because it's easy to spend tons on marketing and still earn tons more because of the way NRG is designed.

Some people say that Ryzen processor is good for CPU mining, is anyone here is using this AMD processor now? Is it profitable? how about the hash power produced by this procie is it okay? If anyone here already using it kindly share your experience with this processor. Thanks

My ryzen 9 3900 PC cost me €825 including shipping fee. Had to build it myself and am using an open source OS. Basically I wanted to build a new ryzen 9 PC with cheap components. While not overcloking the system it gets an average of 1400 h/s on Roi-coin. Here is my build; High-end PC | Ryzen 9 3900X | RAM 16gb | M.2 500GB-SSD

CPU mining proofitable only if you have huge numbers of cpu's
or you can earn approx 1-3$ per month

True if your mining XMR. But with less popular coins it's easy to earn way more then 3$ per month. Now just one ryzen 9 is earning me about 3000 ROI-COIN daily. Wich is $0.54696 every 24h at the current price of 2 Satoshi (stats from coingecko).

And prices on Roi-coin are pretty low at the moment. They were at 8 Satoshi last week. Wich is a 200% increase. So you can make about $2 a day with just one PC

All coins on https://pool.rplant.xyz/ are cpu mineable.
Just download there cpu-miner software and you can get a lot different coins to mine.

Myself I'm focusing on Roi-coin (cpu-only). The current payout is pretty high atm. But the prices are a bit low. But the coin has a triple hybrid feature which also allows it to be staked. So I am staking the mined coins till prices rise back to at least 8 Satoshi.

Last Thursday i downloaded the Energi (NRG) wallet, because it seemed like one of the most potential staking coins. Deposited 60 NRG (about 100 dollar) to see the workings.

Yesterday after about 4 hours of trouble shooting till late in the evening i finally got the staking functionality working.

So today i was hoping to see some staking rewards.... So after 24 hours of leaving my PC online... Nothing happens.. So i was getting more curious and started to read more on NRG staking percentages. (Probably should have done this before investing)...
What i learned was that if leave my PC online 24/7 for the next 130 days, i might get 2 NRG!! That will never pay for the electricity bill.. So what a joke is this NRG coin.. (number #113 on coin gecko)

So after doing some more researching on popular staking coins. They all seem to have the same mechanics which focuses on scarcity. They all try to make you believe that you can make some return on investment if you buy some coins and hodl them. But what they don't tell you, is that your chances of earning some coins drop by a lot when everybody starts investing in the same coin. Not only that you, will never know what your actual reward will be after a long period of staking (100 days  plus). So the only thing you can do to increase your chances, is to buy more coins... But when everybody does this or when more new investors join and start staking, your chances will still be the same (or even lower). Its like a barrel full of crabs all trying to get out but everybody keeps pushing everyone down.. The only ones who make returns of investments with these type of coins, are the devs and the Exchanges.

I believe this coins interest rates are not dictated by the amount you have in comparison to the circulating coins on the network. So with tiny amounts the rates are the same as with big amounts which is a lot fairer for the little guy. So yeah, there will be a lot of coins on the market and inflation will be high (like dogecoin). So this coin will probably never be worth one BTC. But this coin does have a fair change of becoming the replacement for Dogecoin.

My guess is this coin will probably not reach the same price as NRG anytime soon. But it is very possible to increase at least by 200% seeing its current price is at 2 satoshi and can easy jump back to 8 satoshi. So imo now is a  good time to invest..

And yes i have also invested in this coin and i'm mining/staking the coin and i want the volume and price to increase. Not just to make 200% profit! (which is nice), but also because i believe this coin is different!

OK, enough of my ramblings..

What i wanted to mention is that ROI-coin really is different! It is really super easy to start staking in. Just drop Roi to your wallet and the amount starts staking, without having the wallet online.. And if you want a bit higher returns, you can deposit your coins. All this can be done with a super easy GUI. And if you still aren't sure about how to stake, just watch mikes video's, that's what i did.

This coin should be massed adopted! Its fast, its simple, and it works! Prices are currently at an all time low: 2 satoshi on altcoins.

What i'm not sure about is, will the interest rate drop when more ROI-coins are in circulation?

Currently mining coins with my cpu to my wallet. Coins mined are automatically generating interest and the wallet doesn't even have to be online.

Also have a larger stack of Roi-coins on long term deposits for even higher interest rates.

The coin is not new, the original post on the forum has 182 pages of replies.

This coin is imo the best cpu mineble coin at the moment. I have tried mining all popular cpu coins on rplant, all the xmr-stak-rx coins and some special ones like riecoin, nerva, Gulden and Verium. But they all can't match roi-coin.

It's easy to cpu mine and imo the most profitable atm. And I haven't even mentioned the fact that the coin also works with proof of stake with super high interest rates.

This coin has a ton of potential and is super fast with transactions. Only the GUI is a bit plain.

This coin deserves more attention and will definitely take of at a certain moment. If you want to jump in, believe me, now is the time. Seeing the coin price is currently super low because of the recent triple exchange listing.
